Direst Poems

Godly Rules To Live By

Unswerving in your sincere actions,
stating the main purpose of intentions;
no venom is excreted from enlarged veins
without the fear of horrific moments!

Be grateful for the ample kindness shown,
never a trace of bitter sentiment or a frown;
eyes tear when crossing over the deep abyss
with the hesitation to discover its darkness!

Woeful are the darkest secrets kept to oneself,
when they're confessed they can be a relief;
pluck roses from their stems without bleeding:
thorns were Christ's crown proclaiming Him king!

Persistence is such a fortitude stronger than gold,
give someone a stone instead of sweet bread:
he will speedily fling it back and seek revenge;
treat everybody fairly and nobody will ever cringe!

Be infallible in your ultimate quest for beneficial change,
remain loyal to your peers, avoid conflict and treason;
if unfair judgment is implemented, let God be the judge:
sequels end when the pile of lies crumbles in soggy rain!

Faith binds spirit and heart to pursue holiness,
be a deviant and bear the direst consequences;
religion imposes punishment, society never does:
does freedom mean to do whatever one pleases?

Premium MemberThe Faith of Dogs

Adoringly, she stares at you,
trusting that you will see her through,
her rescuer from direst straits.
So at your feet, she patient waits.

The master’s children first are fed;
bewildered not by what He said,
she knows her place, but doesn’t care.
She’s certain there’s enough to share.

A Canaanite does thus inspire
the object of her great desire;
In Tyre no less, not synagogues -
great indeed, the faith of dogs…

Premium MemberIncident In An Iowa Cornfield

Before it is posted on Facebook and everyone knows
I peed in an Iowa cornfield at the beginning of some rows.

It was an absolute necessity under direst of circumstance
My brother took the picture showing my unique little dance.

And, no, I don’t make a habit of that sort of unseemly activity
But when “you gotta go, you gotta go,” a traveling man’s proclivity.

So, when you see my backside with front facing those rows of corn
Be very thankful I was clothed, not posed like the day I was born!

And since the photograph does not show my face full frontal
I can always deny the whole incident with a thorough disgruntle.

Too Late For Sorrow

While bending the rules,
and strattling the line
I pushed every limit,
calling it mine

Tearing down fences,
defiantly proud
The direst warnings,
rebutted out loud

One last price to pay,
its ticket to stamp
Shadows concealing
my spiritual ramp

Each vow that I’ve broken,
those things left undone
The man I became
—a life zero sum

Twixt Immense Powers Of Love And Dark Hates

Twixt' immense powers of Love and dark Hates
rests blackest void that in sad sorrow awaits

For love bringeth deepest joys of moonlit dreams
emerging Light, epic truth it always brings
Shining dawns that wrap souls into warm fires
rose-red colors, graced by hope that so inspires

Yet seeds of dark hate cleaveth to such high cliffs
oft seen images Egyptian hieroglyphs
Dark webs wickedly woven to lost souls trap
birthing false paths upon each deceiving map

Twixt' immense powers of Love and dark Hates
rests blackest void that in sad sorrow awaits

Colossal powers battle to control gain
one storm's wrecking wrath, other Spring's giving rain
Betwixt that eternal realm, Darkness and Light
man but mere pawn in that never ending fight

Should thee seeketh with truth and warm open hearts
Light gifteth joy and as wisdom it imparts
Saileth thy vessel, blue waters of calm seas
without direst fears, need of sad prayer pleas

Twixt' immense powers of Love and dark Hates
rests blackest void that in sad sorrow awaits

In Trepidation

It was in reach for,
a chilling sensation.
           A flame of the moon.

The world shrinks.
You become ready
           for the direst consequences.

You deserve to be hurt
in the arms of truancy,
           without a trace of remorse.

The wounded breast.
It wanted to disappear?
            and come back in dark.

Frozen, the repeat hymn.
It lives in my heart.
How can I forget you,
             O, my tormentor !

Christmas

The season of hope, the season of giving,
The time to reflect on the life you've been living.
Children innocent, gleeful, jolly,
Masquerading in magical midnight folly.

Token gifts exchanged with teary eyes,
Sentimentality to make up for expressionless lies.
The streets lined bright with twinkling lights,
Amaretto, giddy to dispell never-ending nights.

The anticipation is welcomed into their chests,
The disillusioned only waiting to end their direst.
Simply a day if you've no one to share with,
Only a waiting game, until it is over with.

Just one day yet it's been another year,
Rejection was always your biggest fear.
Melancholia swelling in your heart, loneliness growing more,
Then Christmas is over and it's all back to how it was before.

Facing Loneliness

FACING LONELINESS

I was told by wisdom that to know loneliness is to know oneself.
She said to be alone is essence.
In that, you do not misuse this time with heartache but seek a greater way.
I have experience this kind of direst.
Through the lack of unity, I became distressed.
Being alone became a form of harmony with the world.
My knowledge grew via my worldview becoming skewed.

I was given knowledge via the face of loneliness.
He told me to hold my head-up because anyone can make a mistake.
It is not to be unaccompanied from the world’s marketplace.
However, this is a time to gain insight unaided.

I was told by my own knowledge that sometimes anyone needs space.
Through this knowledge, I am alone but I am not lonely today.

Something In a Void

For we perceive beyond the rainbow,
Beyond the shadow of gravity holding ISS.
Caught not in a void
But like bees wading in their own honey,
Pollinating space with thoughts …

Our tent did blow from on high
Exposing this nakedness.
They, uncomprehending,
A soul did incarcerate;
Feeding barest morsels shared with rats;
Though famished eyed her fleeting skirt.
So did she infiltrate his racked dreams?
Spittle healing cuts; kisses soothing bruises,
Milk nourishing hunger …
Tears washing away grimy sorrow.

Such comfort in the bounds of direst misery …

HOW CAN YOU LOVE A BUTTERFLY?
Tis Satans call to claim the mind
of anyone who cares to find
the way to death and so eternity
the wages for lifes greatest tragedy
and questioning of lies that be.

What evil waits--you never know
until your hearts have made it so
brought on by greed of those who just don't care
who'd never do the same, not on a dare!
Tis not a sin to lead you there.

They'll tell you any sort of lie
for their own cause, don't ask them why
lest you be branded racist through and through
and blinded to what ever they might do
accused, you only close your eye!

The childrens minds are where they seed
to change young hearts to what they need,
but something's gone wrong in their direst plot
for truth is still a thing that's always sought
when history's written from a greed.

How does a person feel a lie?
How can you love a butterfly?
How do you know deep in your heart and soul
that all the things you're told aren't always so?
And Swastikas may fade, but never die.

love is the source of intercourse,
between some mayhap, half relations,
word of mouth does perchance force,
wells break of direst fine stagnation:)

A Celestial Mother's Belly Grows

A celestial mother's belly grows
Her precious burden shows
Yet of the youth to leave her care
She is most unaware

He vanquished evil, death defied
Healed diseases, conquered lies
To, in his direst moment call;
"It is done"

"bump, Pump" (Rock/Rap/Cross+over)

"Bump, Pump"
(rock/rap/crossover)

I am a turn round kind a love
a mush to love, sure thing, to kiss under the sun

can you hear the sound of my call
come one, come all if you need love

roll around in my head of unused sins
don't wait, come right on in

the level of devil, wants to play with you
we can roll around in my may unnatural views
come on in, the waters, don't run deep
you only have to stand in at bed room steep

can you hear the sound of my call
come one, come all if you need love

no dire (direst) love needed, can't be reached
bump it hard, pump it wild

I am a turn round kind a love
no dire love needed, can't be reached
you only have to stand in at bed room steep

so roll around, roll around
in me~

But For Your Grace

But for your grace I would not be here
down on my knees in fervent prayer -
I’m talking to You for I am lost.

While the wicked one starts out fast,
the good man always finishes last -
Lord, I just do not understand.

To folks on the hill You showered wealth
but out in the slums there is only death -
I’m confused and I do not comprehend.

The lucky few cannot sate their greed
as the throng cry in their direst need -
please tell me, oh Lord, why this is so.

Somewhere a poor child dies from hunger
while the emperor wields so much power -
You have abandoned your own people.

You know I am trying my best to be good
but You leave me alone to bear my load -
what have I done to displease You, Lord?

Down deep in the darkest pit of my soul
is your humble servant’s pleading call -
make me understand, help me stand.

But for your grace I would not be here
down on my knees in fervent prayer -
I’m talking to You for I am lost.
