Difficultly Poems | Examples

Premium Member Mind Bendingly Real

I wake from a bad dream
Hey there new man
That’s what they said to me
Hey there how’s it been lately?
I stand, look and see

Elvis, Martin Luther King and John Lennon walk on by so casually.
Roy Orbison and Freddie Mercury harmonising with Liberace as the queen mother watches whilst sipping tea

As I walk what looks like on nothing
I see Winston Churchill talking with Audie Murphy as Lewis Collins stares at me

I say hello to Marylyn Monroe or Norma Jean as Tony Curtis politely corrects me
Burgess Meredith tells me to do push ups, James Mason steadies me. Richard Burton drinking with Roger Moore on one round table and on the table next to them John Thaw doing a crossword - difficultly!

I walk on aimlessly as I see Bruce Lee training ferociously. Clark Gable playing cards with Humphrey Bogart and General Custer sipping whiskey with Einstein, Herriot, Tolkien and Agatha Christie - something too mind bending to me!

I walk through some glass doors and a whole world of familiar faces turns to see.

I wake up suddenly.

I sit up and can’t believe how real that felt to me.

You Are Not Defined By

What to expect...Many others do tell...
shaping lives into a mold of how it is they feel...
Seemingly harmless but still a doubt creates
Now facing yourself's reflection of who it is they've made
Pulling down the crows feet smoothing out the old age
Splashing water in drops that weep, raining down cascades
Breath held difficultly deep, releases with so much pain
Eyes open almost complete to stare at your new face
Re-start with all the little things wash, brush, and shave
Believing begins with belief in the person that you've made
Heart racing into upbeat, excited to face the day
Realizing the pasts lies, you are not defined by what they say...

B1-P1 I Am Successfulj

I AM SUCCESSFUL

LEARN TO LIVE IN THE PRESENT
AND NOT THE PASS

I AM SUCCESSFUL
ALWAYS HEADED TOWARD THE FUTURE.

I AM SUCCESSFUL
WHAT I CAN BE AND WHAT I CAN DO IS
THE DETERMINED BY THE DEGREE OF
OF SELF DETERMINATION I MENTALLY
IMPOSES OF MYSELF.

I AM SUCCESSFUL
THEE ENCOURAGING FACT ALL THE
RESOURCES I HAVE ARE IN MY MIND
THAT I HAVE WITH IN MYSELF.

I AM SUCCESSFUL
TO REALIZE I AM CREATE THAN
I HAVE EVER CONSIDERED MYSELF TO BE.

I AM SUCCESSFUL
I AM CAPACITY OF HANDLE ANYTHING COME AT ME.

I AM SUCCESSFUL
CAUSE I WILL THINK MY WAY OUT ANY DIFFICULTLY.

Wounded Poem

I am wounded and now feel alone,
you did not read my poem.

How sad for you
 sadder still for me.

The words were simple
spread wavy like an old nun's wimple.

Do not discount my words as uninspired.
 sometimes they are difficultly unacquired.

But they look for recognition
it is part of my human condition.

So go ahead, read someone else’s words
and hopefully you’ll find meaning in the blurbs.

Leave me here to my own distractions
 filled with moody dissatisfaction.

Are We Evolving?

How can this be, I think to myself,
My life is now changing, ever changing.

Sensing myself lifting into the air and no longer upon a shelf.
New dimensions, I seem to be forever transcending.

Not only me but others likewise, building something new.
As if they are also headed for better days.

As I read the scriptures I see something commented upon but by few.
Which shows an evolution of mankind out of his daze.

I see mankind coming out a dog eat dog philosophy
And headed towards a spirit of cooperation in life's forward struggle.

No longer, trying to grab what the other has won with such difficultly.
But, creating something of one's own with one's own skill, so surely.

Then standing back and smiling as another creates something new and great.
Then once again we all move forward again, inspired by each other's new day.

Then one and all can admire each other's great feat.
Where one and all can with pomp and circumstance run out and play.

Time

TIME, EACH DAY WE PASSES THRU, TRAIL AND TRIPERLATIONS
EACH DAY WE STRUGGLE TO LIVE, TO EAT, TO SLEEP.
EACH DAY WE LABOR AT ALL KINDS OF TASKS IN AN EFFORT TO
PROPERTY AND GROW IN FIELDS AND PROFESSIONS GOD HAS
ESTABLISHED FROM BIRTH
EACH DAY WE OVER COME, AND TAKE SOME OF THE HASSLE OUT OF
OUR LIVES
ONLY TO CREATE BIGGER AND MORE COMPLICATED, WIDER AND DIVERSE
ONES OF MORE DIFFICULTLY
EACH THOSE DAY BY DAY WE OVER COME MORE AND MORE, SUCCESSES
AND FAILURES, BUT IN ALL THEIR IT ONLY ONE THINK WE CAN’T ALL
COUNT ON, NO MATTER WHAT WE DO AND WITH ALL THINGS,
TIME PASSES ON
