Dieticians Poems | Examples

A Scientific Discovery

A SCIENTIFIC DISCOVERY
A great discovery has been found,
It’s a wonderful scientific fact,
That chocolate now is good for you,
The Nobel prize is worthy of that

Chocolate was seen as the enemy,
Saying it would forever be on the hips.
Well that doesn’t bother me any more,
So long as I can taste it on my lips.

Eating chocolate before a meal,
I'd be inclined to eat less at dinner,
Which according to my calculations,
Could make me look a bit thinner.

If raisins or cherries are chocolate covered,
Then they should be counted as fruit,
Dieticians recommend three fruits a day,
I agree, and gladly say ,“you beaut”.

There’s no Chocolate Anonymous for addicts,
No organization will ever be found;
Having tasted it, no one wants to quit.
While delicious creamy chocolate is around.

Now knowing that chocolate is good for me,
I can begin my happy, healthy start,
And open up the chocolates I have hidden,
Because science says I need it for my heart.

Just Do You

With my fusion of lyrics and rhythm
There is no confusion that I’m refusing to simply be disillusioned
With intellectual distribution
I do not have hesitation to let you give me recognition
Realising that my vision is empowered by my necessitation of not wanting to simply be the illest
But the illest who conveys parables continuation
Guaranteed expectation of never being word stranded, inspiration
Protection from all lyric dieticians, word anorexia, rhythmic bulimia
Representation of obese lyrical content, larger than life
Not afraid to speak what’s on my mind
Plantation of human strength to express ones feelings with the spoken word
Avoiding repetition of past mistakes
Promotion of inner strength to flourish
Installation of anti-verbal abuse
Living your own dream with motivation and authority on ones lips
Inspiration being drawn from the depths of self
Allowing others to march behind me
You are not motivated?
Self-pity embraces you
Self-pity moulds you
Allow yourself to blossom
Your uniqueness is rare
Only you possess that rareness
Abuse it
Use it
And you will be surprised the person you will become…

Just look at me…..

Dentistry and Reflections

The dentist and Reflections

Up there in the continuous darkness of the universe
I saw a streak of light... a dying comets last hurrah.
Bedroom very dark couldn’t sleep too much death
for one night. Got up and read an article that plants
speak to each other. “Warning a heavy footed man
is coming your way.” “Duck a lawn mower is at large.”
Amputated roses and tulips chafes in a vase kept
alive for a few days... admire beauty in death agony.
Carrots screaming in distress when pulled from soil...
good for your health, dieticians says.
Everything we like, what we eat are, hurting plants
and animals. Which, reminds me I’ve an appointment
with my dentist tomorrow, gardener of my glum teeth,
he will speak softly as he pulls up out another tooth.

Taste and Ear Buds Left With No Rest Till Grave

Chirping of birds on the balcony grill
Hot Darjeeling Tea with newspaper on day chill

Ringing of Temple bell on a calm early morning
Sweet delicacy melting in mouth without churning

Thunderous lightning sound in rainy season
Chilly flakes cracking the lips wide open

Meowing of playful cat on double bed
Sweet-N-Sour soup tingling the taste bud

Hiss of snake scaring playing poodle
Pungent sauce scouring maze of noodles

Jingle of repetitive ad between soap
Bland as dieticians dinner of soup

Inaudible whisper of dying man nearby
Gulping Bitter medicine with closed eyes

As servant to Sound and Smell, mind has to behave
Taste and Ear buds left with no rest till grave
