Did zest for life have a term until dialectal?
What comes before the numeral mystical?
Only God can discern my soul name.
He counts our hair and the sand with kame.

I grasp to worship his name as a young soul.
To be grateful and to sue God for his role.
I was raised to shimmer and shine as a juvenile.
Echoing his faith and leniency and being luminal.

I tried to be aware of the ocean's load.
It had to endure scraping at the sand.
Then spoke something in a hushed tone.
And I knew all that before, from the stone.

When the lights dim owing to the fading sun.
Ideas that once helped now steer you to stun!
When tragedy begins to veer toward standing.
Don't miss that a good mood is all you entail having.

The Fule Lord

The follies of fools
The lord of fools
The fools that are lords
a leader of the damned
Insane the minority of minions
Deplorable and disdained
Blind in the sight of kings and lords
Jester’s of old orange baboons
In golden flossy glossy wigs
Fleeting hair a top fule lords fake façade
In a flock of tweets and Nitwits
Someone said the one eye
man is lord of the blind in the land
of the blind this fool is king
Dressed in nothing but a red tie
& golden fly away sad toupee
The follies of fools a leader
of the damned doomed
And unschooled the folly of fools
the fule lord of one supreme leader to some
Blind in the sight of kings and lords
Burning Republics building empires,
finding legions of cults
a Cult of personality bleeding, pleading
Scheming at the doors of a CLOSED kingdom
tearing apart the fabric of a nation
For the keys to dominion
Someone once said the one eye man
is lord of the blind in the land
of the blind has a fool for a king
Dressed in nothing but Ignorance.
In golden flossy glossy wigs
Fleeting hair top fule lords FRACTURED façade…

Dic: fule (dialectal, chiefly Scotland) fool

English

We explore –
earn and exist –
with a language
of old exploitation.

Like a mulatto,
Indian English
is a hybrid.
It’s as our culture –
there’s a unity
in diversity.
We winnow ideas out
of dialectal chaff.

Language
mustn’t be imposed.
Linguistic
extremism is a myopia.

Wherever you grow,
your mom and hue
remain the same,
but your tongue can be
changed from the cradle.

English thrives above
creeds and colors,
connecting continents,
never demanding a passport.

Deep In The Mountain Tarns

Deep in the mountains,
  Beyond a lost road,
Mystical spirits
Have their wild abode.

Lonely abysses
Of primeval dread,
Forests were freely
the shy fairies tread.

The eagle hovers
In safety there,
With keen eyes watching
Nest and lair.

Green are those waters,
Dark as ancient bronze,
Harbors for the souls
Of dreaming swans.

Through mossy branches,
Through cavernous rifts,
Red-sun down
Cool fragrance drifts.

He who enters
That lost abode
Never more needs
A wandering road.

R. J. Lindley
