Second Assasination Attempt
In September’s blessed grass, like a slimy snake, you crawled.
To murder a beloved President, your worthless body, sprawled.
The weapon you hugged, just drooling to end an American hero’s life.
Never once thinking, of his accomplished family, nor his beautiful wife.
Coward, wretched, that you be, may you be sent to a lone hanging tree.
Friendless, choking, no remorse, as you swing in the wind deservedly!

Update..the Federal Government continues to refuse to suupply additiona security to President Trump, even though additional threats keep coming in!
NO Presidential candidate should be treated that way..shame, Mayorkas!
Even if you do not like him, to put him in harm’s way, or Kamala’s..is wrong!

All artists are frauds
most deservedly so
Escaping themselves
into something unknown
Their costumes transform
always trying to hide
The truth of their natures
— left dying inside

No need to creep in surreptitiously
as if you were not longed for
You turtlenecks and warm wool socks
are dashing in or out of doors
Sensing that I'd tired of green
your refreshments I adore
Crisp burnt-orange and fiery red
leave me thirsty for some more
Though soon you'll trade the dew for frost
replace iced tea with hot

Ecstatic their paths crossed
Kindred spirits meant to be
He found his HER
She found her HE
His evident love for her seen in his eyes
Her love for him expressed in her face
Pure intimacy and comfort
A destined encounter on this earthly place
An honest ,authentic connection
Respectful, loving souls
Laughter and warmth radiates
Humour from the same mould
Two loving and kind spirits
Sharing a life now unified
Navigating this life deservedly
Happily side by side

I've seen how mean
You treat others.
You're well known for stepping
On the necks of those
You deem beneath you.
You've conveniently forgotten
Laughing
Over many a misfortune,
Mine included.
So legendary is
Your cruel nature
And peacock-like arrogance.
You carry a baffling air
Of invincibility.
You think yourself
Infallible; better than the rest.
Or are you? Now I watch you
Slip deservedly
On a banana peel of poetic justice
With laughter
In my eyes. You hear folks
You've trampled upon clap,
And you don't like that?
Well, what did you expect?
I hate to admit
I feel no guilt or pity
For you and your troubles
As you've taught all and sundry
One true thing;
You get what you give.

On the pillow, rests my ear.
Filling with salty, joy-filled tears.
Grateful rivulets for the poetry I’ve done.
A gift from God’s only Son.
I have no picture of myself, as some
poetess divine,.
Nor in a race with anyone, to hold a trophy
that sparkles and shines.
Because my life is a proven, record of
outstanding wins.
I leave this game to others. who most
deservedly, should take a spin!

The rest of the way is easy. The flesh seems to just tear away effortlessly as you cut through the rest.
Their hands no longer grip you, for they lay on the ground before you. They kneel disheartened on the ground begging you not to walk away, for their voice is all they have left to hold on with. You stand there and let them beg you. For days, weeks, months, you let them beg. Until their voice finally wears thin. They've torn holes in their throats trying to say what they need to, to hold on to what they've fought so relentlessly for.
You can no longer hear them. You no longer feel their grip. The one who promised you that they would never let you go, finally did. They won't even whisper words of love to you anymore. How could they? They promised you! They swore they would always love you! "I knew it was all a lie!!!" You proclaim. "Everyone always gives up on me.. everyone.... even you."
You look down at the hands laying on the ground. You now justify the broken bones. The pieces were deservedly severed. "They swore they'd never let me go. At least now they can never hurt another person again."

The by-nature amiable Peter
Is now inconsolably bitter:
At a filling station, a protesting sitter
After his supplied mere one liter
For this vulgarly insulting pump attendant Rita
And threatening obscenities much fitter…
But smiling Rita didn’t away words fritter
Her sagacious silence proving the better hitter
And smoldering Peter more reasons are given to grow heady,
His long taut nerves refusing to steady:
For the ugliest fight seemingly ready,
His teeth plus his claws signaling the Deadly;
Whomever he ends up dismembering, deservedly

A Mitsubishi breezes out of the South at Seven,
The North storming at Eleven;
The driver’s continual worrying of gear five,
The tires of the machine ever roaring alive;
In pyramidal slights of screaming passengers
Now-turned doom-alerting messengers.
It’s a driver clearly going bananas,
His remarks classically proving his uncivil manners;
Kano pedestrians openly mad at him,
Now and then attacking him as a team;
Fears that he ‘d been weaponizing his journeys,
Each murder charge circumventing with bribed attorneys…
Always about spillage of blood on a coal tar,
Which he had their bills settled in a lone bar;
The other day, all the passengers dead and cold !
Driver and conductor assisting ambulance told;
Only minor injuries to driver’s finger nails
And serious injuries to conductor’s toenails.

'Foggy' location seeds were from, curiosity won
Five months later, wanderer from roof tall trellis hung
Violet globe pods were bitter but oddly addictive
Several dozen daily dose, sour juice inflicted
Soon supplied smoothie zing, purple milk vibrant
Irresistible, the youth inducing effect they provided
A year after planting, I'd positively lost ten
Face entering wrinkle free twenties again!
Friends amazed by results of youth fruit blessed
After eighteen short months, I appeared adolescent
Freely sharing my vivacious treacherous discovery
From her desirable rewinding hand, no recovery
Benjamin Button's slow motion journey ridiculed
- My eight year old routinely tucks me into bed!!

HEY DAD
My dad and I were always close,
As he passed by he’d pinch my nose,
I always looked upon him with pride,
His tender nature he could not hide.
He had many friends and no foes
He used to love teasing me
And tickling my toes!
An army man, he was most of his life,
Posted to many countries with his
Child and wife,
His stars and medals he deservedly wore,
A committed army officer to the core,
I know he’s happy
I followed my grand-fathers cue,
And quite delighted that I’m
Writing poetry too,
My father showed his love,
With his every pore,
And I know he would encourage
Me to write more, and more.
He always wanted me to join a group,
Hope he knows I am with poetry soup!

Analogous to many a flaming among
fiery roaring tongue,
poised sinned thyself to flung
maybe this equates with
emotional repression – Carl Jung
would attest deservedly, aye clung
condemned to Dante's Inferno,
searing each lung
where just moments ago, a typhoon
swept over this papa,
no longer a foo fighting
"special hero" unsung,
whose sweaty hands could
no longer grasp hold of sanity
his entire soul felt inconsolably rung
with bittersweet asphyxiated,
choking suffocating tears.
