I’m no longer a deplorable
Somehow become a fascist
At least according to those who claim
That all of us are all the same
Except, that is, the chosen few
Who really know what’s best for you
Spend your money without thanks
Lock up the sober in drunk tanks
Some claim their states are RED or BLUE
Thus, disowning half of you
Yet my mailbox is at full bloat
Beggars pleading for my vote
I dare not raise the flag too high
As passersby, offended, sigh
And wish it hidden out of sight
Its shadowed haven now a blight
I’ve never been deplorable
One time was thought – adorable
I shed a tear at Taps sad drone
For a flag that bravely flies alone

Deplorable dejection is despair.
It goes beyond mere human fear or dread.
It’s hopelessness, for which there’s no repair.
And should it cloak you (oh so hard to bear),
it's like a second skin you cannot shed.
Deplorable dejection is despair.
At times it visits youngsters (sad yet rare).
Most young folks do not have it in their head.
It’s hopelessness, for which there’s no repair.
Some bring it on themselves- caught in a snare -
with misery’s addictions they may tread.
Deplorable dejection is despair.
When caused by sheer bad luck, it’s most unfair,
for some know they are soon to end up dead.
It’s hopelessness, for which there’s no repair.
Some say to trust in prayer, but please do spare
me this. I know for certain when hope’s fled.
Deplorable dejection is despair.
It’s hopelessness, for which there’s no repair!

For Emile Pinet's Strong Emotions Poetry Contest
Emotion chosen: Despair
Rewarding bad behaviors
to me is certifiable,
however, that some school
theories are leaning
this way is pretty undeniable.
The ones who act the most horrible
are being rewarded hourly, and
winning fantastic prizes galore.
The ones who yell and scream and
act ridiculous are forcing frustrated
teachers out the door.
Today's incorrigibles are
the ones who yesteryear were
not the ones who were winning.
Yet, these days, in these great times,
these darlings are spinning,
in the hallways, on the roof,
and we are supposed to be just grinning.
Deplorable environment now, we have many
good teachers leaving schools.
Out-of-control children and their sue-happy
families are winning.
Are we a bunch of fools?
Incorrigible is not able to be corrected,
improved, or reformed.
Deplorable deserves strong condemnation
and shockingly bad in quality.
Excoriable is to censure or criticize severely
or damage or remove part of the surface
Incorrigible and Deplorable
Not only were they determined to be deplorable,
They were also of poor behavior and incorrigible;
Vocabulary poor,
And a real bore;
Enjoyed criticizing others while being excoriable.
This is a real challenge. Take three outlandish
words that rhyme and combine them together
into a poem or limerick.

Deplorable and Incorrigable
Hillary we know is always adorable;
Trump is supported by a deplorable;
Habits horrendous;
Totally stupendous;
Has become ignorant and incorrigible.

Adorable and Deplorable
If Democrats what you do is adorable
Things Republicans did were deplorable
What we received from latest briefing
A bunch of bologna beyond believing.
Them laughing was impossible completely
Democrats reacted pleasantly and sweetly
And being in White House came to a halt
All of the Republicans, it is their fault.
This sure seem to be sad and so morose
We received and then took another dose
Problem was really with each prescription
Has no longer been used due to prohibition.
Must be some other medicine we can take
Keeping our hearts from having to break
Not make fun of poor person with handicap
On them we should start applying a strap.
So this with you surely am glad to share
Must flush down toilet each orange hair
Which did appear to be drastically dumb
Was expected from a skull that is numb.
Not sure if anyone knows what a numb
skull is anymore or a gap between both
of your ears or close your hair they did
clip or maybe jump ship or you did
become a big dirty drip. Is that what
happened in Flint. If so, we are hip.
You Might be a Deplorable

You might be a deplorable
If Trump has got your ear
If you think this country needs to change
That's not in question; it's quite clear
If you don't bow to the mighty
And don't kow-tow to the rich
You might be a deplorable
Now isn't life a *****.
Looks like We the People
Cannot choose on our own terms
Must wear a ring within our nose
Regardless of the germs
I for one will choose my life
Friends not defined by class
If that doesn't meet your standards
Then you may kiss my a--
