In the shadows of a secret silent sacred place
Almighty God is dwelling, in whose essence
I find my refuge and my strength
And deliverance from the vile and toxic waste
of a world of spreading pestilence.
Under the wings of angels, I am shielded
and swiftly guided and whisked away to peace.
The terrors of the night and the violent abuses of day
Of raging psychopaths no longer reach me, they are kept at bay
For God is my continual and everlasting habitation
Here there is no evil nor plagues of violent confrontation.
I have called upon His name and he did answer me
And I am with Him always in His eternal presence in eternity.
(my version of Psalm 91)
( Homage to Emily Bronte “Spellbound”)
Although I feel the night is wrapped around me
And the tyrant descends to let in the cold
Although the pines no longer block the glare
And malignant beams enter into Morpheus’ cave
Although everything is bowed down with ice and snow
And clouds stand stationary above the waste below
Although near voices speak with insane passion
And even the cats cover their ears and run away
Although I have endured much and have overcome
And the arrogant and ignorant still reign in their fashion
Although we wait with patience for our authority
And the last farthing will soon be paid
I cannot move, I will not move, I cannot go
I cannot rise above and be no more and here.
Upside down or right side up,
which way do you turn us to fill our cup?
Born in sin, with heads in the sand,
blind to the Son, how can we see Your hand.
Only God can turn our eyes to Him,
the One He gave, causes us to be born again.
He took me and broke me from my chains,
separated from the world, now there is everything to gain.
True joy can never be found in the soil,
eyes always searching, and hearts always in toil.
Empty tanks, because of the many holes,
mending must come from the only One who knows –
What we are missing, what we all need,
Christ our Savior satisfies and sets free.
You pulled my head out from the sand,
turned me upward by Your command –
Now I can see Your glorious Light,
it is You, Lord, that brightens our day and night!
Peace was slain in the midst of mid-night
Tyrants in glee trampled the helpless ants
Music of brutal chaos reached the crescendo
Justice lay stupor, their liberty devoured
Deluge of hopelessness crumbled their homes
That once cradled fond memories of merriment
Of Christmas joy, carols, cakes, candles’ light
Their families shattered, lost to cruel night
Robbed of their dignity, they felt desolate
Hearts drowned in deep fear and vast despair
They were left with no choice but to flee
Into the frontiers unknown as refugees…
At this crossroads, undaunted they unite
Clinging to hope, they stay strong and fight
Seeking refuge in the Almighty’s might
They Topple the despots to restore their rights
To end it all with an Armageddon….
They Witness the resurrection of Peace in their land
That paves the way to the shores of deliverance!
Days beyond memory
born in perfection
Light unrefracted
teasing the sun
Time without numbers
thought unencumbered
Lost in beginnings
— never to end
(Dreamsleep: May, 2025)
Deliver me, O Lord, deliver me.
Wolves and wild animals surround me.
Doubts gnaw into my sordid soul,
anxiety, anger, and depression rule my ego.
How can I ever come to you, O Lord?
Why have you forsaken me?
I thirst for knowledge and love
but roam in sultry roads and lustful bars.
An act of hopelessness, I know,
for I am weak and weary, a wanton fool.
Breakthrough begins
Where my excuses end (1)
No reason to pretend
When given a way to amend
Division was bought
Unity is what we got
Crushing all doubt
Abba love pours out
Faith in a measure
Love is the treasure
We seek in the mystery
We praise the unseen
When tares rise in me
Collected and cast in fire
Even when I see the storm
Wheat is stored in my barn
I can’t ever imagine
I might never dream
The depth of God’s love
How much he loves me
The love that is so true
So I pour out to others

From fence to fence
From curb to fence
For all occupants
We seek Your defense
Your light projects
Your will protects
Evil spirits everywhere
I say to them to beware
The darkness will not prevail
For God‘s love will never fail
When we worship together with angels
The blood of Jesus is my divine covering
Turn around
Don’t drown
When encountering (1)
Thank you, sweet lamb of God.
Always goes with me.
And the angels that go before
And minister for us
Peace and grace fall
I’m covered by fresh fire
Unholy burns away when I’m with you.
We are loved dearly by God
You are the apple of my eye.
Hide me under the shadow of thy wings. (2)
I thirst and I am hungry.
I’m not here for blessings. (3)
I’m not here for miracles.
I need you, all I need is you.
I know my identity.
I know whose I am.
On the day of Christ Jesus
Sometimes I am weak.
God is always strong. Sometimes I doubt.
God is always faithful.
Soak in his light and inwardly we let Him in.

There certainly is no reason
For you to be afraid
I've done this many, many times
And always made the grade
I'm talking about delivering sinners
Bringing them back
Back from a sinful life
When they are redeemed
Their smiles are big and eyes are bright
An age-old dilemma,
Sages and humanity wonder aloud,
The death will get us the deliverance from the body,
But how would I set my soul free?
Scientifically the day we die, everything ends,
The ashes to ashes we meet, the life ends.
Philosophically we wonder, is there a life after death?
Whatever the soul is, would it find a refuge?
Sometimes I wonder, what should I do to get the deliverance?
Writing love poems with feet dangling in the grave, is that an answer?
Reading Holy books and visiting holy shrines, would that be the way?
Helping people and sharing their pain, would deliver my soul.
Answers people have sought for centuries,
No one has shown a clear way,
If we knew, what kind of deliverance we seek,
The soul would find its way of seeking Nirvana and peace.

darkness trembles
morning arrives on time
start eternity
"Deliverance"
The Road
leads us
down
cause ways
in our worst dreams
we never dreamt
once the course set
there is no turning back
detours buy us some time
for a very short while
the course for us
my dear, already set
hiccups conquered
over, like roadkill bumps
lessons spoken from lips
the motherload mind speaks
offering spoonfuls of sugar
sincerely, we are driven
to deliver
