Our Lord God, Jesus Christ, is well able to deliver us Q and A part one
Q How is our Lord God, Jesus Christ, well able to deliver us?
A First off, in order for Him to be able to deliver us, we must first admit that
we are sinners and powerless to both save and to rescue ourselves. Than
we are willing and able to accept His free gift of eternal life through Jesus
Christ, our blessed hope, Savior and Lord.
Q Can we hold onto our bitterness and our un-forgiveness and still be able to
receive His deliverance?
A No, first we must let go and ask Him,"to forgive us our debts as we forgive our
debts. And fully realize,"we can do all things through Him who strengthens us."
Q Will the constant 'rehashing of our same old stories' set us free from all of our
habitual sins and inequities?
A No, it will not set us free. We need to focus on being thankful and for His
deliverance. "Always remember to let gratitude be your attitude."
Q Does being unforgiving towards both our adversaries and our circumstances
hinder God?
A How is God able to forgive us and to cleanse us from all of our unrighteousness
if we are unwilling and unable to forgive others and our situations? We are tying
God's hands if we refuse to let Him "give us a clean heart and renew our spirits."
A Jesus, was only able to heal a few people in His home town of Nazareth, due
to their unbelief. Which quickly manifested into blatant hostility; caused them
to try and throw Him over a steep cliff. They were all being used as fiery darts
in the hands of Satan, our enemy, regardless of whether they were aware of it
or not.
Q Is it possible to only ask for physical deliverance without feeling the actual need
of spiritual deliverance also?
A It is true, for the longest time I asked for the physical deliverance from my
family's enemies and my own personal enemies. While having a vengeful
heart that actively sought and delivered 'my revenge.' Becoming another
prodigal daughter's of a Christian. Thus being a friary dart in the hands of the
devil and having a very violent and abusive temper. Who could deliver me from
myself? Jesus Christ, for 'he who the Son sets free is free indeed."
Q Why did I retell my passage from being in the enemies camp?
A If Jesus Christ can rescue and restore me, He can do the same thing for you!
Q How can we get our minds and thoughts focused on Him?
A Trust, Yield, Submit, Faith, Hope, Grace, Love, Grace, Forgive, Obey
