I am not sure what my last hour will look like
Although I have a fairly good idea,
As I’ve sat at many people’s side as they lived their last hour.
As the spirit starts to leave the body, the spark dulls in your eyes,
You seem to be somewhere between worlds, Talking to others that seem to be waiting but
they can’t be seen by anyone in this world. While many may think you are confused, in fact,
you are preparing to pass to the other side. These people that you are talking to
are usually family that have previously passed on. They wait to guide you into the light and
across into heaven. All people tend to experience the same near-death activity, picking a
covers and moving hands and often talking to the awaiting people. This is all very calming to
the dying person and I only hope that when my last hour is here, I hope my family is there
waiting to guide me into the light.

Slipping Away

My eyes have closed, I am slipping away don’t cry my family I am not far away.
I will see you again when your eyes close and you slip away; it is the other side
that will be our meeting place.

Their will be no more darkness or no more pain as the sun will shine upon your face.
So please my family don’t see me as I am gone’ as you should know I am not very
far away.

Will Your Anchor Hold In the Storms of Life

Sad mourners packed the church today.
Poor Davie had passed away.
A Christian and a family man.
His life never went astray.

As a boy he joined the Boys Brigade.
Twas the makings of this lad.
Still youthful nearing 70.
Which makes his passing sad.

My dad knew Davie very well.
He worked with him for years.
Talked motor cars and caravans.
Great memories bathed in tears.

We sang him favourite hymn today.
Twas "Will Your Anchor Hold"
The minister did shed a tear.
As Davie's life was told.

That strong storm of death.
Has battered on Davie's door.
The family gathered round poor Grace.
Like anchors on the floor.

They stand "Steadfast And Sure"
In these wretched days to come.
Dark days of utter hopelessness.
Will blacken out their sun.

When these anchors slowly lift.
Their lives will carry on.
They will hear him, they will see him.
They just cant believe he's gone

Shadow In the Sky

As my body lay
Footstep have long faded
Where am I
I don't see my family and friends that were on earth
But I see the onces who have past

The event was clouded over by protest
Protest are intrusion of light
It was so soft like cotton
White like white-out
Beautiful as a mockingbird

Finally realize I'm die
My family telling me you are going be okay
But what was so bad about it
I didn't missed my family who was left behind
Now I'm just another
Shadow in the Shy

My Tear Drop

one single tear had shed from my eye
all alone getting ready to die
leaving his family and leaving his friends behind
not knowing whats going to happen when he sheds from my crystal blue eye
he's alone and going to die
when he goes I will feel the stream of his body sliding away from my eye
it's just another death his family will have to a wait
all my tears will be dried up
all because one single tear has shed from my eye
