Slipping Away

My eyes have closed, I am slipping away don’t cry my family I am not far away.
I will see you again when your eyes close and you slip away; it is the other side
that will be our meeting place.

Their will be no more darkness or no more pain as the sun will shine upon your face.
So please my family don’t see me as I am gone’ as you should know I am not very
far away.

Wow this is deep and sad Cheri. Sound like a loved who is at the end of life. It is alway the people around them that seem to feel more pain than the one departing. WoW I hope this is not true cause I need more poems girl. So keep them coming. :-) of cause not. Love it
