Premium Member Happy Dar-Day

A Dar-Dar delivered, a wonderful creature,
Arriving by yak after talks with a preacher.
Wrapped up in a blanket with little instruction,
Some suction required through keenest deduction.

A Dar-Dar’s a brilliantly small woodland sprite
Instilling both fear and great gasps of delight.
But before you know it, they’ve done fully grown,
Magically producing small sprites of their own.

These Dar-Dars are likely to range far and wide;
Reports say in Utah’s where one can be spied.
October is always a time to acquaint;
They’re oft drawn to ponies all covered in paint.

Wherever you find one, it’s always the best;
The dad of a Dar-Dar is a man truly blessed.

Premium Member Der's Love In Dem Dar Computers

You know I really love my computer
Coz all my poet friends are in it!
Since the advent of the computer generation
Can't list them all, time doesn't permit

Youse guys are all so close to my heart
Each one has your own special place
From countries near and across the globe
A fabulous way to start my day

Feel all mushy with a tear in my eye
A sentimental old geezer for sure
Never before have I felt so much love
Even gentlemen have your allure

To clarify you male dudes, it's strictly platonic
So in case you get any ideas
Squish 'em right now, I only love ladies
As well as pussy cats and cheetahs

Where in the world did “cheetahs” come from
They'd sooner rip me apart, than smile
So don't try snuggling up to one of these charmers
They're not swayed by your cunning guile

Dar a Luz

Dê a luz

Desde sempre
a principal tarefa
do ser humano
é dar à luz a si mesmo.

Desde sempre
o produto
mais importante
do esforço humano
é fazer sempre
mais e mais.

Dar

Dar

Desde sempre
dar é melhor
que receber,
ainda mais
se for felicidade.

Dar felicidade
é mais nobre
do que alcançá-la
tanto quanto
fazer pela outra
mais e mais.

Dar

Dar

Empreender só
é como música
sem som,
ninguém dança.

Empreender é
ver o ponto principal;
usar aquilo o que tem
para fazer mais e mais.

Para Dar Certo

Para “dar certo”

Hoje e sempre;
na vida ou nos negócios
para um negócio
“dar certo”.

A glória do negócio
Precisa ser honrada;
a grandeza
deve ser admirada.

Para um negócio
“dar certo”.
a beleza é estimada;
e a cada pessoa
faz mais e mais.

My Guardian - For Dar

A strong, handsome spirit my guardian friend
Always by my side and ready to defend
Even if harm was not the intent
You always made clear your were in my defense
                                        We traveled along at liberty
Both smiling as you looked back at me

So ever faithful, the last of my three
Now bonded together in a lasting trinity
As in a peaceful realm he now abides
So to become my spirit guide
Guarding me well as any angel does
                                       To my sweet wonderful Dar
                                          I’m sending all my love

Ter, Ser, Dar

Ter, ser, dar

Existe o tempo em que
o objetivo é ser,
é dar,
é compartilhar,
e compromissar
é estar em acordo.

As pessoas,
nesse tempo,
colocam sorrisos nos rostos
flores no verão
e jardim nos lares.

Assim, os dias e o tempo
se transformam num oásis
de restauração moral
e até mesmo tempo de ser feliz.

Premium Member Dar-Es-Salaam Harbour

Dar harbour full of teeming life
A mass of colourful ships and boats
Radiant do your waters gleam

Each wave gently lapping the shore
Sails fluttering in the breeze

Slowly yet violently the yachts jib
As they sail and tack against the wind
Loud blast out the ships horns
As the tugs pilot them to sea or dock
And the gulls screech diving in their wakes
Many colourful dhows sail in to moor

Hot breezes on my face
As midday temperatures soar
Raising our sails we float
Bringing our bows into the wind
Out to sea we are headed
Under full sail we skim the waves
Ready for what ever adventures await

Yakky Dar

There’s a blank spot in my night tonight
a poem slipped away
The patterns and the methods used
To write to ink to play
Are sometimes way beyond the muse
Who strives to live today
The title’s there to lead me there
But whiskey flowed so fine
Yakky Dar is all that’s left
I left the rest behind
Twixt select all and copy
I must have tickled paste
And all that’s left
In sad bereft
Is clouded empty space
