a beast of a brain
bucking away
dapple grey matter
***
Polly Parrot.
I'm Polly Parrot and never quiet
some moan that I talk all day.
I says to the Ladies, causing a riot
as they don't like much what I say.
I shout, oooh-er missus
let me smear you with kisses
and they blush as they turn to say.
They turn around to locate the sound
asking Jasper the Dapple Grey Horse.
Well yes of course, nods the Dapple Grey Horse
I'll reveal all to you for a juicy red carrot.
For it was not I, was Jasper's cry
but that noisy, pesky Polly the Parrot.
dapple grey winter
dark storms brewing blizzard white
she waits with cold feet
Staple diets tainted gray
still pesticides they spray
gallops horse of dapple grey
fourth beast say, ”hell’s to pay”
as life bubbles into shape
for human illusion’s sake
two thousand twelve’s wake
Love in life is not a fake
Somber tones may meander
worldly concepts detest a new face
many old faces doth not erase
Love’s face, by perdition’s race
