Dapper coachman frog wore his top hat with star power
He travels this route regularly, always at the thirteenth hour.
His steed is a caterpillar who hails from the Bigtown Bower.
He cringes sometimes, when there is a storm or hard rain shower.

Dapper giraffe had never felt spiffy like this.
He danced a little dance around a sweet little miss.
She was a filly who gave him an appreciative eye.
He felt so dapper and handsome, he let out a sigh.
We should have bought him a suit sooner, said Dad.
When I brought it up though, he always got mad.
I think he was afraid other giraffes would make fun.
Instead they all surrounded him, I mean everyone.

Who is that? The cats-in-waiting asked Queen Cat.
“Captain Tom, don’t give him an inch of your time.”
But he was handsome, dapper, and smelled of the sea.
They sensed tuna, salmon and cod on his fur.
He was truly irresistible, so they crowded around him.
“Ladies!” Captain Tom said. “There is enough of me for everybody.”
“You are a dog,” the queen told him.
The cats-in-waiting gasped.
How dare she speak to this magnificent Tom this way.
It’s okay, the queen said with a wink, he is my brother.
That made it all better actually, and understandable too.

Steampunk cat gentleman was dressed up at nine.
Dapper, distinguished, handsome, in every way fine.
You would make a fine date for any feline.
Said my aunt Tootsie, who lived in the Rhine.
Fifty years ago, she told him, I would have made you mine.
He jumped up and ran off, without a whimper or whine.
You scared him! Said her nieces, whose faces did shine.
Tootsie smirked at her joke, feeling happy and fine.

Teddy looked sad, forlorn cold and bare
Sat on the bed with nothing to wear
So aunty got out her knitting pins
To knit Teddy some warm cosy things.
First came a jumper in shades of blue
Then some trousers, the same colour too
Also a scarf, a hat and some mitts
To please Pip, her young nephew that is.
Aunty knitted all day and all night
To please her Pip in the morning light
And to delight his Teddy bear too
They mean the world to her do those two.
Teddy looked dapper in his outfit
Pip was thrilled and gave aunty a kiss
Teddy thanked her with a cheeky wink
Aunty blushed, but she was tickled pink.

Darling Dapper Quilted Turtle goes by DQT
He is about as handsome as he has the right to be
We watch him on the rock eating flies with his tongue
He is not only dashing, he is truly lots of fun!

Dilbert Digglewink, dangly spangly gentleman frog
Was heartily hopping all around the St Louis bog
Thinking he was all this and that, in his outfit dapper.
His toes and feet flopping around like an incensed flapper.
I watched him high and I watched him low.
He moved quickly and agile, he was never slow.
The lady frogs came and batted their eyes.
One with long lashes promised him a big surprise.
He left with one, and came back with two.
Dressed to the nines, he did a fine soft shoe.
Dilbert Digglewink, the most exciting bachelor around
Is doing a dance and a song; the big run-around!

in the back seat of a van
his mother's name was Ann
His father's name was dapper dan
and little Yan had a sister named Maryanne
All together there is a 100 in the clan
They were spread all over the land some in Spokane
A couple cousins in Iran
And every year Dapper dan
would take his son dapper Yan
with some of the clan on a caravan
to visit his uncle Chan can in Japan.

Suspect Dapper Draper,
half-scammed a bank caper.
With his brother Baker,
Whose a known safe breaker.
They rode on fly paper.
To escape down a scraper.
The plans were mere vapor.
They were caught in a chaser.
Serving ten at hard labor.
Guess it would've been plainer,
If they'd read the disclaimer.
Those crazy brothers Draper..

Dapper Snowman Ed with a top hat and a whistle
Could spin and a dance of joy through a thistle.
He is so heavenly! The giggly snow-girls said.
They loved everything about this dancer, sweet Ed.
He had no idea they thought so highly of him.
But he never said bad words, and he praised all of them.
They fought over him through the January winter.
In April he melted away, into a tiny wee splinter.
The snow-girls were gone too, but it worked out okay.
They whispered into lakes and streams through April and May.
Dapper Snowman oozed into the spring water fed ground.
They were all back in place in December, dancing happily around.

Tuxedo Tom was a man who was insanely debonair.
Straight out of GQ, he had a manly, handsome flare.
The kitties in the alley were giddy beyond compare
When they smelled a whiff of Tom in the cool night air.
He did not have a big head, but he knew he was cool.
Another cat wanting to fight him was totally a fool.
Because Tuxedo Tom had been to fight-to-the-death school.
And he was not beyond scrapping with any kind of tool.
The kitties in the alley swooned when they heard his patter.
They started licking and primping, and stopped their silly chatter.
Tuxedo Tom was the goal, they would whisper through gray matter.
He batted a hundred every night; he was a terrific lovely batter.
Tuxedo Tom could be frivolous, but never cruel or mean.
He was the dapper debonair Tom, the one the world has rarely seen.
He had children up and down the alley, some were crazy, others keen.
They liked to strut beside their daddy, and his newest queen.

There once lived a man in Katchikan
His name, I believe, was Dapper Dan
He was never married
But he never tarried
He kept moving as fast as man can.

McMcBisky a gentleman terrier with exquisite tastes, too many to mention
Met up with Miss Dapper, a plain yapper at the American Terrier Convention.
Miss Dapper was instantly smitten with this refined and handsome lad.
She told everyone who would listen that she would no longer date a cad.
He has such a fine face she told anyone who would sample talk or listen.
As she talked about this provocative terrier, her eyes would truly glisten.
She talks big and bold her so-called friends said behind her back,
Sure she would scold if she head them talk this kind of smack.
Has that wonderful, kind, sweet dog, Mr. McBisky given her the boot?
We would say behind her back, asking each other with a mean hoot.
He was handsome, well-trimmed, with a butt big and bright and brown.
He may have been the best catch at the ATC and even in the whole town.
That McBisky, he is so frisky we would laugh in a silly jealous sort of way.
Being prissy poodles, were all backstabbing and petty most of the day.
Please do not scoff we were mean, my friends back then.
Most of us truly too green-minded to be Miss Dapper’s friend.
