Scottish Wildcats are listed as, critically endangered
Once found throughout Britain, now only found in northwest Scotland
living in wooded areas, near the edges of forests and shrublands
and the Scottish Wildcat is a subspecies, of the European Wildcat
Domestic cats pose a great threat, for these Scottish Wildcats
as there are very few genetically pure populations left, of this Wildcat
and deforestation has left them confined, to the Scottish Highlands
and snares and traps are have accounted for many of their deaths
Iriomote Cats are listed as, critically endangered
They are only found on, the Japanese island of Iriomote
and they inhabit, subtropical forests that cover the island
and they are a subspecies of, the Asian Leopard Cats
Iriomote Cats hunt, amphibians, fish, birds and reptiles
using the genes of their ancestors, to swim and climb trees
and they cannot retract their claws, but they do attract those flees
Their biggest threat is from vehicles, that cause a fatal impact
Iberian Lynx’s are listed as, critically endangered
and are related to the Eurasian Lynx, and are about half their size
They are only found, in the southern areas of Spain
and their habitat is forest woodlands, which is their natural domain
Their threats are, habitat loss for human development
of dams, agriculture, plantations, highways and railways
and a deadly disease, that has killed their main prey
along with humans hunting rabbits, that depletes their habitat
Soalas are listed as, critically endangered
They are found in the mountains, of Laos and Vietnam
and are known as, the Asian Unicorn by the Vietnamese
and were only discovered in 1992, as something brand new
The Soalas meaning, is “spindle horns”, in Vietnamese
and they resemble a Antelope, with a white marked face
They are a rarely seen mammal, but now they stand out to please
and they are the first new mammal, for the scientist’s database
Humans are encroaching, into the land of the Soalas territory
to deforest and build, plantations, agriculture and infrastructure
Soalas get caught in snares, that protect crops from other mammals
so let’s stop the human invasion, to protect these amazing animals
Sumatran Orangutans are listed as, critically endangered
They are found in, in the provinces of North Sumatra and Aceh
with only nine populations, that number about two hundred and fifty
but because of human populations, their numbers are not pretty
Orangutans live their lives, exclusively living among the trees
and females hardly go to ground, with males are seen there rarely
Orangutans like to hangout and eat, in the breeze of the fruit trees
with adult females cradling young, and adult males being solitary
Orangutans play a vital role, for the health of their natural forests
as they eat and dispose seeds, when they have to go to the dunny
If Orangutans become extinct, the natural forests will not look sunny
as we would lose many tree species, because of, the greed of money
Eastern Lowland Gorillas are listed as, critically endangered
They are the biggest subspecies, and are also known as Grau’s Gorilla
and they are found in Congo Basins, lowland tropical forests
but their territory has been halved, by human greed that deforests
They are most vulnerable, to human encroaching and poaching
that is even happening, in the Kahuzi-Beige National Park
Political instability and conflict, have left National Parks in neglect
and they need to eject, rebels, poachers and miners, out of their ballpark
Western Lowland Gorillas are listed as, critically endangered
and they are most numerous and widespread of all gorilla subspecies
They are found in the Congo Basin, that has been humanly disadvantaged
and they in habitat, the densest remote rainforests, for their securities
Western Lowland Gorillas, are slightly smaller than their cousins
and have a brown-grey colour, with an auburn chest that looks muscular
Significant populations exist, in isolated swamps and swampy forests
but large numbers have not protected, the Western Lowland Gorillas
Their threats are poaching and disease, strongly decimating their numbers
by more than sixty percent, in the last twenty to twenty-five years
and they are hunted for bush meat, and captured to become human pets
If all threats were removed, it will be 75 years for their numbers to improve
Sumatran Rhinos are listed as, critically endangered
and are now classified as, “functionally extinct”
as they are only seen in zoos, for their genes to be preserved
but the death of two subspecies, makes them so distinct
Sumatran Rhinos used to live, on Borneo and Sumatra islands
and are the smallest, of the living Asian Rhinos
These Rhinos have two horns, very unique to these hinterlands
and their long hair relates them to, the ancient Woolly Rhino
Poaching of Rhino horns, are sold on the black market
for medicine and ornaments, that makes them a big target
and the biggest markets, are in China and Vietnam
as the greed of money, is a worldwide human scam
Walk a mile in your own before walking in another,
Doubt not what someone appears to be hiding from undernieth their hat,
Look so fine, maybe happy,
Though on the inside, battling self pity,
Walk their shoes,
Enjoy the pain they endure,
Along with your own issues,
For under that hat in which you hide,
They see the same level of self envy.
Critically talented is he…
Watch him paint you a portrait
And design your graphics
Graphically in depth gradually
Peacefully mastering his art
His hands are designed to outline the impossible
His colors vibrant and the easel close to heart
Critically talented is he…
Take your cookbook you wrote
Remix your favorite recipes
Deliciously sweet inspirations…take notes
Delicate scents linger to the sound of destiny
Candles flicker to the sound of your melody
As the scent of his food with the melody flow through me
Critically talented is he…
Critically cookin’ and remixin’ recipes
Mending your broken easel with season
To ease your worried mind for whatever reasons
Consciously drawing a portrait of tomorrow
And giving away your borrowed and broken sorrow
Passionate he is and critically talented is he
