Hypocritically Critically Correct

Walk a mile in your own before walking in another, Doubt not what someone appears to be hiding from undernieth their hat, Look so fine, maybe happy, Though on the inside, battling self pity, Walk their shoes, Enjoy the pain they endure, Along with your own issues, For under that hat in which you hide, They see the same level of self envy.

A strongly written poem - Short but to the point - if only we could also drop our levels of self rightfulness the world would be a better place . . . : )
