She is a child of the mountains, of meadows, lakes, and seas.
A pirate queen, faerie princess, ninja warrior, consultant to a king.
Sliding into crevices others might not understand; only herself to please.
She fits in with so many; her plethora of talents of which others sing.

A bit of a pyromania, loving the reds and oranges of a gobbling fire.
A loner, and yet, with many friends. Others cannot tear themselves away
She follows her muses, writing and painting, in comfortable attire.
Her days are filled with joy, for she knows the therapeutic use of play.

She is a child of God, but not the one that hides behind a church steeple.
A spiritualist, she believes in the beauty of mystics and esoteric art
She is followed by a multitude of adoring friends, strangers, people.
A marvelous friend, a fine citizen, with a generous glowing heart.

You won’t see him arrive.
You might catch a glimpse--
a flicker of velvet,
a whisper that sounds like unfinished poetry.

He drifts between aisles,
scribbling stanzas on the backs of receipts,
leaving notes folded in teacups,
and misquoting love spells near the lip balm display.

He never applied for the job.
He just appears
right before a storm,
drops a single verse,
and vanishes before the ink dries.

We tried giving him a name tag once.
It wrote itself into a sonnet
and dissolved in moonlight.

Check back often. New employees arrive whenever the veil thins… or HR sneezes.

LONER

He's a certified loner
Very Independent
Always doing everything
Without anyone support
Without confiding in any
Due to betrayals in the past
Always focusing on personal interests.

A self consultant
Always talking to self
Many label him crazy while bullying 
From their own awareness 
They're not aware of his pains and shames
He's always consulting himself
No longer trust people with his weaknesses.

Always staying in his lane
Without any complain
Already use to the pains
Confidentially walking around 
With scars from trauma and betrayals 
He rides in solitude, a deep thinker very empathetic.

Cher Fair Queen

her face is chiseled but not hard like her father’s
Cher wears a black Stetson with a silver band
is she smoking? Is that allowed in this bar?
I note her makeup, put on by an expert hand

Has she a fashion consultant?
Because she never looked this gorgeous before
I hear she is running for fair queen
She has my vote

Never have I seen her look more beautiful
And she has always been a looker
Even as a six-year-old, I knew she was special
She turns and looks my way. Gives me a wink.

I am excited to say that I know her.
She has facets of personalities and is fun.
Cher, I hope you get queen, I think.
And she does.

Delusional

A woman quite delusional
Believes, beyond the pale,
Obama and her dad were friends
And yes, she went to Yale.

Her son’s employed at Apple
Though he’s only twelve years old
And she’s so convincing when she talks,
Some listeners are sold.

She’s flying to D.C. today
For meetings to attend
As a video consultant;
Oh, the stories never end.

Though looking normal, it is clear
Her mind is not quite right
And if any would dare challenge her,
She’s ready for a fight.

Delusions keep some going,
Though I’ll never understand
How they reach the point reality’s
So far from their command.

Miracle After Prayer

I
In a "decent" town, Ft. Beaufort, within 90km
I arrived about Seven in the morning
For much-needed cash from a Bank ATM
Who knew, the ATM took my card & "jammed"

II
Long story short, I met on roadside crosses
As arranged before Nine, the same morning
The back was closed before then, only ATM
No one to report a "robbery by ATM" to, 
So return later I did, joined 50-person line.

III
Query about cards chewed by ATM got no joy
A consultant I asked, gave me, "I don't know."
I rejoined the line, penultimate person in queue
I asked a cleaner, Viola, she took me to Unathi
All I did was sign a ledger, no ID asked, First in RSA

NOTE: IT is favor of God. I kept the prayer appointment, went back to town, got my Bank card, happily giving up my seat to an older gent.

Who Is Sychophatic

We are sycophantic T12 said, scooting closer.
Bazlit had as much in common with him as an aunt and mouse.
Annoyed she was that his hip touched hers.
Looks like you have found your love match her friend Sam said.
She was so angry, she could barely speak.

Exercise had been suggested by this eager enthusiastic team leader.
Possibly enthusiastic about her paycheck as she was a consultant.
The employees were instructed to find commonality, so their company could run more smoothly.

I had no idea you two were an item, Patty, the gossip monger said.
Bazlit wanted to slap the smirk off both of their faces.
T12 followed her all day, finishing her sentences.
Incorrectly, of course. But in a smug, all knowing way.

He really is a total ass, she said to Sam.
How did you like your match up?
Miss Knows-Everything stuck to me like a sticky trap, he replied.
Very enjoyable.

Bazlit looked at his eyes and they began to laugh.
“It is terrific that you now know who you sycophantic with,” their fake enthusiastic leader said.
By now they were clutching each other, howling.
