What falls from my eyes is dry; as crystals of a saltine
Frozen waters, be damned; I find calm in what they mean
Sweetness of their memory; form a perfections praline
Warmth of space, you're a true descendant of constantine
Thawing by infernos of thoughts; they returned to saline
With untarnished glare, I find to be a perfect sheen
Through earned tears; uncompromised understanding, can be seen

Constantine and the fiery sign

A solar halo
Sol Invictus blistering
Or the cross blazing
Burning for roman bloodshed
Who in truth was Cain scheming

St Helena

I stayed on this famous island for a little while,
fortress, prison and avant-garde Bonaparte style.
Rigged charm with antiquities slow train,
governors constitution keeping royal patriots vain.
200 years after the mysterious death of the king,
at his grave, I was wondering, ‘You poor little thing’.
Another sort of great Alexander that loves to conquer,
taken on the establishments in crisis that ponder.
Ideals of restless doomed heroes celebrated,
taken war to higher constitution elevated.

St. Helena the wife of Emperor Constantine,
went on to pilgrimage to find the sacred terrain.
Building the church of the Holy Sepulchre,
the place of Christ crucifixions culture.
Priestess of Avalon and patron saint of discoveries,
island of sacred through Christ self recoveries.
Total sovereignty and its dying destiny,
luring fatal admirations penalty.
No escaping from repeating history.

Sundays

Winter Solstice, Apollo, Sun god, Constantine had a say ...
For the first day of the week: Christian worship day
A strange connection: Sundays and SonDays For Jesus
Until Covid19 shut down half-empty churches
Do I have enough light to follow the Son anyway?

2020prayer4april

My Prayer:
JESUS, I give Praise, Thanks, Honor to You
Life is a life of SHALOM with Thee LORD
You are MY Defender, Healer, Master
You know me: I hated You through college
Then I began to teach Roman History
Yes, Constantine - not so great - helped show me
FAITH is a mysterious gift, not the head
Saul hated You - became Thy Missionary
By Thy Grace. I taste it daily, and new
Mercies come each dawn, love letters from You
We live this life in The Body by faith
Said Paul, Greek for Saul; I no longer live
But CHRIST lives in me, The Hope of Glory
I love my Hindu past, it taught me hours
Of sitting, meditating, I return
As "thanks" to Thee now. Help my Unbelief

Mortimer Adler

Like emperor Constantine
You were a convert
to Catholicism on the deathbed.
Fascinated by Thomas Acquinas

and your other heroes:
Etienne Gilson, Jacqes Maritain,
Martin D’Arcy.
You considered yourself a pagan

and wrote a book,
“How to Think About God”,
as a guide for others.
You demonstrate God as the exnihilator

and you were not involved
with mixtures of truth and error –
particularly the moral
philosophy of Kant.

Times of Deception

that's the future age of the deceiver
peace on earth,hell in heaven
it's an ancient plan
jews betrayed their religion erased ALLAH'S words and rewrote the Torah and the talmud (win, win deciet)
christians betrayed their religion accepted the continuous hammering of the Bible from constantine the pagan to james the ***,
moslems betrayed their religion ALLAH saved his Qur'an so the tampered with the practice and accepted fake sayings on their prophets tongue and raised it above Qur'an
my dear fellow human don't denounce the sole creator for the betrayal of the creation
he offered free will and warnings
these are no different religions they are all one
spirituality is the essence but not in an illiterate manner searching mortals for immortality is as ugly as can be
religion is humanity at it's best
no fancy synagogues,churches,mosques
the whole earth is worship ground
peace upon all ,all includes who still doesn't believe
you can never offer religion at the tip of your sword

Ramble

I inhale the smoke and exhale the stress...
I down another brew because it's there...
I look around at the shambles of my life...
Was your life wonderful? Was it fair?
Constantine changed the holidays, so what does Easter mean?
I wonder what classes I'd still be teaching, had it not been for that dean...
I'm rambling on a Saturday, but that's nothing new...
I wonder sometimes if you've really met me, and I wonder if I've ever met you...

Question To My Human Family

What if My son was gay? Would you lead him astray? Would you force him to believe those things that society might say? Would you be there for him on graduation day? Or would you have pushed him away, a long time ago, like you believe "HE" will on judgement day? What about YOUR ********! Is that OK? Do you dehumanize yourself in the same way? What about Your bastard child? Is That OK to say? I hate your arrogance and hypocritical way! Do you believe that "bible" was written for you in any way?? Constantine was the devil, and you choose to follow him anyway! Think for yourself and believe what they say; love is an emotion once face-to-face. Last time I checked, love conquers hate. Either include all people OR stay the hell away!

Christ Said So

All Good Sarah, yes we are meant to suffer at different levels by being
Born in special hardship places...be born an eskimo suffer the cold,
Why do u think we have pirates and con men in nigeria,?
Because of their bastard ways, a put over con man won't want to change,
I look for man like logic in our universe and think it's how it works.

As Ye sow so shall Ye reap, get resurrected on some **** heap.
When you get to pay for your crimes.
Theodora the harlot got rid of a Pope,
Put in her own in Constantinopal,
She didn't want to pay for her many bad crimes,
Reincarnation she cut out from the Christian doctrine,
Holy Roman,
Emperor Constantine did as he was told,
By the Emperors harlot ever so bold,
The Jews always looked for Elijahs return,
And John of the Baptist was he you will learn,
For Christ who has risen, said so.

Heroes Need Heroes To

So who do you look up too?
Wishing you could repeat their acts of daring do!
Dying to escape your self build shell,
Dreaming that you were like Constantine in the realm of hell.
When real life is getting you down.
Day dreaming you were Spiderman webbing up the town.
Reality the daily struggle we face.
Faster than the Flash trying to get ahead of the rat race.
Truth is stranger than fiction.
Have faith in the strength of your convictions.
Know that no matter how small we feel.
Everyone is going through their own ordeal.
So remember every day be strong.
Swimming through humanities daily throng.
Heroes they need heroes too.
You're a hero to me I know thats true.

Excuse Me, Your Majesty

Excuse Me, Your Majesty

By Elton Camp

Queen Elizabeth is always extremely clean and neat
Her hairdo, jewelry, and clothing just can’t be beat

She was at a party for her cousin, King Constantine
When a thing happened that is hardly ever to be seen

One of the guests while eating when walking around
Spilled a plate of food onto the queen’s blue gown

The food stained and made the most horrible mess
The queen hadn’t expected she’d need another dress

Then the ladies-in-waiting looked like they’d choke
When the strap on the queen’s handbag suddenly broke

But the queen her royal composure very easily maintained
Continued to enjoy the gathering with her dress all stained

Imagine the embarrassment of the one who spilled the food
The offender must have spent the rest of the party subdued

Her Royal Highness Queen Elizabeth may well be
But she can have bad days just like you and me

Premium MemberThe Battle of Milvian Bridge

An arrow pierced my beating heart
While deep in rapt repose;
Waking me from my memories
Of Milvian Bridge I suppose.

It struck straight in my aorta
Bludgeoning me to death;
Until I woke up sweetly praying
Underneath my dying breath.

I could hear the shouts of anguish
Desolation, mortal pain;
Brought upon us one and all
From our great king, Constantine.

Who came to fight Maxentious,
Roman Emperor of renown;
The lines were drawn and dies were cast:
Brave men were going down.

We forty thousand troops from Gaul
Headed straight away towards Rome;
And when we reached the River Tiber
A flaming cross was shown.

High up in the royal rafters where
The Savior rose from His grave,
Our king declared allegiance there
And Christianity was made.

While we fought like men and brothers
Bleeding buckets to the bones;
And when the fight was finally over
My thoughts returned to home.

All in my sweet slumber
While waking from this dream;
An arrow pierced my beating heart
Once again, or so it seems.
