Conceptions Poems | Examples

I AM

I am verb! Created by the divine breath,
coming from primitive events...
Essence of ethereal circumstances,
Plasma of thickening, voids
Of invisible cosmic mysteries,
juice of amalgamated conceptions!

Succinct metamorphosis of balance.
In my primitive molecule, the genesis
the core of physical-chemical reactions...
It is from the axis of me that magically spring,
The health of subterranean energies
And the phantasmagoria of utopian beings!

This Mind of Mine-

My mind is a construct
I desire to escape from it
However the routine is complete
The self hating ritual has already begun
I desperately try to block out the criticism from within
But I cannot see myself how others see me
I am trapped in the never-ending conceptions of my own mind

Words are funny

Time is a word used to understand things that have passed,
A word that could mean slow or conceptually fast,
Do you understand what that means,
Or do you grab on and fly by those pant seams,
We use words to try to make sense of things,
From cosmological couplings to New York fashion flings,
A verbal frequency somehow makes sense,
For our conceptions are learned in a past tense.

Face me NOW

[I entered this in "Choose a 2025 posted poem" by Brian Strand which was judged on 1/11/2025 at 10:45am. Thank you!]

[ “Everybody deserves a second chance!” ]

Within my existence, I’ve been burdened with low esteem
I was entangled within the ‘unconditional forgiveness’ cycle
To know my worth seemed like a mere dream
My forgiving being? My confidence had no survival

I was perpetually wronged throughout my life
Yet I pardoned those who wounded my being
Whenever I was met with strife
I absolved, my worth I was overseeing

But you’ve hurt me, beyond repair
And I know that for a fact
You shattered my conceptions, but now I’m aware
You can’t keep up this stupid act

Your expression twists into feign hurt
So fake it makes me want to laugh
You’re an idiot if you think I’m not alert
It’s too late for apologies on your behalf!

Destroy the peace
Screw the past push-over me!
Because of you, I feel my worth has decreased
You don’t deserve me, I know you agree

You’re frivolous, your words I won’t allow
So I’ll be fair, I will take this vow
You “want” to stay within my life, you ask how
It’s simple!
Face me now.

Premium MemberWhat's good for the goose, on becoming a mother

Today we celebrate Mother's Day, for those still with us and those gone away,
with hearts of gratitude we acknowledge and pray..
This current climate where state's see fit to oversee a woman's choices
and pass laws to restrict..
No one should take lightly the ending of a beating heart before an embryo is
viable and get's it's life start..
The pro-life movement has made this their cause but as of late our Supreme Court is revealing the flaws..
Passing state laws to end invitro fertilization which is pro-family.
What is their rationalization?
None of these unwanted pregnancies are "virgin" conceptions, so what
about the woman's partner, the male sperm injection?
If a woman's body can be litigated so, Viagra and Cialis is also need to go.
Our laws shouldn't set us back to the days of the Neander.
What's good for the goose is also good for the gander..

Darkened Light

He rose like a tidal wave of destruction
that was seen from west to east
By some he was seen as a light for instruction
while others thought he was a beast
His darkness would cast a mighty shadow
that was only rivaled by his light
His depth of knowledge covered the deep & shallow
illuminating all through darkened nights
Atop his head there was a shining halo
but some saw protruding horns
In their minds many conceptions would soon follow
leading to the image that was born
Many were torn by their liquid perceptions
for they were confused by what was seen
All along he had been their own reflection
a duel natured divine being

Valentines Spirit

“Her smile as captivating as a blooming rose
her eyes as dating as it shames the bluebells petals of beaus
It seemed so opposed yet I wanted to foreclose
She was the luminescence of my interceptions
As a fluorescence, she came to me in my deceptions
Enriching up my conceptions,
Yet is that all that she makes me please?
A glorious image in repeat?
Something that seems to discreet
Yet, in my reminiscence called dreams, she’s always my receptance
Yet, never seems to befall in her own conceptions
But always pleases that luminescence that burns in my inceptions
A fire that burns in her right
However, dissolves in my sight”

As Rumple in blankets,
I vegetate in unfilled torpor,
Blind enervation adrift among
Extinguished stars, among dark
Torpid galaxies where I am a stranger.
I find only dead planets, windswept and barren,
Where molecules of a distant living past
Are vaguely recalled,
And where conceptions,
Convictions all collapse.
Exhaustion is an avalanche
Making no distinction between
vacuity and repletness.
Sleep believes nothing,
Not even the animated chatter of
My dreams.

NOTE:THIS IS AN OPEN(organic) FORM VERSE using spaces&breaks without grammatical symbols ,the ' open' relies upon 'the one breath limitation' & so inherently requires the 'reader' (reciter) to input and responds thus making this enigmatic form a two way interplay & interpretatIon unique to the moment& changing according to mood is inherently variable.
