Darkened Light

He rose like a tidal wave of destruction that was seen from west to east By some he was seen as a light for instruction while others thought he was a beast His darkness would cast a mighty shadow that was only rivaled by his light His depth of knowledge covered the deep & shallow illuminating all through darkened nights Atop his head there was a shining halo but some saw protruding horns In their minds many conceptions would soon follow leading to the image that was born Many were torn by their liquid perceptions for they were confused by what was seen All along he had been their own reflection a duel natured divine being
