Words are funny

Time is a word used to understand things that have passed,
A word that could mean slow or conceptually fast,
Do you understand what that means,
Or do you grab on and fly by those pant seams,
We use words to try to make sense of things,
From cosmological couplings to New York fashion flings,
A verbal frequency somehow makes sense,
For our conceptions are learned in a past tense.

Good poem, we say "time" all the...time, but what do we mean?

Your poem plays with the abstract nature of language and time in a clever, rhythmic way. It has a conversational and philosophical tone, making the reader pause and reflect on how words shape our understanding of reality. The rhyme scheme adds a playful quality, reinforcing the theme of how language both defines and sometimes limits our perception.

I know my poetry isn't the most complex but you really understand every point I aim for! Seriously amazing! Thank you Alesia as always for your time of analysis!
