The World of Coca Cola

At the World of Coca Cola
Were mementos by the score,
All of Coke-related products,
Bottles, cans and so much more.

There were posters from the 50’s,
Coke machines and pins and toys
And collectors’ items for the drink
Most everyone enjoys.

After watching little films and
Taking quizzes just for fun,
Our last stop was in the tasting room
Before the tour was done.

There we sampled many flavors
‘Til at last we’d had enough.
I would recommend a visit,
Though I never drink the stuff!

Premium Member One Hand On the Steering Wheel, the Other Waving At the Moon

in traffic there is an accidie and weariness
and flatness and humdrum of the road
but leonard cohen helps with that
and i think about the poor north koreans
without their fix of coca cola
and the mental health of the finnish with
their billabong of coffee and caffeine flowing
out their ears and the best brand of water in china
has the biggest market reach and woodpeckers don't
get headaches because according to a
professional content provider they just don't
and speaking of the chinese
they've found a hut on the moon
some distance away from their rover; who can tell
who might be living in that hut
i look up out the windscreen at the moon
and imagine myself living in that hut
or maybe leonard cohen is living there now
and england have lost the first ashes test
and outside the hut is a scoreboard showing
australia need twenty runs to win
the hut has become a pavilion and there's plenty of
tea drinking going on
no finnish there pal
and someone shouts howssszat! across the galaxy
as asteroid 4660 nereus misses earth
as i miss childhood
it travels on and on into the depths of the saddle
of the universe

Mis Besos Saben a Coca Cola

Mis besos sabe a Coca Cola

Coca-Cola Jingle

I taste suburban bliss
On your journey to my heart
In the breath of your kiss
You whisper, “We’ll never be apart.”

A shower of living colour
The shade of the highest tower
My thirst has never known anything cooler
Your beauty holds such power

A diamond to break the ice
In your eyes I see it sparkle
On my knee begging for a yes
In your hourglass - a twinkle
You bless me with a smile
My happiness’s when you fizzle
I hold on for a cool while
It’s been a gruelling path to your bottle
When I sizzle - Always Coca Cola

Pepsi Or Coca Cola

Coke or Pepsi

An emotional obligation to a relationship is something that I find difficult
After being burned so deeply it doesn’t seem worth the risk
Then I saw you and my whole being became involved without my consultation
I breathe the same air as you and my heart flutters to know you are with me
The complicated part is that I fell in love with you without you even knowing
I cannot ever see you unless I stalk you and I don’t want it to feel like this
My emotions for a stranger I just met is astounding but never the less tremendous
I think of scenarios of us two together making love with so much urgency that we both know this is it
I just compared you to Pepsi of all other women to the real thing that’s definitely you Coca Cola am I getting a hit
But the real thing is never going to actually exist because I hide and you shine like two animals that just glimpsed.

The Casual Coca Cola

Not as arrogant as wine
Not as subtle as tea
it's suitable when you dine
it is a can of liquid glee
The casual drink for a care-free mind

John Styth Pemberton, do you know what you have done?
You invented something that is popular with everyone.
You occupation was as an Atlanta apothecary.
Whatever you cooked up in your kettle seemed contrary.
Fans of one of your recipes became a plethora.
However, none of them knows the exact formula.
What was intended as a medicine for the head,
became popular as a soft drink beverage instead.
What you were looking for was a cure for headaches.
What a strange path destiny sometimes takes.

In all the lands where different flags are unfurled,
your product can be found anywhere in the world.
It is a brown syrup with coca and cola nut extract.
Other imitators would soon get into the act.
People do not drink cola all of the time.
That is why there are beverages of lemon and lime.
Soft drinks of many other flavors exist.
The numbers of them make a very long list.
Among many fans, your product is number one.
The spot at the top will never be undone.

Coca Cola Addiction

Coca Cola Addiction

Poison to
The system
Brown sugar fizz
Sweetly sucked up refreshment
That caffeine and honey coated advertisement
Selling the taste
Momentarily
On the tongues of better life
Bitterness

The falsehood of immediacy
Instant gratification
And the better life will be
Teaching the world
To sing in perfect harmony
Sung from the screaming throats
Of hyper active children

Coca Cola addiction
Poison of
The system

Daily consumption
One in the millions
Hooked on the juice
Of a better life

Its better if it tastes so sweet
Better by design
And brainwashed imagery
Better for your children
Who want the sickly sweetness
Of its bubbly fizz
That never quenches
Their thirst
