To my complacent Ms. Crane
I am at odds my love, your comely visage has my heart rend. I struggle somewhere betwixt carnality and a fervent want of your attention. Oh! Ms. Crane, I do so labor for your love. The muse runs foolhardy across every page, and on stage I act the jester just to catch a glimpse of that sweet Southern smile. I do so aspire to taste the nectar of your kiss. All this time apart has my heart yearning, even imploring your touch. I beseech your name to stop the tribulation, to ease the travailing of my heart. My belle I don't say these things in comfort, I adamantly long for a union of our souls, and a harmony played on our heartstrings. As God is my witness, love is our destination, however our journey begins with us. I query of your heart oh misfortuned women, what perplexes your heart? What clutters your mind's thoughts? Is it I? My only desire is your happiness. I too, see happiness as my endeavor. So this leaves us at a crossroad. Shall we be a blessed union, or do we wander trodden thoroughfare?
Preemptively yours
Michael

Happily discontent, that I am, that I be
now future
happy discontent
achievable out of reach
joie de vivre bags of regrets
what I am now what I could be
love the journey are we there yet?
live in the present dream of becoming
I'm truly self made I'm reactionary, dependent
let it be, let it be, now endless mindful reflection
I’m restless, but at peace unable to sleep, daydream
I’m thankful for many things when will this nightmare end?
nothing is perfect, fully satisfies quest for perfection ruins the journey
life is an ever evolving process hit or miss, sink or swim, stuns growth
a chest full of good things in life a pile of things underachieved, undone
thankful for what I’ve got so far I want more, but I'm burdened by failures
acceptance without complacency resentful, jealous of what others have
accept that creativity makes mistakes counting failures, clutters & confounds

A moment of disbelief,
The world shifts beneath my feet,
Suspended in the space between
What was and what now is.
My mind can't catch up,
Caught in wonder, lost in doubt,
What just unfolded, I can't believe,
I’m still trying to breathe.
Joy floods my heart, it feels too pure,
A light that spills, a moment sure,
As if my soul has learned to fly,
Overflowing, reaching for the sky.
In meditation, I find my ground,
A stillness where no noise is found,
I let go of all that clutters me,
Surrendered to serenity.
Fractured sighs, broken in the fall,
A breath that carries it all—
The pain, the hope, the love, the loss,
A heart that’s paying the cost.
Fractured sighs, each one a release,
A cry for peace, a search for ease.
Letting go, I feel the weight,
Of old burdens, no longer great,
A quiet space for new to grow,
A place where healing starts to flow.
The sigh before I die,
A final exhale, slow and high,
Heavy with everything I've been,
Sweet and sorrowful within.
In fractured sighs, I breathe it in,
The pieces of what I’ve always been.
Broken, yet persistent, still alive,
In every sigh, I still survive.

still it hovers about
clutters my mind
clouding my heart so
tell me why i'm at a loss
i'm frozen transfixed
caught in time
left hanging suspended
in the limbo of not knowing
of seeking answers
of searching for a key
a key with implied powers
powers to unlock secrets
secrets that hold me back
back to places I've forgotten
forgotten yet mere dormant
its pulse still in synchronicity
in harmony with the gentle rhythm
of a melody that resonates in my heart

George was a good ole soul
a better guy you would never know
Give you the shirt off his back
and that dollar he kept in his hat
A helping hand and kind word
with George humor was always heard
Was handy and helpful with any task
and not a penny would he ever ask
Love to chat and tell those tales
successful businessman in sells
Loved his wife and tall boy
his little dogs brought him joy
Lived life large and was everyone's friend
but his mind slowly begin to leave him
A sad way in life to decline
when the past is all that clutters your mind
His eyes glazed with things long gone
sometimes life is unfair and wrong.

Depression is a shape poem
A difficult one in times of contemplation
A shape that gets you, almost in nothingness
Whispers darkness in the valley of your chest.
Where the minaret stood in the bed of the eternity
Till the very last minute, that along the way, divinity sent
Modernization knew demolishing much too well
and much too vivid in the end, to stress what it meant.
Oozing secretion dampens in cold and clutters on and on...
And we call it the pseudo-pen
That mentors to shift the shape
Straight path should be the straightest one, to be frank,
My utterance calms me there
As it does mostly, unconditionally enough
And I knew along the way, that
God is enough for any befitting pay stubs
To carve with a knife on any life, whatsoever.
Man is mortal.

heavy-footed
he tramps his
wisdom on her
renaissance carpet
she gives him
thick coffee and
sits him in a chair
far too small
he stares about
the room & talks
about nothing in
particular, but
thinking all the
time about time
she smiles and
does not understand
he clutters out
confused by her
incomprehension
stumbling over his
tears.

I need to be held
by you
so that all the stuff that clutters my brain
disappears
there's a deficit of unknown quantities
of coffee shop chats, wintery walk chats, late night tired chats, just silent gazing...
where a look, means I'm beckoned into embrace, to just be held
not because I ask
because I belong there
I want to be a missing piece of a puzzle
not an inconvenience, taking up time
but a place where time stands still but races
where what I need is given
with the words 'I need this too'
synchronicity of restorative affection
I don't know when the moment is
where we stop someone in their tracks
and they don't walk that way again
nor who is the one no longer there

Nobody owns anything,
but there are those who want to be
owners of everything...
Have employees and they conceive
they are slaves...
He who has a wife and children,
intends of their lives
be a proprietor. ..
People of that deformity clutters
human progress... !

Slaves of wages for generations
long forgotten in history’s screenplay.
Each hand for a moment has held
the torch.
The people are waiting in lines.
All toilers have resisted.
All skins have felt the blaze of blood.
The people are waiting in lines.
While trash still clutters the streets,
while starving stomachs
roam like rabid dogs.
The people are waiting in lines.
Our tears have been cleaved
and parceled,
sold like floodplain to the blind
by corporate politicians,
while the people are waiting in lines.
We are lured to live among the cushions,
to rest here where the river rises.
No markets can be called free
while hosting inequality.
The people are waiting in lines.
We medicate to escape,
numbing to the barbarization.
No economy can be called just
without democracy.
The people are waiting in lines.
We shall watch for clues.
We will know the signs.
Every torch shall rise.
The people are waiting in lines.

Try to remove clutters from house;
Studies say it causes stresses
in mind; one continues to grouse;
In time one suffers from tension.
Clutter creates a messiness;
Studies say it causes stresses
and generates unhealthiness
In time one suffers from tension.
Cunctation is tied to clutter;
Studies say it causes stresses;
Holding items causes clutter;
In time one suffers from tension.

I have no peace of mind.
The calm and balm of peace..
Where do you think I can find?
My heart is in pieces. .
Flutters in loss and langour. .
My mind..it pierces. .
Clutters in agony and anger.
No words..no voice. .
there's wobble. .there's noise
I have no peace of mind.
Where is the healer kind?
"Make your mind the mastermind
let it work behind. ..See how thoughts will bind. .
A 'masterpiece' serene will wind.
The pacemaker of your heart..
The peacemaker of your mind."

Another bump in the road
Another dream dreamt
Another goal accomplished
Another goal set in motion
Life moves at its own pace
Everyone has there own taste
While searching for their place
With no worry for the haste
That clutters this obstacle race
Until their face to face
With GODS warm embrace
Another long day ahead
Another breath of fresh air
Another second of happiness
Another moment of love
Life comes with ups and downs
But making smiles from our frowns
Will help keep both feet on these shaky grounds
While we wait for the Lords trumpets to sound
That's when we'll know our place has been found

Should the darkness come to you
where would the light shine through?
The waters are mere muddied sleuths
with lies stacked higher than any truths.
The Government rule has so much to hide
and the honest citizen is lost in the rampant tide.
Orwells 1984 comes a little late in the game
everything plays out in secrets of another name.
The darkness clutters any release
of what was once the land of democracy.
In shame I blush
as secrets lie in the hush.
Can the darkness be more dark
then Washington's blemished mark?
