One very fine day,
A mellisuga and a morpho
They were talking by the shore.
Suddenly morpho was trapped in a rope,
She asked for melli to lend a hand.
Melli lent her hands,
And morpho pushed through.
After much struggle
She pulled herself up,
But without melli's help,
Could she have done that?
I think the answer is yes,
But it would've made morpho press,
More deeper into the gland,
For it tested you, the land.
Morpho came back up,
Kept reminiscing the fall.
Melli consoled and consoled,
And morpho finally controlled.
Suddenly, the rope grabbed melli,
But when she asked morpho to lend a hand,
She still chittered her fall!
Melli was stuck,
Without a haul.
Melli cried, and cried
Her endless sufferings
Morpho didn't acknowledge,
and continued her whimpering.
Joyce Ann was unlike any other woman he had dated.
She threw new ideas to him so fast, he could barely catch them.
Had his head spinning, which was rare as he is an accountant.
His organized, plain, simple life became complicated.
She would not let him into her home after she saw his.
White walls, beige carpet, gray furniture. She laughed as she said it.
He thought this was how all houses were, but she was Bohemian.
Warning, she said when she invited him to her kitchen.
Parrots dwell in this kitchen, as did a cockatoo and two squirrels.
They were injured, she explained. I plan to release them later.
The squirrels chittered at her in an accusing way.
Or not, she said, endearing her to him even further.
His mother would never understand this one.
She was so free, spirited and wholesome.
He was shocked when his mother fell in love with her too.
I used to be a hippie back in the day, his mother said.
Chip and Dale were favorite cartoons of my sister and me.
With so much ***** and happiness, joyful they could be.
They ran around in chipmunk form and chittered away.
Making our cartoon fest much better every single Saturday.
Chip and Dale played tricks on other cartoon friends.
Their antics were silly and funny; without any mean split ends.
We laughed, tittered and chortled over these two in a funny way.
They were the highlight of our cartoon day, it was each Saturday
Will you please give some
More cashews to chew pleasure
The squirrel asked us
It moved around the tree trunk
and chittered, its tiny eyes
Sparkling, I offered two more
White nuts on my palm
Nicely it came and took them
And gave out a whining sound
Four more scampered out
Of their burrows in cool shade
A cute mug of lemonade

Egg shells litter the nests bottom
forlorn thoughts drift on the summer’s haze
the nest crushed beneath the wheel of the mower
still retained its circular form.
High in the small woods
I had created in the back yard
bird song could be heard.
The birds hidden
by the abundant foliage
chittered away.
Were they the newborn from this nest?
impossible to tell, one could hope.
So many broken nests,
so many lost children,
so much rampant neglect
and disregard
nature was a true leveler.
