Premium Member be cautious of which little bird you listen to

Be cautious of which little bird you listen to.
Some birds bring joy and delight.
They are the ones everyone wants to hear.
But they are more scarce than the negative Neds.

Negative Neds are instigators
Stirring up trouble,
sometimes telling fabulific lies
anything to stir you up.

Before you get cockeyed and crazy
remember all birds are not the same.
Some want world peace.
The others want frenzy and havoc
and they will do everything they can to aid that along.

Your blind back lacks familiarity.
Beside me you sit, chest rising,
as if you were real.

Your hand outstretched in expectation,
mine carefully curled in.
Now a sudden squeeze, so rapid a grasp.

My pale heartbeat pounding on edge,
as if your bending breath
could tip it over.

I see your once-far-away face afresh,
each line intertwined with
the plastic past.

Your mask is sloughing off the dirt of hurt.
Cautiously, I see an allusion of
a new you.

Who will I begin to become
as I timidly take in your
refreshing reflection?

Will you stay long enough
for me to someday soak up
the luster of uncovered love?

Premium Member Cautious Man

There once was a cautious weird man named Berm
He was mortally so afraid of germ
No girl did he ever kiss
Saying I won’t get sick miss
Pressed her lips with fingers, thought there’s no harm.

Suddenly Cautious

A case of pretense to a reticence?
A once brave voice could make no sentence:
A cool one-thousand–words–per-minute
Politicians pushed to The Senate,
His subject of restless focus: Tax,
For two hours on Tax, still not lax
And this Cordless Tongue would strength not Wax.
While his eyes Messages of Fear fax;
One might think he had seen steely knives,
A wish to again kiss his dear wives…

Yes, Spencer had been a talkative,
Upper and lower lips active;
An all time YOU MAY LAWYERS CONTACT
But right here and now suing for tact.

The Cautious Clown

The cautious clown
hides his
crestfallen frown
behind his
Intricate crown
of color.
Never letting
his true self
fully seep through
the cracks of
vulnerability.

Into the filthy fathoms.
When birds sit on roofs

I’m only human
known to have put
my foot in my mouth
more than a few times

it’s why I hesitate to speak up
I fear regretting things I might let out

funny thing ~ I don’t remember once
ever needing to apologize
for saying something nice

Premium Member My Child

My child…

My child newborn
	Feels earthly warmth
	My joy abounds.

My child now young
	Hears yes, no, maybe
	My sky’s the limit.

My child gains stature
	Sees viewpoints, images, illusions
	My world surrounds.

My child still cautious
	Speaks mirrored words
	My heart swoons.

My child reaches wider
	Investigates with why
	My brain electrifies.

My child examines afar
	Investigates with why
	My being sparkles.

My child now wiser
	Thinks balanced wants more
	My presence explores.

My child grows adult
	Remembers related times
	My love abounds.

Cautious About Crane In Seattle

Cautious About Crane in Seattle

In Seattle, fallen over had a tall crane;
Down below in the street does remain;
Sound air filled;
Several killed,
And luckily it never landed in fast lane.

Be Cautious and Live Your Life Carefully

Be cautious and live your life carefully
In the blink of an eye things can change
Fickle and unpredictable
You may need to stay above the range
Enjoy the journey as time passes on through
Make the best of everything that you may face
Each new day will bring another challenge
Embrace it as you travel along with grace
