Today I’m grateful for understanding
no matter what comes our way…
our happiness depends on how we deal with
those inevitable bumps in the road along the way.

Since I been here
I was never there
When the fear took control
I let it lead me on
When the face of change started haunting my dreams
I ran away
I cast it all aside
Everything I had
Everyone I love
I was the destruction
In a perfectly built life
I said so much
I cared so less
I was in the abyss of lies
Manifested by me
What a shame on me
What a waste of time for them
I created their hell
I was the devil in disguise
There was no light
Only dark
And now to this very day
It's seems the cycle will never be broken
So I will stay humble and fearless
For this is my destiny I wish to choose now
I hope you all come along for the ride
I can't promise it will be smooth
But all I can say is the bumps will be worth it all in the end.

A seagull and anhinga sit
On logs next to the pier,
Perhaps preparing for a meal,
For fish are likely here.
They do a little grooming, but
They mostly seem to sit,
Though the anhinga opens up
His mouth a little bit.
As far as the anhinga goes,
I think that’s what it is.
My Google research said so;
I am not a birding whiz.
The seagull just flapped up and flew
And left his friend behind,
Although it doesn’t seem that the
Anhinga seems to mind.
It’s lovely sitting by the water,
Which a barge just churned
And, by the way, that seagull,
Just this minute, has returned.

The itsy bitsy fighter
Went up to start his bout
Down came the pain
And knocked the fighter out
Out came the blood
And dried up on his brain
So the itsy bitsy fighter
Would never bout again

Way back in my day, moms-to-be
Wore tents which made bumps hard to see
To hide them seemed good
Discreet understood
Now snug tops let large bumps hang free!

Why did we choose “goose” bumps
Instead of “duck” bumps or “caterpillar” lumps
How about “camel”
Grrr, only two per mammal
Oh well... guess we'll stick with “goose” bumps

A crash, a bang, a whistle in the wind,
bumps in the night are a scary thing
Shadows in the bedroom fill me with dread,
is someone sitting at the end of my bed?
As the full moon rises on all hallows eve,
be wary of ghosts tugging at your sleeve.

BUMPS IN THE ROAD
Bumps in the road that I travel—
Menacing, to say the least!
Why are they there in the pathway?
I just do not have the peace!
Bumps of the past and my failures,
Bumps of some bad memory,
Bumps that some cold, callous people
Put in that pathway I see.
Bumps of my life’s daily struggles,
Some are my fault there, I know,
So on this rough road I travel,
Now long I’ve traveled it so.
I could just give up the journey
Jump off a bridge here or there,
Or other ways I could detour,
For I don’t think people care.
Then someone came there beside me
Who’s been on this road before,
He said, “The bumps are for climbing”;
I knew it was the Lord.
Strange as it seemed, now here with me
Bumps in the road I don’t mind,
For someone there is now with me,
And in His strength I can find
Courage to travel this highway,
With all its bumps on the way,
But knowing GOD’S there beside me
Helping me climb bumps each day.

Life can lead us in all directions
throw a curve we do not foresee
sometimes we go with the flow
other times we do not know
how we handle it can effect us
we could follow the curve with ease
or it can bend and twist us to our knees
sometimes fate plays a roll
takes us on a path we did not know
so as we bend and twist our way
all things have a beginning and end one day.

what kind of a fool
do you think i am
even though even
i am at court and
court my queen
phrenology by gosh
by golly since when
hitting my head at
age ten on a log
would logically
assume my future
through a feature
placed on my body
after birth so what
of my hand
i would gladly take
yours if you're giving
but these lines liken
towards words that
say and speak
of marks made before
you were born so they
must be some sort
of map but not
exactly and
hard to read signs
pointing to turn
left or turn right
making no
decisions
so i prefer
the toes to
tell what's
told and i
also
love
to suck
and lick
them as un
meltable fine
desserts

'Neath the stars...on brisk dark nights
Upon the stage... 'Neath neon lights
Remembering thoughts...of old and new
Mind-boggled sights...of Deja-vu
Watching birth...my newborn child
Watching nature's...open wild
Touching lips...a melt me kiss
Life's wonder's...heaven's bliss
Like tender movie's...(Forrest Gump's)
Beautiful things, give me...goosebumps

I get goosebumps
When I get cold
I can feel them
Rising on my arms
As the cold air circulates
They go away as
I warm up
I get goosebumps
When I’m about to walk
Into a dangerous situation
Like walking down a street
Or going into a building
They pop up on my arms
Letting me know that
Something’s not right
The closer i walk to it
The larger my goosebumps get
It gives me a cold eerie feeling
that enters my body
Giving me the creeps
