Fear still threatens, but we are no longer controlled by it.
Sirens still sing, but we are no longer enticed by them.
Hurricanes still rage, but we are no longer swept away with them.
Enemies still approach; but we are no longer threatened by them.
We are bulletproof
Your skin like leather
my bulletproof vest
inkling tubes
tuxedo of flesh
harness me
hand on chest
in between sheets
stringing me along like a kite
refrained from taking advice
whistle and jolt
the casual bubble bursts
bleeding love
and
quenching thirsts
You grabbed my heart
With your tiny wink,
That's the time of love art
When I started to think...
You are precious and cute
I wish to stand beside you...
Though you stayed as mute
My love is still fresh and new...
I searched for you in all daylight,
But you chose the dark as your favourite;
My heart kindled with your sparkling bright
Yet I couldn't reach you even with my kite...
I fell for you... it's the love on first sight;
I wish at least your tiny sight on me...
The whole world loves you to make me fright;
Lend your tiny twinkle; waiting with my aching knee...
You look brand and grand as a diamond...
No wonder you are the brightest star!
I wish you could sing to stop my heart war;
Your presence from afar is a boosting almond.
My heart is fragile and weak,
It's least coated with bulletproof...
Even if my soul parts from this mortal roof
My love would live within the air to the peak...
Corruption is nothing new
Yet its only mentioned by the few.
They work in the dark to show you the light
All they want is to stand and fight.
They've had enough of the status quo
Only the truth they try to show.
They're not concerned with race, Religion or greed
Only the elites wealth and it's greed.
Most of the time they work alone
Fighting the evil that is close to home.
But for one night a year, they'll step up a gear
November the 5th the elite really do fear.
Over one million strong earths army it be
They all look the same, what a sight to see.
For all of life they put on the cape and the mask
Something in return? They will never ask.
Superhuman they may not be
They fight for what's right, they for for you and me.
I'd like to thank each and every one
I know the struggle is rarely any fun.
Join them and you too can learn the truth
Because ideas are bulletproof.
Red and blue lights in the night
A black and white drifting on rights
Empty hearts galvanized
Open palms weaponized
Hope flushing down the drain
Flooded by spits of acid rain
Voices rise in missiles and teargas
What is being said is anyone’s guess
Retaliating at the human wall
Eyes of coins raised fists must fall
Mothers screaming, ‘In mercy’s name’
A one-way street up in flames
A cold night in the light of darkness
Lanes hold hands as a symbol of oneness
Snipers take aim from atop the roof
But the soul is bulletproof..
Bullets aimed true.
Underbelly target exposed
Lest you scent fear;
Lest you sight reluctance,
Even though time has granted armor
To deflect your shots.
Pain is no longer within
Range of your guns.
Outwardly strong,
Onward, I travel,
For I am Bulletproof.

And you can’t make a move on me
You try to shoot
But you know that I am free

Impervious to the likes of you
Bulletproof!
This time I'm bulletproof,
able to survive living
under your roof.
Bruises were the proof
of what a man you were,
this time I'm packing heat
so this time I'm bulletproof.
I'll be the quickest draw around,
only that will allow me to
sleep soundly.
I'll be bulletproof
but under my own roof
this time baby!
In case you try to join
me in bed for a little fun,
I've got a special bullet
with your name engraved
on it!
I'll be wearing my special vest,
because I know you'll be trying
your best to get
back between my legs to rest.
This time I'll be bulletproof!
