Premium MemberA Built In Clock

Dogs are smart they know
When they need a snack
Let outside in the yard
They know supper time
Their stomachs tell them
When they want to play
Or lay on the couch to rest

When it is time for sleep
When it is cheese time
With a hidden pill
When it is bed time
Barking letting them know
To go to bed early in the eve
Dogs have a built in clock
They follow every day have
Dogs have their owners trained

Rome Was Not Built In a Day

Rome wasn't built in a day

When the Romans themselves
arrived to annex Egypt claim
it for it's Empire

And seen the Pyrmaids for
the very 1st time

They had been built and
stood already

Longer than if you or i
or anyone of us present day

Went on pilgrimage to view
them today

Because in fact they would
have already been in existence

For about nearly a millennium
before

You or i or even the Roman
empire was to set foot upon

The Memphis Plateau

Where the 3 Pyrmaids of Giza

Still reside till today

The 1st and 7th Wonder
of the World

With certain of it's sectrets
still safely intact

Least of all

How they in fact

We're able to be built at all

The most intoxicating mystery

Since stepping foot on the moon

An elixir of grail proportion

Thanking you once again
Sir D.K for
posthumously bringing
this to my attention

Painting With Words Built In

A painting having an abstract background theme
Words of blend and coordination being the painting story
The word contrast being what was constructed within
Once you look at the painting your journey will begin
Words in showing the brightness of the sun
Centuries on earth living and still being among
Clouds overcasting mountains
Waterfalls dripping as shooting moving fountains
Beauty as the skies with the color of light blue
Today is a new day that one must pursue
The character in what the painting possess
One last chance to grasp and catch your breath
The feeling in how vision of the painting that is captured in words
What’s in the heart but is remembered in the mind
The painting having a touch with a very classy wine
Painting words with no need to say a word
Just observe and you will be the word in heard.

A House Built In It

Without mixing two
                                               Smelling is enough with in
                                                      A house built in it

Premium MemberRome Wasn'T Built In a Day On Cd

She wanted a great big brand new house, among brand new other things,
and just to marry and be my spouse, she wanted great big diamond rings,
So I knew what she was about, when she wanted so much bling,
it didn't take a rocket scientist to figure out, money was her thing.....

But you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, my ol' daddy use to say,
don't build bridges that burn up son, you'll need them again someday,
You're never too old to keep learnin', work hard to pay your way,
Keep a job and keep on earnin' son, ya know, Rome wasn't built in a day...

Well, she just wasn't the one for me, so she went on down the road,
and as far as I could see, she could carry her own dang load,
Yes, I'm so glad she's free, and she left my humble abode,
because she inspired this song to be, another one seeking gold,

But you can't squeeze blood from a turnip, my ol' daddy use to say,
don't build bridges that burn up son, you'll need them again someday,
You're never too old to keep learnin', work hard to pay your way,
Keep a job and keep on earnin' son, ya know, Rome wasn't built in a day.

On CD from Nashville...call 502-290-7524...if no answer...please leave message..thanks!
