inhale the world's woes
that's where the love goes
June Bugs start to fly
clouds fall from the sky
light becomes the peace
cares shrink down and cease
moments in the breeze
try to touch the trees
rays burst from the sun
melt joys into one
white doves land nearby
angels know just why
breathe out deep held love
turn to gaze above

Breathing In Glory

I am splendiferous in all my shades of blue
my eyes are like fiery Saffire;
embedded in my skull
glee does not flee from me
don't trip over my wings,
no longer in a dream,
my pupils dilate at the sound of the universe
screaming at me to be free,
I demand faith;
serenity and loyalty
you can't break the broken,
but that's a lie
because I'm no longer shattered
I flow like the sea,
breathing in glory
I dream and I dream;
lost in thought
there's nobody like me
egotistical?
Maybe you're afraid to be seen,
because if you ask me
I'm as poised as I can be,
compliment my stride
I will have everything that I need,
my bravery knows no bounds
the view from up here is breathtaking,
you know you can spread your wings;
and come and see,
I know not fragility
my battle scars make angels sing
don't believe me?
They're up there right now
listen, as their voices shake the ground,
it's beautiful, I know
it's all this peace
I've gratefully found.

Premium MemberBreathing In Spring

flash of a white fox tail
tiny itsy bitsy red lady bug
yellow dots barely showing

walnuts, acorns, mushrooms
the fey must be cheering
the woods bring a natural silence

opens to a meadow of wild flowers
queen anne’s lace in delicate white
purple asters with yellow centers

cattails next to the pond
straight as soldiers
splash of a frog

deep hoarse cough in the brush
flash of a deer’s black tail
my breathing changes

nature is my healing place
I sit in the grass
feeling the faeries watching

oooh a hoot owl
in the day time?
could anything be better?

Premium MemberBreathing In Winter At 10

Breathing in Winter at 10
David J Walker

The man on or clock radio
Said
The high will be 32 and the low
Will be 10 below
There was a chance of a blizzard
And maybe a foot of snow

As I remember
That middle day of
A cold December
Descending on the grey of a
Wednesday morning

And the voice from the radio
Warning
of the changes to come

I would dress my best to
Protect me from
The cold

as the quiet snow
Fell on us as foretold
Like a million silk parachutes
Dropping from the sky

And there in the cold
Of a schoolyard playground
Stood I
Breathing it all in

The crisp, cold air of a
Snowy winter morning at
The age of 10

Knowing I would remember
This winter day
Again
	And again

Breathing In Time

I breathe in and out in time with you

We close our eyes so we become attuned

Interconnected in everything we do

I am right here for you

I won't let you go

We both breathe deep breaths at the same time

We both synchronise into one mind

Our bodies become as one

We are unified

We connect in love

Through our meditation.

Old But Still Breathing In Life

Journey's end of the final leg of our life.
Our independence, our kids want to take away.
You do your things and just please let us do ours.
The youth think their elders are lapsing into apathy.
No longer caring about life or worldly things.
At our old age we've become world-weary.
Wrinkled and not as strong, but still breathing in life.
We have much insight and wisdom rather than ambition.
But the young are too busy to really listen to the old.
We are too tired and old to fight with our young.
Eccentric is whispered, we never felt so alone.
Apathy is part of growing old, a sadness of old age.
Our youth appears loud and frantic ordering us about.
Too much chaotic confusion is hard on our old brains.
We'd rather avoid conflicts and let harmony stay within.
We still have a full deck, we just shuffle it slower now.
All we ask from our young folks is patience and respect.
It's the sadness that takes us out not necessarily our age.

Breathing In Chaos

the crickets break the silence
of the still, dark night

the leaves stir in hushed waves
as the wind whispers past

the moon hides…
shy behind her veiled curtain,

she lets tears flow instead

no crickets chirp
the leaves weep
as the winds wail

and I—

I breathe in the chaos,
feel the cold
dampen the world
around me

but my spirit
for some reason
is refreshed

I guess
nature also needs to vent

Breathing In Dreams

By Michael J Falotico

Dreams are inhaled like rings of smoke,
then blown away into the sky.

Breathing In a New Mentality

You find yourself in a room where the walls are closing in.
Surrounding you and you're trying to find a way to escape.
You're frantic.
Blindfolded by darkness you can't see.
You're shaking straight to your core.
Losing yourself in hopelessness.
You feel like you are done for.
Break ahold of these chains.
You are in control.
Let go of what binds you.
Tear down these walls that confide you.
Breathe in.
Exhale into the cool night air.
The stars etched in the sky shine brighter than you can remember.
It's been a while since i saw that sparkle in your eye.
These are the moments where we are truly alive.
Let that cool air breathe deep into the depths of your battered soul.
Let go of those demons that took away your hope.

Breathing In Shivers

Ive no need to laugh
if your unseen
and even to breathe
would be obscene

The smell of you
taints my nights
and touching skin
my pure delight

Exquisite this love
shivers my ground
nothing could ever
resemble your sound

Rumbling laughs
vibrate to heart
trembling moments
I hoard for my part

Even in anger
a control is seen
never could you
be hurtful or mean

Sharpened diamonds
cut like glass
soft as petals
eyes drift past

Crystal the memories
you’ve gifted me
freedom of life
soul running free

Conjuring hopes
deliverer of dreams
you are the man
of fairytale realms

A strength of titans
defended the weak
honoured by many
your company they seek

Admired in whispers
shouted from love
you are the man
I always dreamed of
