Bite Your Tongue

Say something insulting, in your head and not from your mouth.
If your as straightforward as a blog and you can't care for concern...
Bite your tongue.

Eat with patience and not with more. Your teeth can hurt not just themselves but how you talk. Grind your taste to slow enjoyment but please, don't...
Bite your tongue.

And save your screams for a happy occasion that brings joy or fright. But don't give yourself away in the presence of danger. dreaded man keep silent and bite your tongue you frightened child!

My parents always told me to be careful what I say,
But I never really thought about it until now.
I suppose it’s harder on important days like today
Because it’s only once I say my wedding vows.

I’ll be standing in front of the woman to be my wife,
Hoping that she knows that I love her very much.
She’s the icing on the cake to my wonderful life.
Besides, my house really needs a woman’s touch.

Bite Your Tongue

Don't say the wrong things
Don't hurt others feelings

Just bite your tongue and
Keep your lips sealed

Don't swear
Don't be insulting
Don't use foul language

Just bite your tongue and
Keep your lips sealed
For its better to not get into an argument
Over a silly little thing that you'll regret later

BITE YOUR TONGUE ©

Tongues march forth in a wicked line---
From harvests of viciousness potent as wine….
Their stories can escalate to a viper’s bite!
Victims do retaliate in a set manner of ‘like’---
If not taught understanding and shame….
They will ‘too’ also walk bent and lame.
Bite one’s tongue a fore it splits---
And the eavesdropper is made ‘deaf’ to all words!

Bite Your Tongue

Don't say a word.
Even though you want to.
I know that was offending.
But we can't say anything.
Just do what we're used to
Bite your tongue.
You know it don't hurt much anymore.
No way it can with all the scars.
So keep it to ourself and keep moving on.
