Motherhood

When a slap brings joy
A voice cries out
Newborn girl, boy
Angels in Heaven shout

A voice cries out
Happy tears flow
Angels in Heaven shout
Trumpets in Glory blow

Happy tears flow
Breast milk fed
Trumpets in Glory blow
Gentle strokes to the head

Breast milk fed
Forever to enjoy
Gentle strokes to the head
When a slap brings joy

Tragedy of Mom

The true love of
Motherhood
is not for the weak.

They speak of the joys and the toys
But not of the lies and goodbyes.

A part of you dies with the sound of the first infant cries,
You will give it your all and they will still fall.

The true love of
Motherhood
is rather bleak.

They don’t speak of the pain of your heart to beat… outside your body,
You can’t control the breath or the death of the beauty or the beast.

You give all the love, care; always be there
Have the best intentions, but no one mentions
Dreams die because they don’t try and
none of it matters.

Holding You

A mother cradles her world,
tiny fingers curling around her own,
a heartbeat echoing in her chest,

The air is thick with wonder,
the scent of fresh beginnings,
and every glance exchanged
is a silent promise,
an unspoken vow
to guide, to nurture,
to love unconditionally.

She marvels at the fragile form,
the delicate curve of a cheek,
the soft flutter of lashes,
a universe cradled in her arms,
as if the stars had aligned
to gift her this miracle,
this profound connection,
this purest love.

In that sacred embrace,
the world outside fades,
the chaos of life quiets,
and all that exists
is the warmth of a tiny body,
the promise of tomorrows,
the journey they will walk together,
hand in hand, heart to heart.

Year of twenty fourteen changed me
 a baby with a baby
Although your cherished endlessly
Motherhood is scary

This little person
New to life
My emotions overbearing
Nurtured with a newfound
Love, protectiveness and caring

 Nothing means more to me
You really cant compare it .
A woman who im proud to be
When i become your parent

Yesterday
My son was born, distress
Gave way to Joy
From my womb into my
Arms
Godly blessing was the
Boy.

Yesterday
My son was born, blowing
Bubbles, running wild
Catch a rainbow, chase the
Wind
Wondrous wonderer was the
Child.

Yesterday
My son was born, lifting
Wings so newly grown
From my arms into the
World
Phoenix rising, on his
Own.

Yesterday
My son was born, ripping
Stabbing at my heart
From my world into his
Dreams
Mother's man-child did
Depart.

Million Dollar Question

Don gives Sarah a small cake and a red dress for her to put on and then asks her what she wants.Sarah asks to get out of the basement but Don says that
its too early for that,so Sarah asks for television but Don says she has not earnt that yet,so Sarah asks for a clock which Don agrees too. After receiving some canned foods Sarah makes a weapon out of a metal tin lid and wooden handle and attempts to attack Don with it but he disarms her with ease and then throws her against a brick wall and then stomps on her arm and then proceeds to rape her again to"teach her a lesson"Don eventually gets Sarah pregnant with his sexual assaults,so she uses a pregnancy help book to give birth to the first of her three children Marie.Don then appears later and tells her that motherhood will give her a purpose in life.A few years later Sarah gets pregnant again due to Don and is scared of having another baby so she asks Don to let her and Marie out but Don just(reacts aggressively to the comment)and goes back upstairs for family dinner.Note.Why DON reacts aggressively to the comment???

You'Re Beautiful

Memories of motherhood. I wrote this poem for my beautiful daughter, Lauryn. She was the cutest baby bear and I loved her way before we met. Big love and hugs and kisses to my angel.

You're beautiful
By Michelle Morris
16/03/2021

You're beautiful, and
You're the best part of my world;
My sun, my moon, my stars,
My every loving thought...

They put you in my arms, and
I loved you even more
Than all those months we
Shared together, as
One human, connected form...

You're beautiful,
Oh, so beautiful,
You're my heart,
My soul,
My love...

You are the infinite
Within
My infinite self,
Between the
Universe of our lives...

For you began within me, and yet
I began anew because of you...

You're beautiful, and
You're the best part of my world...

Yes, you're beautiful, and
You'll always be the best part of my world...

You're my sun,
My moon,
My stars,
My every loving thought...

Yes, you're beautiful,
Oh, so beautiful,
You're my heart,
My soul,
My love...

You are my every blessing,
Sent from God above...

Live In the Rhyme

The motherhood like the earth
Like seeds we get the birth
The fatherhood like the sky
Like birds who have forgot to fly
The brotherhood like the stars
Like hearts left with no scars
The sisterhood like the moon
Like souls sleeping in noon
The teachers like the sun
Like days all about the fun
The childhood like summer
Like all worries down in slumber

Motherhood

motherhood

is the state of being a mother

it is an all loving & all giving

all encompassing concept

of untiring mental physical & spiritual reality

& once a woman understands the concept

& is fortunate to receive & accept this vocation

because she wants to raise a family out of love

she is called upon to love & nurture that family

& to see to it her children are kept from harm

taught how to love & to be loved

educated by example on how to treat others

that they may see how they are to be treated

it is a mother’s duty to see her children become

the best they can be & to strive to be good

to become saints for God for they are flesh & blood

the flesh & blood of their parents in oneness of being

spirits & souls who are who & what they will become

every woman has this potential in spark to motherhood

not every woman is called to actually take up this cross

for it is a lifelong state one of hard work & rational love

for the state of motherhood is permanent & is constant

it is not a state to be toyed with in its truth & sincerity

all children need parents mothers are waiting in love

By giving birth you've lost much loveliness,
but thou art lovelier now in fullness.

Mother

Mother

*yoruba edition*

'Better lose the saddle than the horse'.
Every mother's voice echo these 7 words
To her child, not just out of love,
Not entirely for love but for joy.
The joy of motherhood.

This life will be hard for you
Omo mi, sugbon yio dara fun e
She assures her young child.
Nitori ti omo ko ba ni ayeye o wa ni owo iya
The pains of motherhood.

A mother is a child's guide through life.
Come, follow me, close your eyes
Think of the rose, and let us go;
She said to her child at birth.
The duty of motherhood.

Iya ni Wura!

A woman who has children, does not die.
She is a mother, in life and beyond.
Her name forever in the hearts of her children
And their children.
Her presence felt through memories when she's gone.

Every child will grow up,
Age and fade off with time.
This life cycle of ours is like a river,
It goes and comes.
But a mother's milk is priceless.

Joy of motherhood

The suckling child does find rest
Upon his mother’s chest
Where else then should he nest,
If not upon her breast?

Though at times odd, he may be a pest
With him she’s still obsessed
By his care she may be stressed
Yet, she still feels greatly blessed

During her prolonged medical quest
As barren she was being addressed
His birth, now welcomed with a fest
Her mockers she now can jest

The Mother Gene

I could not feel the happiness
That a child brings to its mother
Or an urge to love and guide them
I will leave that for the others.

I could not feel the joy or pain
That comes from motherhood
My disease could have been passed on
So I stopped it where it stood.

Never the pain of childbirth was felt
Or the joy that might have been
For in God’s wisdom He made sure
I was not given the mother gene.

In exchange He gave to me
A loving heart for all mankind
For the wonders that cover the earth
Being childless I did not mind.

What Is Love

I WONDER WHAT IS LOVE.
LOVE IS THAT YOUR REALLY NAME?
DO YOU REALLY EXIST?
I WONDER WHY THEY GAVE U THIS NAME

POEPLE ARE BUSY USING YOUR NAME CARELESS
U CAUSE MANY TROUBLES IN PEOPLE'S LIFE
YOU HAVE POWER TO CONTROL ONES HEART
TO CHOOSE WHICH ONE YOU LOVE AND WHICH
ONE U HATE

YOU HAVE POWER TO KILL,BRING DISEASES
POWER TO DESTROY SOMEONES LIFE OR CAREER
POWER TO CHANGE YOUNG GIRLS IN TO MOTHERHOOD
WITHOUT PREPARATION,ALSO TO CHANGES YOUNG BOYS
IN TO FATHERHOOD
POWER TO FORCE A LADY TO CHANGE HER ORIGINAL SURNAME
IN TO OTHER SURNAME

POWER TO USE COMBINATION OF RACES EVEN THE LAW DISAGREE
YOU BRING WONDERFUL CREATURE IN THE EARTH AND PEOPLE CELEBRITE
YOU GET IN TO SOMEONE HEART CLEAN BUT YOU LEFT DUST
WHICH IS HARD TO SWEEP IT

HERE ARE THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW LOVE
I RATHER LIVE WITHOUT YOU
THAN TO LIVE IN THE DARKNESS OF YOUR MANDNESS
IM NOT SCARD OF YOU, TO ME YOUR LIKE DOG WHICH ALWAYS BARK TO ITS SHADOW

Birth

Birth
Brings joy
Along with
Complete fatigue
You are filled with wonder
By this new life you created
As you hold your precious child in your arms
Your eyes fill-up with tears, because you have been blessed
With God's amazing gift of motherhood
You sing a lullaby so sweet
And slumber peacefully
Your lives were changed
At the time
You gave
Birth
