Holding You
A mother cradles her world,
tiny fingers curling around her own,
a heartbeat echoing in her chest,
The air is thick with wonder,
the scent of fresh beginnings,
and every glance exchanged
is a silent promise,
an unspoken vow
to guide, to nurture,
to love unconditionally.
She marvels at the fragile form,
the delicate curve of a cheek,
the soft flutter of lashes,
a universe cradled in her arms,
as if the stars had aligned
to gift her this miracle,
this profound connection,
this purest love.
In that sacred embrace,
the world outside fades,
the chaos of life quiets,
and all that exists
is the warmth of a tiny body,
the promise of tomorrows,
the journey they will walk together,
hand in hand, heart to heart.
