They tied him snugly in a noose,
and called him names to cook his goose -
chicken-hearted, bird-brained, craven.
He'd mistook a crow for a raven,
which was a crime, although
he knew a grackle from a crow.

Pleasantly
Bull headed, bird brained, chicken and foxy
From a bramble of a family tree
A lover of Cohen, Midler and Dennis Lee
Who regularly feels awe, paralyzing angst, and humility
Fearing the end of birds singing, seasons changing and liberty
Hoping to see a Purple Martin, a Gyrfalcon, and fifty

Bird Brained: A tongue twister
Poverty stricken, attired in sack
Hopeful looks forward, never looks back
Polite to the people, the rich and the poor
Doesn't want much, just enough and no more
Just the one friend that he hatched from an egg
The fellow won't steal but for bird seed he'll beg
Starving he'll suffer and thirst he'll endure
But food for his chick he will always procure
Yet once ugly, fluffy and stumbling around
Now older and strutting, the bird stands it's ground
Gratitude lacking, expecting a handout
Bird brained he may be but life he's got panned out
This human so stupid, his empathy slanted
Saw not his bird friend now took him for granted
Plucking and stuffing would gain a good meal
But eating his buddy held little appeal
Affection his bird friend returned not in kind
Just suckered this human and messed with his mind
Showed no affection, no gratitude either
Just strutted around like some feathery diva
So now I must finish this tale I have told
Of a warm hearted pauper and pet bird so cold
I'll offer a gift, for the man not the pheasant
It's the pheasant's pleasant peasant's present
ostrich swallows clock
stuck in throat, alarm goes off
bird brained ding-a-ling
Highschool years,
Not my best,
Though I easily passed any test,
I joined the chem lab,
To assist a bird brained woman,
She was rarely in the lab,
And we were rarely performing,
what we were supposed to be do'ing,
We'd mix different chemicals,
Until we got, the explosion we were brewing,
And poison gas feared us not,
We had a whole lab classroom ,
As refuge from our evil doing...
And in that lab class I'd proudly write,
On all the blackboards there,
"The "Gors" rule, we'll cream the "Cams"
And other childish drivel...
The birdbrained lab tech could
not figure out...who might be so uncivil...
Our bigggest joy was creating explosions,
For the lab tech was always gone...
The bigger, the better...
Our success measured by how many
Chem teachers ran in, to see what's up.
A challenge we always met,
We never got punished,
And thank God we killed no one,
Cause a lab full of chemicals,
And two fools with no knowledge or concerns,
Was the same as two madmen each with a gun.
