            valiant, indomitable
  conquering, ennobling, lauding
underdog, hero, behemoth, villain
   hulking, bestriding, oversizing
              massive, monster

Unshaved Beards

Puzzled eyes they keep feeding,
A crowd bigger than a political rally breeding
A dozen times a friend's had assaulted a kid
By him lifted up for a welcoming kiss
And now his jaw he has of them rid,
Punctually bestriding salons to never this miss@

Space-grabbing beards aren't a pleasure,
A vegetative chin, far from a treasure.
Man should 'farewell' bid to a losing practice
Like war wisely liquidated with Armistice.
A habitual afforestation of one's jaw
Is a transgression of some Uncomplaining Law

Makeup Artist

As for our face love of art
Should we see white of pale faces, smiles grow
Heartbeat as we dance
Circus is in town looking for the painter on a water cloud
Artist is on paper brushing the clouds
The ticket box is painted red
Circus shadows play on ahead
Bedtime of moonlight splendor
Faintly shadows on the moon
Moment of clouds bestriding earth with bright dissolve.

Baby Milk

No milk for babies

I have lost track of who is fighting whom in the overlapping endless wars
in the middle- east, but that is beside the point today.
I was standing in supermarket`s till a woman in front of me had bought
a litre of milk and now she looking for loose change.
I was amazed she looked like human dairy; she could bottle her milk
in small flasks and sell it to health freaks.
In the vastness of her bag movements, it was her husband Carlos smelling
Like the inside of a purse
I always like to take him along when shopping and know where he is and,
He has got the car keys.

The Americans have been bombing again making sure there is no milk for babies
because they want to build that pipe gas line across Afghanistan and the Taliban
or is it the Pashtuns are saying no, from my home I see for me a giant in uniform
with a belt full of bombs bestriding the world.

The Star

Risen from the blues of gloom,
The indicator of glorious boom.
Made of sterner stuff and
Seen only by eyes divined.
From the East appeared once,
All focus attracted of the wise ones.

The way rigorous and distant,
Unimaginable for weak stance.
The willing heart of flesh
Unveils the power afresh.
That which must be done,
Needs not be allowed be gone,
All the way followed by men adorned.

Can it be true of one and of others?
That a star once seen and
Followed by men,
Can again be seen and
Followed by other men.
Once it shines and is spotted,
Providence will convey men of honour,
Who, duty-bound, must pay homage.

For every generation there is,
And strive as it does,
Darkness hides him not.
Dark-hearted men merge,
Weapons at heart ready to strike.
But he shines forth with vigour,
Bestriding the globe like a new
Colossus...

The Leading Star!
