The Alphabet War

Alphabet war.........

A is for aggressor, they're the ones who start wars,
B is for breath, when a bullet takes yours.
C is for Chieftain, a great British tank,
D for the death in trenches so dank.

E for endowment that the army will give,
F for the funeral, in case you don't live.
G is for guns, that you carry around,
H for the heather, when you're dead on the ground.

I is identity, the tags round your neck,
J for the jangles, while on sentry you check.
K for the killer, with weapon in hand,
L for the love of your quiet homeland.

M for my mother, my mentor is she,
N is for nurture, what she did then for me.
O you obliterate, any foe you will see,
P for the pacifists, and for peace is their plea.

Q for the Queen, and her country they fight,
R is the rapier, aimed with optical sight.
S for the soldiers, who've been trained in the field,
T for the tanks, and the power they yield.

U the unexpected sights you will see,
V is for victory, and the love of the free.
W for the wounded, which I hope you stay clear,
X is for xenon and the chemicals we fear.

Y for the youths this poem may teach,
Z is for zenith, put your hands out and reach.

Time Never Waits...

THE ALTURNATING CURRENT IS CHANGING THE BUDDA AMPLITUDE,
WITH OUT THE ARTIFICIAL AUROMA THERE IS NO MASS OR MAGNUTUDE,
SO WE INTENCE THE THC SO THE CATALIST CHANGE THE CHEMICAL EQUATION,
TRULY BLUNTING THE AVERAGE COCKASIAN,
MAKING THE COEFFICIENT COLLISON THEORY COLLID,
REAREANGING THE CURRENT CORROSION RATE CREATING AND INCREASE IN SUASIDE,
THIS DATA DIFFACTIONS THE CONDUCTER TO BE ACUSED OF CONTROL OVER
ELECTROMAGNETIC ENERGY,
MAKING DEATH BY FALMIBILITY,
A POSSABILITY,BUT HOSSTILITY,
IS A COMMON ETHINIC PROBLEM CAUSING INTERNAL COMBUSTION,
CAUSING THE IRIS WATER MAGNETIC DOMAINS DESTRUCTION,
CREATING THE PERFIT CERUM WITH AND ISATOPE LASER MADE WITH NOBLE GAS,
THATS THE REASON WHEN IMM HIGH I BUST DOUBLE ON ASS,
MY ABILITIES FUSE WITH PURE SUBSTENCE PULLING THE REFLECTING TELOCOPE,
MY MIND CONTAINS THE SOFTWARE OF ANF ISOTOPE,
IM HIP-HOPS STRUCTUAL FORMUALA AND TRANSMUTATION,
MY AGRESSION WILL MENTALLY CHANGE THE IDEA OF TRANSFUSION CAUSING
CONSTUPATION,
CAUSE IM STUCK IN A LISTENERS MIND LIKE A VAPERIZED VIBRATION,
MAKING CHRONIC DISAPEAR UNDER VAPORIZATION,
WITHOUT CONDUCTING AN IVESTAGATION,
ON COCKS UNDER THERMAL EXPANTION,
MY SOUND QUALITY CREATES THE PERFECT CERUM,
WITHOUT THE MERCURY OR THE CALCIUM,
FUSINGOXAGEN IN THE LUNGS WITH HELIUM,
MAKING THE EYES COMPOSE NEON,
THEN THE BLOODS SUBJECT TO ARGON,
KRYPTON,
XENON,
AND RADON,
WITCH MAKES ME RARE LIKE RADUIM,
ON THE PERIOTIC TABLE WITH OUT THE MTRIC RULER,
MY FLOWS ARE COOLER,
I STICK TO MC'S LIKE A TRAIN TRACK IN THE WINTER,
WHILE THERE BEATS NEVER MOVE ME FROM THE CENTER,
SO IM RIPPIN THERE ADAMS APPLES SO THEY HAVE NO SEX-LINKED-TRAITES,
PUTTING ME ON THE STAGE AND WEAK MC'S BEHIND THE GATES,
CAUSING EMENEM AND THE REST ON THEM,
TO KILL THERE DATES,
WITCH SHOWS ME EXACTLY WHY THE DISCOVERY CHANEL STATES,
WHERE PRIMATES,
LIFE VARIATES,
BUT TIME NEVER WAITS..

Premium Member Bread Pudding Thieves

Almonds encased in hard red candy
Brandy from snow white walnuts
Collateral damage to the left front bumper of the sled
Dietary restrictions on anything considered a spice
Everything more often wins the day
Francesca left her pie though (no one will eat that)
Gluwein, go get it, we need it now
Hysterical colors spin all around me
Illicit behavior may well be tolerated though only after 10pm
Jellybeans are being shoved into orifices now
Knives are being put away for the safety of everyone here (especially Dwayde)
Lathering up all the kid's faces now to resemble tiny maniac Santas
My mother is making tea
No one will drink
Octopussy is playing in the background
Phantasmagoria bread pudding
Quickly tell me who ate all the bread pudding
Round them up and shoot them
Seriously
The only thing I ever eat is the bread pudding and everyone knows it
Unusual cravings now
Vertical with help from the wall
Waiting for someone named Misty to return from her car with her white elephant
Xenon purple body
Yuletide clopping going on inside my head
Zesty reds streak across the insides of my eyelids

Indigo

Alizarin azaleas
in the myrtle moss
where my flax feet cross
to the saffron sand,
in my magenta mind...
Beneath a cerulean sky
where the fuchsia fowl fly
to a haematic horizon
for true lavender love,
with my turquoise thoughts...
Ascending a viridian vortex
was my amaranth amour
with its vermilion vim
to your henna hands,
from my hazel heart...
Such silver sincerity
fades to xanadu xenon
as your damson dissent
shoves the taupe truth,
down my thistle throat...
Umber unanimity
in my wisteria world
has turned my crimson comfort so,
indigo.

Five Elemental Monoku

I. BISMUTH [83]
rainbow-sheened cubist castles -- silver-pink of hue

II. IODINE [53]
gunmetal grey crystals sublime -- and billow purple

III GALLIUM [31]
metallic grey and stiff -- melting in a cordial clasp

IV. HELIUM [2]
spent star-fuel -- alpha-ray remains – blimp-floater

V. RHODIUM [45]
brightly-burnished -- rarer than platinum -- dearer than gold

January 4, 2020

NOTE:
Many years ago, 1975 or so, I found a little book in the library of Pine View School in Sarasota, Florida, which contained mostly-humorous verse of an unusual sort: a quatrain each for every chemical element. (Whether the non-primordial elements were included, and whether the Rare Earth elements were treated individually or as a group, I cannot recall.) The name of the book has eluded my memory... a portmanteau or pun on "Chemistry" and "Christianity" of some sort, perhaps? I can only recall two of the quatrains; they went:

Xenon has a cross to carry,
Staying single his chief goal;
Now they've gone and made him marry!
Modern science has no soul.

and:

The melting point of Rhenium
Is high as a proscenium.
She plays the part and shrieks "Thou liest!"
When Carbon says his own is highest.

If anyone recognizes this, or could help me locate the book, I would be most sincerely grateful!

Camouflage

Army suits they wore at war.
Butterflies flying at the bar.
Change their colors like cheetahs and cats.
Dark comes i'm scared of bats.
Easy for them on hide and seek.
Find them not, i'm getting weak.
Giant trees you see in the forest.
Hidden with dangerous beast.
Iguana and giraffe are endangered species.
Jaguars are strong can't torn them into pieces.
King of animals they are lions.
Like leopards they are union.
Makes me sick, makes me confuse.
Nothing i can do makes me anxious.
On that wall a beautiful woman.
Pink and silver she's holding a fan.
Queen Elizabeth looks not for me.
Reminiscence of Helen is what i see.
Teary eyes, you can't refuse.
Unidentified, i'm confuse.
Very concealing but amazing.
With your color so exaggerating.
Xenon is weakly interacting.
You beautiful creatures get some rest.
zebras and tigers are the best.

Xenon Cry

Xenon cry, reverberator night
It's either wounded near death
Or calling out, the blurred lines
Between hurt and lonesomeness
Why it felt so cold
Like the world face, turning to its fate?
Where the ominous black pulls back its shaw
Showing us where we will all end up
Like the xenon crying out in a reverberating night

Dreamless Alphabets

DREAMLESS ALPHABETS

Aphelion my long time residence
Banished into a dreamless existence
Cannibals surround the escape routes
Diligently feeding my doubts
Eagerly anticipating my demise
Ferociously preparing for my conclusion
Gathering hippocampus, for seasoning
Hors d’oeuvres, bloody temporal lobes
Impulsive, angry, throwing away all reasoning
Jaded, crawling towards the scavengers
Knees embedded with gravel
Lesions seeping into my rib cage
Maggots, waiting at the next stage
Nightmares finally come true
Ominous my exile has been
Paralyzing everything, except fright
Quickly, carnivores begin to dance in delight
Rehearsing for the end of my rancid reality
Screaming, submitting myself as a sacrifice
Talons swoop down, and transport me
Uric acid pouring down, singeing my curls
Valedictions will just delay my final eviction
Wearily, watching, awaiting my crucifixion
Xenon, pestilent odors rise from my body
Yelping orange, yellow flames, the last seen
Zooming out of this world, to be forever free

Zues and the End

All burned, charred death
Everywhere, forever gone
Hello I joke, killed lovers
Men, nymphs
Old powers quarrel
Rest, still
Telling urgently
Venus wanes xenon
 Yearly….Zeus

Dance City Street Lights

A baby's basket
bounced two-times two.
Circled chimed towers ring
downtown beep-bop to the rhythm.
Enjoy the music; birds
fly over docks. It's the busy bouncing
great city street lights that
hit the road, shimmer in the dark.
I enjoy watching you dance to the music,
June. The jungle summer parties
kaput from hard rain last summer and were
laden with children screaming
"Mommy, I can't find you."
Nothing stops your dancing. You're
oblivious unless the music stops. I
pace the streets of the city's heart and
quadruple the center of the streets core, two-times-ten
ready to run, run when I know it's your
sassy sway from side to side 'till you
turn in his arms, a fall light as yogurt. It's
undeniable that this baby's basket can bounce, bounce, bounce, so
vulnerable to the splitting of the wood and the crying of the child's
watery mucus clogs her throat and all you hear is wah, wah, wah when
Xenon cries, like cheese cloth dipped in chocolate; hard to hear the
yelling when all you comprehend are feet tapping and music moving all around like
zig, zag, zook until you collapse, cause all you knew was dance, dance, dance.

Shadow Rock

Where the waves break
And sea foam rises
The crisp sound of the ocean
Echoes in the cavernous openings
Of private oceanside caves.
Waters rise and recede
As time passes through.
Sunlit moments slightly shaded
By rock shadows floating by.
Caressed by tropical breezes,
Spritzed in salt waters,
My soul is peacefully content
In this wide open space
Where the skies and water kiss
The infinite horizon,
And the message recording says:
“We’re sorry but the person
You’re trying to reach has been
Temporarily disconnected
From the outside world,
If you think you’ve reached
This message in error,
Please try again later and
Thank you for calling.”
The day ages ever so slightly
As hues of red, orange and yellow
Lay upon the ocean surface.
The rock’s peaks and
The cave’s light begin to dissipate
Giving way to their nightly rest time.
The sun and moon
Will relieve each other’s posts.
The tide is rising at Shadow Rock
As the ocean slowly takes a breath.
Inhaling the cool night air
The ocean and sky darken to
The last color of the spectrum.
The moon brightens to a
Xenon white night light
To highlight the crests of waves
As they race to and from
The land’s edge.
Only to exhale at daybreak, it
Gives the caves back
Their illuminations
As its echoes sing a morning lullaby.
Caressed by tropical breezes,
Spritzed in salt waters,
My soul is peacefully content
In this wide open space
Where the skies and water kiss
The infinite horizon,
Shadow Rock regains its namesake
As calls remain unanswered.
At least for now.

Key West Resembles a Desert

A luminous sun steadily glaring
Becomes a phenomenal scene
Can blind the observer's eyes
Diffusing its light very quickly
Effulgent as a winter's moon
Fascinating as the calmest sea
Grand illusion of the unreachable Paradise
Herald of the unconquerable skies
Image of the painter's mind
Jocular clouds turning gold
Key West resembles a desert
Lambent dense buckwheat
Masterpiece of His handiwork
Nascent serenity exalted by bells
October's imminent farewell
Piercing the peace of a perfect morning
Quotidian prayer recited by the fisherman
Ravishing his sincere soul
Satisfying the unwavering belief
Tending to instill more faith
Unimpeachable as integrity
Veracious as Christ himself
Wayward as untamed wind
xenon turning to sweet aroma
Yellow bay guarded by black rocks
Zenith's color is tangerine not blue

Premium Member Collaboration By the Two of Me

A tapestry lay in an ancient sun,
Basking neath a ventrous day yet unspun,

Colorful hues of ocher and saffron,
Draws aqueous fumes that moist production,

Every eye, blossom, unhatched egg, greet, opens,
Fortuitous bounty spreads emotions,

Gathered, skins, feathers, and scales, 'bout all strewn,
Harken a flightless prayerful dove a tune,

Invocates breaths to cite a liturgy,
Jolts loose a cloak of boundless energy,

Kingpin meanders its righteous release,
Lifts a poised sky veiled like an altar piece,

Mirrored echoes o'er a restless domain,
Naked beings wild, nay wear traps of vain,

Oaths show side-by-side, generating warmths,
Pleasant touch between life, light and air, calms,

Qat leaves pools a creeks hold, stirs brew a tea,
Raven espies to hover, pecks a spree,

Symmetry fulfills in a baseless realm,
Tenacious wanton rhapsody days' whelm,

Universe descendants be a joint trust,
Vast spectered spectrums spirals to adjust,

Webbed stars a new sky, quietude abound,
Xenon fades into a nulled swarty crowned,

Yielding yawns, surrenders lids to be froze,
Zzz's orchestrates descents towards a lulled doze.
