"my Favorite Wrestler Is the Undertaker!!!"

My favorite wrestler is the Undertaker
He's the real deal never a faker
And a awesome casket maker
Also a soul taker
He doesn't mind giving a powerful choke slam
Without saying thank you maim
High in the air he delivers the last ride
And he's known world wide
He don't care about making his opponent tap out
By showing them what he's all about
And with that devastating pile-driver
There are very few survivals
He's well known as Dead-Man walking
Does alot more fighting than he does talking
6'7 in height he's a bad man
And I'll always be his #1 fan
He's on his way to the Royal Rumble
And his opponent will crumble.

Theme For a Wrestler

The crushed carapace
Adoring the hard back of crab
Let my back
Forever float a space
No matter the dingy space
And the hot stream of the teeming crowd
And at the heart of the groove and thicket
Fresh fronds will arise
Like the new bride
To kiss the morning sky
Fresh leaves with caress the sun
No matter the boulder thickness of my rival’s muscles
Thr bristling anger of his biceps and triceps
My bank shall not kiss the earth
No matter the mangrove depth of the swamp
Epithets shall wave at the sky
Before dusk
It is the battle rhythm of the valorous wrestler
In the jungle of earth battles

Wrestler Bill

When you're 18 and young and you are looking for something to do...
Then wrestling with a bear might appeal to you.

The challenge was given and accepted by three...
But wrestling with a bear doesn't appeal to me.

Each year the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo provides many a thrill...
But there is a special memory for one named Bill.

Some ride bulls and others a bucking horse...
But still others pursue a different course.

When the challenge was given he said o.k....
And then Bill found out that wrestling a bear is not child's play.

Very few people have ever wrestled a bear...
But in 1970 at the Heart of Texas Fair and Rodeo you would
have seen Bill if you were there.

Bill now sings in the choir and is a great Christian too...
And he loves to share memories about the crazy things he used to do.

Wrestler Bill has put bear wrestling on hold...
But he fondly remember be a teenager and trying to act bold.

Ex-Wrestler In a Nursing Home

.

Boulder shoulders, bursting biceps,
                terrifying to see,
A menacing mountain of a man, well,
                 he used to be.
He would brutally barrel through each
          frightened, fleeing foe.
Many still fear him so, although that
            was long, long ago.

Now, from beneath the bony, bushy
         brows of his frayed face,
He casts a ghostly gaze at his veins,
            I.V. needles in place.
His shrunken, skeletal frame sinks
           stolid in the stretcher.
His skin, the tinge and touch of the back
           of a peeled wallpaper.

Here he must wait and wilt away the weeks
                    till the end arrives.
Behind this nursing home's closed doors hide
                closing and closed lives.

Bawdy Wrestler

There once was a wrestler called Patrice
Who gobbled food till he was obese;
Though round and full his tummy
He overate pork yummy-
And beat rivals licking their oiled grease.

Pepper Perished

Lung cancer ended his life, that's a terrible thing to go through.
He starred as the bully who beat up Clark Kent in "Superman II".
In 1977, he starred in "Martinelli, Outside Man".
During that same year, he also starred in "The November Plan".
He guest-starred as a minister in "The Good Guys".
It's always sad and tragic when such a person dies.
Because of cancer, he's no longer alive.
He died in 2022 at the age of eighty-five.
He starred in "Evil Altar" and "The Over-The-Hill Gang Rides Again".
He was both a wrestler and an actor and his name was Pepper Martin.

[Dedicated to Pepper Martin (1936-2022) who died on March 18, 2022]

Premium Member A Wrestler Named Billy

There once was a wrestler named Billy.
His technique was naturally silly.
He grabbed them all up
By their don’t touch me cup
He was killed by my mean cousin Willy

A Wrestler In a Dress

Sitting at the keybored
symbols mired in my head,
lacking inspiration, filled with exasperation,
I think that I'll just crawl on back to bed.

Images of castles and damsels in distress
are not forthcoming, would be quite becoming,
right now I'd take a wrestler in a dress.

A wrestler in a dress, now THERE'S an image,
something to pique my poor beleaguered brain!
he sports a tutu quite delectable,
not at all prim and respectable,
and not at all neglectable,

I'm finally on a roll!

Dearest Wrestler

I sit ther by the mat

Watch when you get a coach's pat

coach's pat on the back

You did so well

You got 3rd place

I waited for the ring of the bell

Waiting to see your face

One last time before i have to leave

out of nowhere, i couldn't believe

There you were once again

In front of the mat

I still cant believe you choose me over jess

Quick before he pins you flat

I'll watch as you go on to win

And my world begins to spin and spin

As i watch you get high on adrenaline

And pin him flat

Flat on his back

The Fam

Mu uncle Franklin
was a pro wrestler.
He lit up a room
like Nikola Tesla.

My aunt Judy
was a cake maker.
Her cakes were tall
like an LA Laker.

My brother Steve
played video games
-until my mom Kate
called him names.

Kate, to her credit
was a fine, fine artist.
But with brains, forget it.
I am the smartest.

THE WRESTLER

The wrestler walks out
Strutting with pride
When he reached his opponent
He turned his head
To the opposite side

THE ROCK

The Rock is the best wrestler around
Dwayne Johnson is never going down
Rock bottom not once but twice
Right then he was being nice
He'll always stand his ground

WRESTLER WITH TIME

I
the waves glisten in the moonlight
and there stands the wrestler with time.
trying to grasp the concept of youth
his being is like a grain of sand
underneath the san clemente skies.
the cedar aroma drifts from the end of the pier
and into a starry night
of which lays out to him the map of
the past, the present, and the future.
beauty etched into the universe
for as long as the earth spins —
the wrestler with time.
old houses scatter shorelines near
and far beyond the bend.
there’s a soft passing of a train
and the sounds begin to blend.
it seems to sweep him off his feet
and set his caged soul free —
he is the wrestler with time.
the fishermen with their buckets
pack up and disappear
under the dim glow
of scarcely placed lamp posts.
as he glances over to his wrist,
laces dangling over tower thirteen.
it is there where the wrestler with time
seeks for understanding of why
youth fades and one’s
appreciation of beauty changes
as the days go by.
