The Ambiguous Voter

Be cold or hot
with the faith you’ve got,
The lukewarm are headed south.
He vomits them from His mouth.
Be careful at whose table you eat;
if His Word is not welcome,
shake their dust from your feet.

A presidential pick
A thorn’s poisonous prick
in the back side
of the true Catholic.

True Christians carry the weight
of his obvious religious hate.
Backed by his Trojan ponies;
picked, power hungry cronies.

This administration
is an abomination.
An ongoing constitutional heist,
led by an obvious Anti Christ.

He delegates his power
like a golden shower,
sucked in by political porcelain receivers,
vortexing power hungry deceivers.

He laughs as he sees them scramble,
for the crumbs of power he drops,
while he tears up the preamble
And reads his own minion props.

Even Christian voters, whose rights he destroys,
vote for him and his wily ploys.
The dark side and ignorance reigns supreme,
as they hypnotically vote to kill ,
their own American dream.

The Informed Voter

Oxymoron of the day: Politically Correct

“Hi, I’m Carl Palmer and I approve of this poem.”

The Informed Voter

Donald Trump called, knew my name,
called me Carl, left a message, I wasn’t home.
Hillary Clinton called, knew my name, called
me Carl, left a message, I wasn’t home, darn.

Excited that so many candidates want my vote
who sent me mail, filled my box, I read it all.
Thrilled my yard is decorated with free signs
from both democrat and that other party as well.

Befuddled am I by the newspaper articles and letters
to the editor changing my mind over and again,
confused by the television ad contradicting the
commercial just aired by the opposing opponent.

Tediously taking notes while listening to talk radio
refuting facts from previous pundits interrupted
by my ever ringing doorbell announcing another
concerned citizen soliciting suggested suffrage.

Today is Monday, I still don’t know how I’ll vote,
who best represents my interests, cares about me.
I’m just thankful that tomorrow it’ll all be over
at least until Wednesday when the recounts begin.

Absentee Voter

N ow that the Mid-Term Elections are near
O ne of the things that we always hear
N ot one of the candidates will give his agenda
E ach one flings mud that could stick on my fender.

O h, how I wish that our process was different
F or electing those representatives who are significant.

T hough I am not enthralled by the prospect
H ere in my own way I must interject...
E lections are only won when people vote with intellect.

A ccording to most of the talking heads we hear
B oth parties have candidates of which we should have no fear.
O nly the candidates will tell you that they get a bad rap
V ery often, however, the voter is the sap ~ Yet,
E ach one of us must vote his conscience...like I just did!

Letter To Kenyan Voter

I quit
I throw my hands down
and sit, sometimes

they called for reconciliation without
 justice
They called for justice without
truth
Now they ask for prayer without
confession, umpteenth,
it chafes

 Has dishonesty made you inadequate
to let go the desecration
infringement
negligence
graft
shame of these violations
which bake violence?

Yet another fifth year
our memo calls us to speak

See how they dance
under a canopy of placards
and a forest of words,
a crescendo of noise,
call for peace without unity
hunger hugs not a belching belly
wretchedness forever at
enmity with riches

Fellow man,
the weight been
long and heavy
Le band's gang led
they have a dance,
You got a date, a dicot
conscience, chagrin
It's about time you made
love to your country!

Take a big deep
cast your ballot for
broken toe nails
parched throats
unattended sick
the illiterate
the young dead
wrinkled bellies
and running stomachs

Bow not unto any creed,
tongue, but go forth
eyes closed
and spit into the storm
Puaaah!

Voter Registration Without Hesitation

Voter Registration Without Hesitation

Did not wait or hesitate to registrate
And then to vote will never be late
Democratic Party me they did invite
Temptation off won't have to fight
Hillary won which was so great.

Wouldn't it really be devine
If we were to have a voter sign
So to vote we did know where
All of us there they did take care
Voters started forming long line.

Early voter may want to be
It is so easy and all for free
Check to see if name on list
And hope we had not missed
Civic duty you do start to see.

Voter Discount

One-third off,
sixty-six percent marked down quality
At the voting booth bazaar,
base gypsy thoughts are belly dancing
around your capitalist-veiled head
You like what that smiling politician said;
promising you a lot of green bread,
come get your lying share
Saying you gon have so many job offers,
corporate courting you to their employment bed
Every four years,
work is always
glamour sold as being so sexy
Balaam’s mule is shaking his hemorrhaging head
Dire diagnosis: Voter apoplexy, I’m afraid —
campaign promises are clinging on life support
State of emergency inaugural arrival,
listen to what the Surgeon General said:
Democracy is flatlining ... ‘bout to go brain dead
And the lobbyist mortician merchants are free-market shilling:
Get the funeral voter discount,
an ivory coffin is life insurance tax-cut pre-paid
Vote for the wizard you do know ...
follow the Oz path to perdition,
where yellow bricks of cruel compassion are laid

A Non-Voter Asks

Educated derelicts,
Professor of fools,
Scholars of crap,
Leaders that moo;

What is then intellect,
If honor is your weight in gold?
Such mineral torch can test,
Molten like poo.

Premium Member Bedfellow of Fate

Destiny, I’d say, is the bedfellow of fate
Wedded they walk in undisclosed ways,
Suspense of mystery their kindred trait
As to our country, the outcome of late
Every politician trying to accommodate,
Depending on how the electorate sways
Destiny, I’d say, is the bedfellow of fate
Wedded they walk in undisclosed ways.

A Plea From a Disgruntled Voter

(Or Please God, Let It Be November 7th)

Dear senators, congressmen
Please hear my plea.
Your phone calls and commercials
Mean nothing to me.

Your muck-raking and mud-slinging
Go from night until noon.
This election could never
Be over too soon

Please understand, I've made my decision.
I don't need your e-mail or phone inquisition.

So please can we just stop the attacks
And go give each other a pat on the back.

Premium Member Dominion Vs the Voter

~I have to wonder what it's like.~
         ........
After all, I live in a world so twisted.
Where wrong is right, and right is so ineffably misted.

Where destruction of cities is a daily habit.
By Socialiist and Antifa, with less brains than wild rabbits.

When our great Republic may indeed fall,
Crushed by the diabolical Dominion's Wall.

And the brainwashed world,ah yes, they think it's fine.
They hate America with its freedoms and republic sunshine!

                        ~God keep us totally free~
When votes are but trash,America cannot be!

From An Alabama Voter To Donald Trump

Said Forrest Gump
To Donald Trump:
"Do ya think I'm a chump?
Crazy is as crazy does
I'd never vote for such a scuzz"

Without a Voice the Non Voter

“I don’t believe it matters if I vote,” those are your exact words and
that’s an exact quote.
Many have died for you to have that right; their diligence and
sacrifices helped win the fight.
If you don’t vote how can you complain? You vent about the
political system but it’s all in vain.
You say: “they don’t really care about us!” Electing someone who does
is what we need to discuss.
What if half our voices were never heard? It would be just as sad if
it was only one third.
You say that you don’t like the candidate, but by not voting you have
sealed your own fate.
It’s not whether the candidate has your approval; if they ignore the
issues voting can force their removal.
Homelessness, hopelessness and so much despair; we all can agree
that the system’s unfair.
Our situation isn’t going to change over night, but your voice must
be heard so exercise your right!
It’s called a right but it’s more like an obligation; how else will they
hear about all of our frustration?
By simply voting we can empower our community; there is strength
in numbers so there has to be unity.
“Keep hope alive” says Reverend Jesse Jackson; our fight is not over
it has only just begun.
Voting helps us to keep hope alive; all we want is for our
families to thrive
If you don’t vote you are “without a voice,” become a voter there is no
other choice!

Voter Versus Counter

Voter Versus Counter

By Stalin, Lenin and Putin

always never who
that will have cast their ballot
but who does count them

horror and hectic
trump surely is pathetic
creates much static

do have much disgust
loser trump if full of lust
who we never trust

being endearing
not here and disappearing
which we were fearing

do have desire
to prepare much satire
that should inspire

can always make choice
of what we will often voice
be right and rejoice

Alligator Who Lived on Equator

an alligator
liked living on equator
truly trump hater

presume that prices
always part of a crisis
surely suffices

must be admitting
puzzle parts started fitting
so am not quitting

together putting
puzzle parts that are fitting
never quitting

Latest fads.

spoiled child sparing rod
while trump will think he is God
lied committing fraud

had hit below belt
and what was latest result
a total insult

when votes were compiled
by trump we had been beguiled
suspicious and smiled

trump has been a threat
causing us to be upset
fret with much regret

Swinging Voter

Swinger voter

Swing voter are you what?
Swallow the brainwash, surely not,
Change your vote support the master?
want’s dollars from your sweat , “their-after,”
Cos it’s only true, money for the few,
Stinking rich “here-after “?!?

Newspaper lies, owned by the master,
Brainwash you, complete the plaster,
Who do you support, yes you ?
What are ya gonna do?
Vote 4 the rich, it’s your disaster,
But you knew?

Premium Member Does Polly Scientist Want a Cracker

If one really cares
They can approach their local Mayor
To ask them a question on a Greek organization hazing dare
Either walking through the outdoor mall
Or in a bathroom stall
Yes in the can!
A citizen can make a stand
While dropping a their flap
Making sure the Mayor knows where things are at
It is the people’s right when seeing a community official in sight
To let them know of their plight
But does a person have the access?
When political leaders deal with the masses?
Or are they dependent on the business suit oriented reporter
Doing the information recording
As for getting on the press list
Powers that be should insist
Issues be dealt with and not dismissed
Maturity comes handling a situation
And experience defines this exercise as a professional position
Understanding about the communication flow
Does not depend on who you know
If an important subject needs addressing
It could be solved with a simple apology or someone confessing
Only danger is
When the biz
Is left unattended
A big mess may not be able to be mended
As I sit here by the ocean water
After studying undergrad years ago in Florida
My notebook reflects over the happy hour drink
Our beloved public servants may want to start to think
This whole situation cannot get any colder
And should expect to hear from the master called the voter
Flipping the switch in the ballot booth
That states ‘we have had it’ and we want nothing but the truth
