Destiny, I’d say, is the bedfellow of fate Wedded they walk in undisclosed ways, Suspense of mystery their kindred trait As to our country, the outcome of late Every politician trying to accommodate, Depending on how the electorate sways Destiny, I’d say, is the bedfellow of fate Wedded they walk in undisclosed ways. Thanks. This is an odd triolet. As opposed to my usual triolets, this one makes a political statement.

I generally try to make triolets about nature, but this one just took on a life of its own. You are right!
