A young, enchanting Lilly stands tall and oh so very proud,
Others waiting in line to bloom, they silently vowed,
Eager roses showing off their virgin white beauty,
Vain, trying to steal the show, maybe feeling a little guilty,
Bougainvillea, vivaciously display a color of vibrant indigo,
They lean forward as I approach whispering, watch me grow.

She illuminates even the dreariest places,
With all of the vibrant colors she puts on,
Trailing sweet fragrance through the hours,
Her vague memory putting smiles upon faces!
Her visage glows in the wonder of sunny days,
A spring debutante, aging in summer's glaze.
Silent and mysterious, an enigmatic dreamer,
Vivaciously spreading joy, where she visits.
Star of noon gardens, where cardinals croon,
She is cherished by everyone, under the moon.

Synthetic Stimuli Surfacing

Food for thought!...today~some Quantum physicists believe we live in a holographic universe...with multi-dimensional realities living side by side...and these multiverses only exist if observed upon...

Spurious spatiotemporal spacious synthetic skies

Contrarious curious conundrums critically compromise

Mysterious matter melding metamorphically mystifies

Nefarious neurological nilpotent neurons normalize

Insidious idealized information instructions immunize

Hilarious holographic hallucinogens hyperactively hypnotize

Various vector voids vivaciously vaporize

Delirious denurulizing defragments deceivingly digitize

KISSING THE MOON

Twilight displays striations of multicolored light.
The shrewd sun and morose moon, begin to fight.
Amber spreads her net across the horizon of night.

Five minutes pass, and appears, a beautiful sprite,
pirouetting across the burgeoning couple’s plight,*
fanning out skirts of tourmaline tints, blushing spite –

rufescent. Soul reverberates, this explosion of might,
viewed through a woman’s eyes, so vivaciously bright.

The sun blows a kindred kiss, disappears out of sight,
as the giddy moon bids adieu in black and blue flight.

More Than a Significant Other - Iambic Meter

MORE THAN A SIGNIFICANT OTHER - IAMBIC METER!

“Come live / with me / and be / my love.”

I ask of you this because you are my ultimate desire.
I refuse to hide it when you see it in my eyes.
My mind is in a dreamlike state blowing kisses at you all of the time.
You never see this because I am shy.
I write you this poem now.

Before I knew you, you knew me.
You would see me standing outside by the fig tree.
You would come to class by yourself.
How do I know this?
Well, your best friend is my best friend as well.
He told me that you had asked who I am.

You are such a wild orchid never going wild - a beautiful flower all the time.
I love to get to know you and fulfill my ultimate desires.
You and I together laid back chilling and comfortable in life, mutually agreeable to the definition of our beings, and most important, knowing our destiny vivaciously.

“Come live / with me / and be / my love.”

Corrupted Soul

My force was never destined to wound thy withered soul.
My tenacity was to mend thy aching from days of old.
I can not fight the motives, why i have drawn blood.
Cupping thine haunting tears as they emerge like a flood.

Thy appreciations searching mine for answers never to be found.
By sorrow, by dread my beloved i am bound.
Distraught with my essence, on me lay thy blame.
Lingering like incense in the air your gasping under strain.

A soul without conscience is how thee beholds me.
Stone cold, vivaciously untouched without a key.
Corrupted by the veins of agony, at the root of my being.
Thy shall never touch the tender heart, blind folded i shall keep thee from seeing.

Forlorn am i by the path i have lead thy heart.
Condemning my soul to torment for my poorly portrayed part.
Do not forget thy brilliance on account of my mistake
Withering into my devastation so that thee may elude thy wake.

A Dab of Spring

A shade of yellow, paint with blue
Blemishes the canvass, all in crude
Creativity in the lazy sky
Dulled in myriad etches drawn
Enthusiasm overwhelming
Fields of hope now ascending
God given blessings bestowed
Heaven's a bliss to behold
In the artist's loving hand
Jaded with clues after clues
Keen on its every detail
Life time's own redemption
Memoirs upon the final touch
Nature's guise to reach heights
Oils and pastels combined
Portrait hung with grace
Quite breezing one's mind
Racing deep to the bosom
Sunflowers waving its mother sun
Thistles whispering sweet goodbyes
Utopia on the majestic moon
Vivaciously unified
Wonders of an impressive grade, like
Xylophones synced in harmony
Yesterday's today an understatement
Zephyr stirred within every stroke.

Paradox Repeat Paradox

Void to live in frost bit pain
Maimed by thought made like Cain
Comatose element numb with spite
Corrupted veins sinister mindless night

Devour the sand reverberated Time
Decay for filth screeching chime
Clockwork putrence constructed door
Misery wasteland voidless core

Correct the heart paradox repeat
Volatile time disrupt discrete
Puppet string maliciously control
Mirror reflective of a twisted soul

Bestowed vividly abysmal thread
Fateful sustenance restless dead
Corroded souls absolutely prime
Paradox repeat swelling time

Final concept vivaciously stored
Overflowing clock fire poured
Scorching below time bitterly perceived
Breathless paradox end conceived..

Chicago Spring

After the dreary, dismal cold days of winter,
Bogged down by mounds of snow,
Chicago, the indomitable city,
Dogged by ears-flapping, bone-chilling winds,
Emerges like a blooming flower
Fostering liveliness, sensuality,
Gaiety and grandiose funfair.

Hot, sizzling and sassy summer aside;
Invigorating spring first arrives and
Jogging along the Lakefront trail or
Kicking a soda can down the Magnificent Mile,
Life finally emerges from its winter cocoon.

Mona Lisa smiles and bright eyes fleeting by,
Night life promises a charm of its own with
Outdoor patios where cooing lovers linger,
Pandering to fans of performing arts and swanky music.

Quotidian lives turn into jostling horseplay,
Ravishing beds of fragrant shrubs adorn the sidewalks.
Spring in Chicago is vivaciously volatile,
Temperature, as it rises, so does people's spirits,
Under the shadows of imposing skyline or
Viewing the serpentine Lake Shore Drive up from
Willis Tower's Skydeck, Chicago appears, oh,
Xtra beautiful – A spring's paradise!
Yellow magnolias, richly painted and sweetly fragrant,
Zestfully vying with vibrant clusters of tulips.

Our King Is Insane

Clad in his double-breasted royal toga
Filled of nothing but pride and anger
His face as grim as a Pallbearer’s
His gaze dreadful and fearful like that of
A raging rattlesnake about to strike
His eyes crackling charcoal fire-red
His dancing tummy under his “Agbada”
Reminds me of a dancing Porcupine

He paces round his palace
A house built on a Rock in the Niger-Area
He fumes and puffs like a spitting Cobra . . .
“My eyes of pity had gone blinded
Only those of nakedness built on wickedness
Shone in my vibrating Golgotha
Let no man speak of hunger with anger
For I find people not scavenging on the garbage
Let no one talk of thirst in a haste
For our River Niger is like that of River Marah
It brings only taste of grouchiness and sullenness

Let men in the Niger-Area speak not of hoarding of food
For Farming is the only way to more days of famine
Speak not of hike in the Oil from our ground
For its very dear in the other neighbouring lands
Rejoice my people for the benevolence have shown you
I shall rule and rule forever till there are people to rule no more”
Our King is indeed insane for sanity left him long ago
A vivaciously looking Chimpanzee in the Niger-Area Forest
A chirpy Chimera of the Black Race, unto him I bow piously

I have impatiently listened to his drunken fits of eloquence
My king smells like a gouard of wine full of petulance
As I bore the sting of his unrivaled drunken ribaldry
I weep for a King who is as old as Methuselah
I wonder whether he had ever smell childhood
For he looks as if he had always been old from
The very scaring day he was let out of his Mother’s womb
His Majesty old and worn out like a dry hell

Let him run into the Market with nakedness on his head
Let our people beat and stone insanity out of him
Let the people in the Niger- Area Arise and thread
Like the Strong and the Mighty with history of Victory
And arrest our oppressors and other fanatical Kingpins
And let them be taken like urchin for their tyranny
And turpitude has attained untold heights

Dance With You

 ~ LET'S DANCE! ~ Poetry Contest
Form:Dizain.

Dance, only with you, my sunshine,
Dance, our vigorous emotions within erupt and rise.
Dance, exuberantly and vivaciously to make you all mine.
Dance, diaphanous caress with my gossamer eyes,
Dance, intimately churn sweet love’s nectar to inside us sensationalize.
Dance, ecstatic desire to drive us to each other fondly insane,
Dance even in doubt’s pain I have only you to gain.
Dance, desire gushes out the fathoms of my heart to my yearning lips,
Dance, from my fervent emotions all impurities will drain,
Dance, Behold us hankering and seductively gyrating our hips…………

A Hollow Shell

a hollow shell
of tangled synapses
sparked into gradual madness
which drowns out the truths of the day
as the mind reeks of the rotten sad moments
that swirl in the rancid soup of forgotten dreams
dreams that once traced a gentle path of innocence
dreams that reached for pure love’s tender touch
dreams now paralysed but once vivaciously alive
what became of those fresh dreams and hopes
as they lie mustily on dusty bookshelves
torn into shreds by time’s fine scimitar
devoid of the touch of raw passion
when all that remains of love is
a hollow shell
