I Drown Within Your Most Beautiful Eyes - Valentine Collection

(Valentine's Collection)

50.

I drown within your most beautiful eyes,
through wonderful visions of precious love.
What visions I shall come to visualised,
come my beloved to Heaven above.
Sapphire eyes do become my paradise,
I now join your dreams, my beautiful dove.

I now swim within your lagoons of blue,
entranced by the blue sheen shining love-light,
Ever I see the glory that is you.
I lose myself in your eyes shining bright,
you are my delight.

Altar

I sat on the bench and the tears began to flow
Knowing that was only one place I needed to go
But for some strange reason my feet wouldn't walk
And at the same time my mouth couldn't talk
I desperately wanted to get to that place
But I was blinded by my tears that covered my face
I knew if I got there then everything would be ok
At the same time worried I wouldn't know what to say
What would people think, would they judge me
Those were the thoughts in my mind I could see
I visualised the result and the difference it made
Yet I was still struggling behind my façade
I felt so dirty, ashamed and very unworthy
How could He possibly love someone like me?
These were all the thoughts going around and around
Knowing at that place the answer will be found
I struggled and wrestled to move my feet
Unsurprisingly I still remained in my seat
I could feel body heart beating faster than it should
Reminding myself that I’m worthless and no good
Yet the desire was there, the urgency so strong
Could I really go to that place knowing I’d done wrong?
I was scared that I’d be judged and be called a hypocrite
So instead on that bench I did remain there and sit
I knew I should go; there was no doubt in my mind
Surely if someone went before me, I could follow behind
He spoke again with sincerity in his voice
Why was it so hard for me to make this choice
The call was coming to an end and I felt myself falter
Why am I hindering myself from going to the altar?

An Everlasting Gift

I read in solitude, I found peace.
I read with love, I felt exulted.
I read when I was lonely, I got a companion.
I read when I felt sick at heart, I embraced ecstasy.

I read histories and spoke to the people of the past.
I read biographies and met my mentors.
I read fantasies and widened my jaws at the magic lamps.
I read poetry to master vocabulary.

I read war tales and realised the value of peace
I visualised orphan kids and felt the pain behind hunger pangs
I read love stories and learnt the best life lessons.
I skimmed through adventures and learnt embracing fears.

While I read,
I became a sailor and traversed on salt waters greeting the storms,
I turned into a detective and loosened the knots of unsolved mysteries
I sang with the cuckoos, danced with the dragons and merried with the magic mats
I felt pain, I felt love, I endured every emotion of my unknown friend.

Read to explore,
Read to exercise your brain,
Read to travel,
Read to know another world,
Read to socialize,
Read to boost your morale.

Read children read, for it makes you what you thought you could never be.

If Visions Mattered

I  set sight on visions
Picture little if visions
Matter ,i paint a photo
To vision my pictures
My vision has lost it way to my tongue
I speak what I see, visualise or better yet picture
My vision set scenes like am Picasso
As I speak out my words in a Pablo
More or less a parable of my words painting
A vision of Picasso ,a pain tainting

Is it a beautiful vision that i now draw
Sharp words sketching fine black &white
Lines of how the vision begins
Curves and edges on how
I flip and toss these metaphors
And I colour the corners of my visualised picture
With idioms and shade it with similes
As it is similar to the photo of my vision
I speak fluently with coloured thoughts
Penciled on my incomplete picture
As I have my vision destroyed

For I set sight on visions
Picture little if visions
Matter,as I have less of a picture
More of a photo
Photo my visions
Picture my visions
Spoke of my visions
Frame my visions with
Synonyms, antonyms
Or shorten my picture with acronyms
Then the picture becomes and is less of a vision
The absence of words paints an empty picture

Words as powerful , dreams as wonderful
Actions performed, as visions are destroyed
destructed and demolished
Words conquer, visions follow

I  set sight on visions
Picture little if visions
Matter, i paint a photo
To vision my picture
Without these words I can not paint my visions.

The Colour Guards

"The Colour Guards"

Heaven
came close to me today

I flirted with the idea of it
outrageously

The Colour Guard
kept changing

The metaphysical poet
spoke automatic its message through me

it visualised some kind of new Nirvana
shining through electric spectral colours

held aloft
by the containment emeralds

the ghost writer
enticing me to tear from the limb

most high the gilded eye of mind
ignites through crystalline

from the lowest of low born dreams
the sweetest green apple of its eye

so I took a bite and full-bodied
what was living inside the skin of me
metamorphasized

I came close to heaven today
it flirted with the idea of me outrageously

it spoke to me in cloudy colours
class not out yet for long lost fellows

more lessons coming in
each room by door behind all numbers

the answers
found within

(LadyLabyrinth / 2022)

"The metaphysical poets were men of learning, and, to show their learning was their whole endeavour; but, unluckily resolving to show it in rhyme, instead of writing poetry, they only wrote verses, and, very often, such verses as stood the trial of the finger better than of the ear; for the modulation was so imperfect, that they were only found to be verses by counting the syllables... The most heterogeneous ideas are yoked by violence together; nature and art are ransacked for illustrations, comparisons, and allusions; their learning instructs, and their subtilty surprises; but the reader commonly thinks his improvement dearly bought, and, though he sometimes admires, is seldom pleased."

nirvana
noun
(in Buddhism)
a transcendent state in which there is neither suffering, desire, nor sense of self, and the subject is released from the effects of karma and the cycle of death and rebirth. It represents the final goal of Buddhism.

"Listening is all well and good", she said.
"Watch and learn, read between the lines;
Morse Code, a gift of Love - for you," she said.

Nothing For Contest

I am nothing
Just a void
An empty space
Vacant and sad
A silent tear follows every visualised smile
Salty eyes too tired to see
Weary and fragile
I am lost
Alone

I am nothing
Just a void
An empty space
You now just a memory
Etched into my heart
Gone from my life
Isolation and loneliness too much to bear
Silence forever more
Bereft by your absence

I am nothing
Just a void
An empty space
The missing piece
Without you I do not exist
A soulless living body
Now a shell
Existing until death frees me
I am nothing
Just a void
An empty space

Pathetic Faith

PATHETIC FAITH
...to not be overwhelmed...to have great faith...this is a testing time...
Without complete faith, it wont work 4 me...so i must obsess on the faith in things working...
I have tried visualizing {SEEING}many things...eg water pump working in car that was getting hot ..
saw Cousins aorta shrinking, was got 2 amazing :} XRAYS SAID bulging aorta was shrinking...

I was quoted 2 grand 4 repairs...i kept seeing water-pump working, drove 200 miles and return etc,
Also thermostat opening, and cracked head sealing....did 1000 kilometers with me car like ...that...
a learning thingy...
Also i visualised, saw, my petrol pump working in petrol tank...to get it working when it stuck several times...saw the pump rotating and it did...
It was easier than climbing under the car and thumping the petrol tank to unstick a corroded terminal ..{.i think corrosion stops a lot of electronic equipment...even computers ...all the vibration in em causes little plug in boards to move and not connect properly, so if it dont work reseat of just push em in a bit firmer to fix a non working corrosion probby...bit of wd40 can help}
worked on the pump...Don.... I have a sore tooth and I infect it with smurfs with needles and pick-axes doing the healing, more seeing 4 the subconciousness program...
when you are in spirit you can create things with your mind by seeing it happen, the same in human form if you have great faith...very f'ing hard though...the clearer picture is stronger...
DONT EXPECT BAD THINGS...DONT DRAW THE CRABS:} ….ole Johnson...

When we communicate with another
Via verbal or written correspondence alone
We have no idea what that person looks like
So we form an image of our own

Sometimes that image is close
Other times completely incorrect
Always so interesting to see
If they look like we suspect

Hypothetically ,wouldn’t it be an intriguing experiment
To gather a group of faceless P.S poets we have connected to
Without speech or interaction
Ask each person to guess just…who is who?

I wonder if anyone would choose correctly
If there were similarities in what they had visualised
Or if they are polar opposites to our minds image
The way they look a complete and utter surprise!

We'Re Journalists

We're the watchdogs of the government
The voice to the voiceless
The hope to the hopeless
The way to your salvation
The path to your righteousness
The key to your pathway

We're journalists!
We keep you entertain
We communicate to the president the people's plight
We investigate the activities of corrupt leaders and make it known..
We risked our lives in the war front to cover stories
We don't collect gratification
One microphone changes the heterogeneous dispersed audiences view

We're journalists!
We make known the unknown
We visualised for your eyes to see
So many work behind the camera we actualised
We give justice to the unjust
We avoid segregation
We give orientation
We make many fame
Their names heard beyond the universe
Our content is a guide for all to follow
We solve the unsolved

We're wide!
We breached the language barrier
We make complex words simple for the layman
We provide platforms for your potential
You just imagine a world without communication Radio television and social media... You just imagine

Detached Reality

Unravelled in conscious decision bend
So much going on , I have to pretend
There's no revert no green end
    ?This will all end
    ?With no return
?in this turn , what I learn
?Is what I decide . The decision I confirm.
    ?

    Deminished in droughts of self-esteem
    ?idealism

   Visualising the unease, forsee
    ?Assuming the counter bleeps.

Feelings attached,
  To detached reality ....

Reoccurrence of a moment at rest
   .
   ? Conclusive yet Delusional

Pressure to cripple or relieve that uncertain flex...
  Yet so much of everything...
    Recks the peaceful phased...
    ? Feeling of raised
    ?harmony's chest.
    ?
    ?Lost in the past ,
?Either deal with it or stone
?Your tone will be judged by the underlaying dawn/clown

Misled certainty
   Jumping high , slithering low
   ?
  The Occupying excitement
  ?
  ?Feeding the unknown dissapointment
  ?Forging in greatly
    ? ?yet unimpressed
.
Creeping of .... Endeavours
   Crippling the favour
?What's the magic to complete tasks?
   ?
Desks covered, visualised seat
   Beat to sleep ,
   ?Motivation loops
  Instant ?go. Hold on !.
  ? Sway the thoughts ...
  ? It's Gone
  ?
  ?Fractions of could've been ...
  ?So so dim
  ? in the scene ...

Feelings attached to detached reality...

Fidelity, I feel scenes
 I feel the looks,
Physically unpresented ?atmosphere
 The motion dips ...

I can't feel ease
my soul went to a freeze
  ?

If Only

It was...

If only it had been!

Immersed in abstract reality

Conversation
Laughter
Loving

Wanting to reach out and confirm tangible expectations
But instinctively knowing it is an exercise in futility

Because by reaching out,
The spell would be broken
The magic would be gone
Dispersed like smoke in the wind

Leaving be-hind
The bitter-sweet after-taste
Of what is; but is not

If only....

It can be seen with-out the sub-conscious being a catalyst
For a projection that can-not be visualised
With the naked eye

So the windows to the soul with the curtains drawn
Kept imploring to the sub-conscious
To tarry, nay

If only....

For a little while
So some-thing so puritanical
Can be revelled in

But reality...
Oh, in-evitable reality!

Tore in and shattered any illusion of nirvana
Leaving behind poignant memories
To ferry a battered soul over to the shores of dawn
