Best Virgo Poems
In response to my fellow poetess, dearest friend and soul sister, Jennifer Proxenos, inspiring poem “I am Virgo”
I am Virgo too
A September woman
thriving in her Autumn
learning not to sigh over her spring
and summer too!
A gift of Faith
willing to heal her aches.
Her mind, a master in deafening woes
tracing what is fake and low
dwelling in the borders of her heart
making a permanent entrance
nostalgia, dreams.. with a sword
crossing out!
Growing in the shade of Beauty
a giver, her leading role
a leafy tree behind the stage.
Silence, a joyful companion
Time, her friend and foe!
Human connection of a spiritual dimension
What a painful perfection!
The passion within
empowering, awakening
denying her Self a life!
Fine, wise souls
ever attracted to
her beauties wouldn’t for granted take!
Perpetually restoring Self and peace
With Love
I am Virgo too!
The Virgo In Me
A virgin goddess, pure simple mind
A fervour in heart, kindness for mankind
Always yearning for eternal youth
In search of undying truth
High aims of touching the sun
Enjoys the company of the young
A craving for perfection as close as it can be
That’s the Virgo in me
Little actions and deeds observed
But very easily perturbed
Even if a dear one steps out of bounds
I’m ever ready with my sharp bullet rounds
People adore me for my abilities
Oh my it is the Virgo in me
I’m famous for my devotion
My heart an ocean of emotions
Its love that makes me passionate
Trying to immerse my loved ones in it
I’m often quite forward and bold
But nerves quiver turning me cold
No chains bind me, a spirit free
Oh yes it is the Virgo in me

I feel and see your love—
how you tend to the world
that too often withholds return—
how even in your own storms
you reach outward,
checking the pulse of others
even as your own pain
pressures in.
Your resilience is not noise,
not the crash of waves,
but the quiet strength
of a butterfly—
purple softness catching light,
wings still fluttering
even when torn by fierce weather.
You remind me
that care is an art form—
in every animal you nurture,
in every friend you hold
from drifting away.
The poet within you,
the self you feel has dimmed,
is still alive—
strengthening others,
strengthening me.
I may not always say it,
but your presence steadies me—
your efforts do not go unseen.
You are valued—deeply—
today and always.
None of you has died—
you live yet still—
your love carried on every flower,
every heart
you land upon.
My Moon is in Taurus, so though
I’m Virgo Sun, you ought to know. . .
There’s a whole lot of soul
In a hot virgin bull;
It’s a combo magnifico!
For P.D.'s "Zodiac Race"
I am a Virgo, on cusp of Libra.
My heart and mind stays in a penumbra.
My first words were these, so told.
“Me do it me self”, so bold.
I was strange in school, I loved algebra
Male
Astrologists were wrong when they said I never show my emotions.
I've always been the outcast and the crybaby of the family but poetry is my devotion.
I don't care who knows or finds out about my secret love.
My emotions can't set me free from this cage like the whitest dove.
Should I keep going or stop my writing motion?
God was wrong when he sent me to be born on September Eleventh.
I'm nothing like a Virgo, please just call me an Amaranth.
War, love, and hate describe me on any given day.
When I look at her, the war ends and I'm tempted to stay.
In my mind I'm another ordinary kid that arrived the umpteenth.
Vitality is brimming; also diplomatic -with a smile that is winning,
I’m logical and grounded, for I am Zodiac’s maiden - married to the earth.
Relaxation Virgos crave; with such nervous energy, we tend to worry,
Grappling with decisions – always keeping busy; but we also like to clean?
Oh, my, that part is not ME. However, quite the Virgo, I love practicality.

Vibrant in life
Intelligent to boot
Rigid and lonely
Graceful but rude
Objective on occasion
Loving and true
Intriguing and mysterious
Balancing too
Romantic and charming
Argumentative and blue

Well you are the Virgin of Chasity
All fired up in a warm shade of Indigo
You are the unification of cosmic
Forces in the shadow of Mercury
An adaptable soul but you never
Compromise your virtues
Born of the earth and the sardonyx
You are a beautiful maiden of
Royal dainties at summer's end
Your fruit is ripe and by a harvest
Moon your table is set with
This and that and it's never
Old hat oh at summer’s end
On a fat Wednesday night
Well you are a wonderful
Humanitarian touching many
A heart and many a life yes
You are the unification of
Cosmic forces in the shadow
Of Mercury and the last few
Days of summer all fired up
In a warm, warm shade of Indigo
In the wake of September
Enter, enters VIRGO!
Grace under pressure
Unflappable class
Overtones of elegance
Strength of brass.
Tending splendid gardens
Where laughter and fun
Sprout as if native
In the warmth of her sun.
Incensed by thoughtless actions
Yet steady in her mood
Mixing sweet persuasion
With wisdom for food.
A Virgo mom’s a blessing
For one raised in her nest
So just today this Taurus says
That Virgo is the best!
Virgin Mary
I am not
Running wild
Generating chaos.
Organised chaos, mind

Virgo is my sign with which I deeply align
I thrive as I help and serve, driven by passion and verve
Religious in heart mystic in mind, a soul wholly unconfined
Gifted by the healing power of Love and the sensibility of dove
Of a sense of worth, an affinity with mother earth, that’s my sign birth.

Vanity and pride are my prison
Inhibitions bind and trap my desires
Relentlessly striving for perfection
Greatness eludes my every move
Outwardly concealing my inner turmoil
