Happy are we, who love the beauty of all things.
Who stand for the beauty of a child.
We......who have soft, soul’s wings.
Those who believe in God, not in Satan’s world gone wild.

We surrounded by the media’s outlandish lies.
That as we walk this earth, there is a mix of bitter laughter
and dirth.
Know well what God said, “ Vengeance is mine .”
And each of us, destined to die, swallowed by the earth.

Putting only world leaders on trial?
Pompous and righteous, of our sins we live in indignant denial!
We, seek only personal fame and all others on earth defame.
All of us are so perfect, we have not a one tiny drop of shame?

Remember, do not any leader of any country, as a god adore!
Only one man, His life, offered to save the world.
I see this in poetry, waving palms, shouting Hosanna to humans galore!
And shouting for the death of others, their minds be in a self-righteous swirl.

A Prayer For Wisdom

Let not thine lips utter a curse
Upon those the Lord has Blessed.
Let not thine heart be hardened
Or thine mind be under duress.
For the rain falls upon the wicked
And the righteous just the same,
Do not cast a stone in anger,
In judgement, or in vain.
For vengeance is mine saith the Lord,
And my Will, it will be done.
Do not doubt,
Do not fear,
For after the nighttime,
comes the sun.
Be as equals.
Love in kind.
This Commandment above all else.
Treat your neighbor as Your kin,
And love them as yourself.

Vengeance

Time for my vengeance to reign
Time for this fool to feel the pain
That he has caused unto me
No worries of "times three."

I call upon a power of old
One that will surely unfold
The power of a woman scorned
You were once so warned.

My daughter from me you took
Tis you, not I, that is the crook.
For this utmost heinous crime
I seek justice of the most sublime.

Spirits upon the Earth I seek
To make this mortal weak.
To curse him to a living hell
Worse than that of any jail.

Let him lose all his hair
And leave none to spare.
Let him feel only a chill
At the loss of his thrill.

Lose the love of the daughter
That thought you walked on water.
Lose your friends respect
And feel your wife reject.

See your life fall apart
And love from you depart.
The deed is done the spell is cast
Vengeance is mine at last.

In-Laws

Full circle, karma comes around 360 degrees.
When this happens, they'll be brought to their knees.

They have to answer for all they have done.
Stealing everything from her and her sons.

Always preaching, with such righteous indignation.
All their false modesty and sense of elation.

At this moment, they may be on cloud nine,
But as the Lord sayeth, "Vengeance is Mine!"

rods could not break its rough corners

They laid her in a tomb, only the bagpiper and I.
The Scotsman, with his pipes, played a dreary dirge,
I stood tall, no tears just intense anger.
A haggard breeze flowed around the verdant trees,
Ruffling the dreary flowers that adorned her tomb.

A hit and run: Dead on the spot.
A mad drug addicted driver who killed my lovely wife.
How can I forgive? She was my love.
Thoughts ran amok in my head.
No tears, just revenge.

Seething with anger I bought a pistol.
I searched for him in his stuffy cabin.
Found him in stupor on his smelly single bed.
Took out my weapon, checked bullets.
The smell in that cabin made my stomach lurch.

Could I kill him in cold blood?

Vengeance is mine, said the Lord.
Angrily, I left and threw the gun in a deep lake.
I could only hold back my tears.

Take the Risk

Some people hate risks
Fun is banned in quick whisks

More and more are afraid
The rules are only to be obeyed.

No appeals, no changes
Loving just rearranges

A cookie will break
Is the risk they'll take

But as they wipe away the smile
They enjoy the taste all the while.

"No more pain", they plead
It hurts to bleed.

Only what's carefully planned
Comfortable or canned.

With a plan "C" or at least a "B"
A life of risks is too risky.

Just with plan "A"
"Please God", they pray.

What is a risk anyway?
Faith, Love, Trust and obey.

"Vengeance is Mine", says the Lord
His wrath will be outpoured.

Trust His justice and step out
Take the risk, just don't doubt.

All will be revealed
God's will is sealed.

His forgiveness is sure
Over each heart and soul secure.

But we have to ask
If in His love we'll bask.

Warning

Message From God

"Touch not Mine Anointed and do my prophets/poets no harm,
I am sending this to the people, I just want to warn."
"It was better that a milestone was tied about your neck."
"Than to touch Mine Anointed, so put your harm in check."

"You can touch them with your tongue, you can touch them with your hand."
"But I am sending this message because I want you to understand."
"That no weapon formed against them shall prosper in this land."
"For they are Mine, I will protect them and no one can pluck them out of my hand."

"Every tongue that rises up against them; I will condemn,
For they or Mine and I am theirs;" "Yes, we belong to Him."
"What you have done to the least of these, you are doing it unto Me,
And vengeance is Mine, I shall repay; don't try Me or you will see." GOD

Justice

Justice for one
Justice for all
when some one wrongs another
they sometimes in return like to see them fall
but there is always a better way
so then we wont be judged on judgement day
try not to do things
 in your own accord
for vengeance is mine says the Lord
no matter what people do or say
 unto them God will repay
try to turn the other cheek
  then you can be free
for he stands the ground for you and me. Amen.

Vengeance

always remind me
Vengeance is mine saith the Lord
for my bones do ache

ON THE LEVEES OF TIME…
   (APROPOS WHEN THE LEVEES BROKE)

When the levees broke…when the levees broke…
     When the levees broke…
When the levees broke the world awoke
     From a submerged reality
Flowing beneath the bridge over trouble waters.
The copious tears of the domed encampment
Could not wipe away the fears
Nor cleanse the minds of lost hopes floating
In the midst of the mockery I see:
This land, this water, this ransacked America!

Shame is a white cloud reflected from the dark
     Side of the moon;
Guilt seeks its own level; but the Lord said:
     Vengeance is Mine…
Indeed to err is human; to forgive divine…
     Mercy on we mere mortals!

When the levees broke…when the levees broke…
     When the levees broke…
Stitches that bound the veil and scale of justice
     Were ripped at the seam;
And it seemed that the bowels of hell
Loosened their pregnant flow of terror
And unseen evil revealed itself to an intoxicating world
     Drunk with deception.

No receding water can was away the pain;
     The level of grief remains.
Like a wrinkle in time, minds of survivors flood
     With memories of Middle Passage Crossing;
deferred dreams of festering bloated bellies
     Of the dreamers; dreamers of a new Diaspora;
Dreamers drifting on the rafts of new leanings

Indeed we shall rise again from the depths
     Of hell’s waters;
Sail on the tides of new beginnings; no political anchors
     Nor the barges of time
Can hold us in check or prohibit our rising.

At our soaked wake, we shall keep a ripened vigil;
The shadowed veil shall ever be rent.
All shall be naked before the world; truth revealing
     Its self like a burning bush;
And we shall come over into a new dwelling: a city
Not made by hands of corruption.

And the Orleans of our beginnings here shall not fade
     From these memories:
When the levees broke…when the levees broke…
     When the levees broke.

One of God’s greatest teachings by which mankind should live,
to think not on getting even, but from our hearts we must forgive.

Vengeance Is Mine

He rode into town in the back of a truck,
A man on a mission, who, hoping with luck,
Would find the young zealots who murdered his Dad,
And vowed he'd take vengeance with all that he had.

Was late in the evening, and chores had been done,
He'd gone to the bedroom to tuck in his son,
His father was sitting there, out on the porch,
When Klansmen came 'round with a cross and a torch.

Without any feelings, they shot the man dead,
They lit up the cross and then watched as he bled,
A small band of cowards, they started to run,
When out of the door came the shots of a gun.

He rode into town in the back of a truck,
To look for those Klansmen, who, running amuck,
Had caused so much heartache and caused so much pain,
The ones who found pleasure when someone was slain.

He found them encamped on the side of a hill,
The look on their faces, it gave him a chill,
The sight of pure evil is all he could see,
There, hid in the bushes behind a large tree.

He cried to the wind and to God up above,
Who spoke to the mountain and gave it a shove,
As boulders rained down like a God-given sign,
He heard a loud voice, saying "VENGEANCE IS MINE!"

Now all is so quiet, and all is so still,
No more will those Klansmen be able to kill,
The only voice now is the sound of the wind,
Like tormented souls of the ones who had sinned.

Hold On

Retaliation
vengeance is mine saith the lord
ease your heart and soul

Iniquity

INIQUITY

The absence of moral or spiritual values afflict
we detest them when at the short end of the stick
life is unfair—we are reminded—the reply quick

Afraid we might not get our piece of pie
even when offenders repent—apologize
never really payback—just a free ride

Further rankled when God’s time is not ours
trapped--Sylvia Plath in her troubled ‘Bell Jar’
choosing anger over trust—restitution bizarre?

How to make right when we have been wronged
biblical options rebuffed whilst hate is prolonged
perfect fairness not ours to harbor all lifelong

God makes things right in His way and time
‘vengeance is mine’ He reminds – never sublime
verdict of iniquity chastened—victimless crime
