Potd a Soul Swirled In This World

Happy are we, who love the beauty of all things. Who stand for the beauty of a child. We......who have soft, soul’s wings. Those who believe in God, not in Satan’s world gone wild. We surrounded by the media’s outlandish lies. That as we walk this earth, there is a mix of bitter laughter and dirth. Know well what God said, “ Vengeance is mine .” And each of us, destined to die, swallowed by the earth. Putting only world leaders on trial? Pompous and righteous, of our sins we live in indignant denial! We, seek only personal fame and all others on earth defame. All of us are so perfect, we have not a one tiny drop of shame? Remember, do not any leader of any country, as a god adore! Only one man, His life, offered to save the world. I see this in poetry, waving palms, shouting Hosanna to humans galore! And shouting for the death of others, their minds be in a self-righteous swirl. 5/10/2022

Your first two lines set the tone for the rest of your poem Pangie. We need to celebrate what we want to see more of in this world, which is love and beauty in that order. For God is Love. Congratulations on your wonderful POTD honor my friend. Blessings xxoo

Hi, Connie! We do need to “celebrate what we want to see more of”....thank you for the congratulations!it takes a big human being to do this. I don’t always do it. My eyes cannot take the beating of being on line as they once did. I am working on that! You are a class act here, Connie. Thank you much. Love, Pangie

Pangie, I'm sorry I did not see your POTD poem until just now. Your pen is a sharpened sword and you proclaim God's goodness and man's folly without batting an eye. You are a living example of "I am not ashamed of the gospel for it is the power of God unto salvation. I love your opening line "Happy are we, who love the beauty of all things." It sounds like a beatitude. Congrats for your POTD, sister, keep being you ~ John

Dear John, A master of wordsmanship and friendship. Your comment could be made into a poem It’s breathtaking. Thank you, for being you. I will make no room for Murder in my life.let’s call it what it is! Having a sharpened sword means not being read! I am not holy. Just dang real. Heads in the clouds poets will not read me. Which is wonderful. I want to know poets like you.I am not into the occult nor any conspiracy theories. The Judah Christian Bible is the recipe of how to live and love.No man is a god...nor woman. So grateful. John. Hugs, Pangie

Good afternoon, How right you are, Paulette! Amazon has next day delivery of baby formula? But it makes a good news story.make mothers freak out. In California, it is not on shelves but locked up. There are safe alternatives but better to live in fear?? Like Covid is coming back, hepatitis in babies. Or Janet Yellen,” Abortion is beneficial to the American economy. No, it’s not. It is beneficial to abortionists alone. Muuder a baby for 22,000. That Christians and Jews pay for, against their faith! Or MAGA people are violent? Hey, we are not BLM nor Antifa! Sinful to harm people with lies. Twitter, Facebook are not news sources.hysteria makers. I avoid all that. Plus phony press conference. With Psaki. She belongs with Fake News and yes on MSNBC. Perfect.Pangie

Love the title, Pangie. It is so true; my only hope is in my faith in my Creator. Congratulations on another POTD my friend. Your poems cause us to look deeper and see through the illusion swirl around us, to our only stability, our faith in our Creator. Thank you for sharing your thoughts through your poetry. Bill

Bill, I am glad you came aboard Poetry Soup. You are a blessing here! To trust man to solve world issues is a joke! I learned through history, schooling and personal experience, how frail man’s word is. How very sad. This Wokeness, pervades the White House. And how nuts to say Trump followers are the most vicious group in history, Bill. What kind of hash- hish does POTUS smoke? Rallies are not violent. Nor do we murder people or burn cities. I need not name those groups that do. Thank you for sharing your love of the Creator openly, my friend. ..Pangie. I never know where these titles come from-))

Eve, speaking only for myself, Americans are not stupid. Yes we see things differently! But that is no reason to harm another. Currently, the main branch is into destroying theConstitution, free speech, religion and promoting murder on the unborn! Then when born, no baby formula but plenty of vaccine, masks and fear. Confusing kids as to their sexuality allowing them to get the vaxx without parental consent., you Portland...you tell me why boys bathrooms need feminine female products?? Our Mds are not the property of the State, that is Hitler talk. We can think without the government. People cannot afford food or gas. It’s not Putin’s fault. You know who it is Pangie

Hello Anava! You got the poem right! I appreciate your compliment. There are many here, who pen far better than I. I only am in my third year of writing. I usually don’t pen lone couplets, like the about the horse. My poetry is longer, especially in the beginning..I feel my eyeballs are gone LOL. So I definitely have shortened them. Good you write limericks! Mine are always off, so I gave up totally on them.they are popular here. I rarely credit myself as being a good Piet. Just good at learning, honesty and self expression. Ciao! Pangie
