What Holds More Resplendent Gifts Of The Great And Vast Beyond

Seas of poetry orations, I once took my swims
being strong in spirit, stouter in heart and lithe of limbs
What dread had I of illness or passage of Father Time
when great beauty of verse sang so deep, dancing in its rhyme
Waves of its amber grains, its sandy beach, its great pleasures
stirred heart, pleading soul in immeasurable measures!

If tired, I cast myself upon lands flowing true and fair
seeing magnificence in Earth, Life, Nature- everywhere
Before dawn, before slumber flees this soul's poetry dreams
of paradise shores, poetic thoughts, soft cast golden beams
Winds of change and sublime words to describe and thus to match
castles of hope, beauty's grace and golden eggs- set to hatch!

Fearing not of, high flying fancies and heavenly flights
of lost romantic desires, cast adrift on stormy nights
Or that of abandoned ships left behind in gleaming seas
for poetry gifts its love and blessings of granted pleas
Bountiful harvests of word-seeds so pleasurably sown
are but summer days sending cool winds so gratefully blown!

What holds more resplendent gifts of the great and vast beyond
than poetry, its powers, which poets are so very fond
How its paintings, colors memories one sweetly recalls
of life, living and flames of hot-romance youth often falls
Beyond poetic seas of white-cropped waves and foaming foam
may this old poet's soul, in death, forever gaily roam!

Rhyme, (Inspired verse) (Poetry is Life and Treasure too)

Note- I dedicate this poem to my very good friend Susan Ashley and her wondrously inspiring new poem that inspired me to write this today.
Her new poem titled, The Red Leaf- set me to thinking of its beautiful poetry
and life. And how much poetry means to so many dedicated and in love with poetry poets!
I sat down and this flowed right on out, early this morn.

Note: Use in my poem of "white-cropped" = "white" for good, "cropped" for "appearing unexpectedly".
Thus translated- beyond poetic seas of = unexpectedly good waves and foaming foam.

Premium Member God's Vast Sky Answer Me

The shooting star across the Heavens, stops my eye.
I wonder at this marvel in the nighttime sky.
I feel a yearn
watching it burn.
Will the stars take note when leaving is my turn?

My thoughts turn to the vastness of the sky,
wondering will I find my way there when I die?
Oh, blessed Lord,
I trust Your word,
that you'll take me home forever, is no lie.

What was the purpose of the star that fell?
Did it have a job to do and do it well?
Is it on God's list?
Will it be missed?
I beg the stars to answer. They resist.

The clouds roll in; the evening turns cold.
No time to let my jumbled thoughts unfold.
Dreams of the night
may shed some light.
Meanwhile my thoughts disperse like birds in flight.

God gave me so many blessings at my birth
and everything I need on His green Earth.

A Vast And Exploding Night Sky

I dreamt of a vast and exploding night sky
lights by the billions soaring on by
Silence was fast dancing,I know not why
waiting for message as night did fly!

Each breeze flickered the big glowing sight
and thoughts matched the echoes of glee
Love touches waltzed with the beaming light
each caressing the yearning heart in me.

I dreamt of an angel, winging right on down
whispering she sought true deep love
As she fluttered there in her brilliant gown
winged beauty from the Heavens above.

I dreamt of a vast and exploding night sky
lights by the billions soaring on by
Silence was fast dancing,I know not why
waiting for message as night did fly!

No sound, the utter silence danced its tune
So strangely missing, was the smiling moon!

Vast Emptiness

~

as I gaze out upon the
tranquil surface of a moonlit ocean
I am taken by the vast emptiness
that I see

and I wonder if this
perpetual body of water
is taken by the vast emptiness
that is me

Premium Member I see myself as a fragile thread in the vast tapestry of existence

I see myself as a fragile thread in the vast tapestry of existence, stretched under the weight of doubt,
In the silence of my mind, the whispers of shortcomings haunt me like an unyielding echo,
I feel abandoned by my own reflection, wandering among the shadows of bitter regret,
The world becomes a merciless mirror, showing me only the flaws that frighten me,
I label my wounds as if their names could justify the existence of pain,
I see mistakes as evidence of unworthiness, imperfections as heavy chains.
I struggle with the question of purpose, seeking my place in the complicated dance of life,
Do I deserve the good things, or are they just unforeseen accidents of fate?
Am I capable of creating a brighter path, or will I wander in darkness, lost in doubts?
And yet, deep in my soul, a hope flickers like the first light of dawn,
It whispers that I am more than the scars and fears that define me.
Perhaps I can rewrite the story, finding the courage to believe in my worth,
To see myself as capable of love, growth, and renewal, even in fragility,
For beauty lies in the most broken pieces if we have the courage to look,
In this journey of self-discovery, light shines through the cracks,
And perhaps we will learn to love ourselves not despite our flaws, but because of them,
For true beauty blooms when we dare to see the brilliance within us.

Quote By Poet: "God's pretty colors paint a pretty day for us to enjoy."

Morning awakes with the sun peeking over the hill,
a bright yellow light says get up and be on your way.
The noon day,
shows blue skies with white fluffy clouds.
Ending the day with a beautiful sunset,
made up of many colors from pink to purple.
The vast day has been filled with God's pretty color palate,
only He can paint such a pretty day for us to enjoy.
Look up,
and give praise.

Premium Member Vast Oceans Must Last

I love watching documentaries of nature,
Full of enchanting momentous adventure,
But my favourite by far is the ocean,
As it beckons and teasingly invites us
To look at a world we could never
Imagine, serene, silent, secretive,
Spectacular, incredible, and daring,
In a magical way breathtakingly alluring,
My heart resides with the passionate,
Who proudly, and painstakingly
Dive and venture into oceans and
Waters unknown, allowing us to peep,
Into an azure Aqualand, insanely so deep,
Where incredible species of fish and
Outrageous phenomenal plant life,
Astonish and mesmerize human life,
Never to bid us farewell,
As stories spanning eras magically spell,
Bound us, invoke fantasies back to
The beginning of time when galaxies
Looked down and with infectious delight,
Smiled wisely upon our planet
With a knowing, futuristic magnetic,
Mischievousness, enjoying it’s
Confounding aesthetic
Layers of anonymity, of underwater history
Until finally one beautiful day,
Pandora’s box opens revealing to us our
Oceans mystery.
I marvel at knowledge collected,
Intensely reported and documented,
So please don't pollute our oceans so vast,
And promise to keep such, forever to last.

-this Vast Abundance of Ours-

Think in abundance and abundance will be yours

The million of stars for you to gaze upon

The thousands upon thousands of leaves on the trees around

Oodles and oodles of grains of sand to walk on

The vast atmosphere of air to breath with

The million upon millions of litres of water

Running in the rivers to thirst upon

The trillions of thoughts coarsing thro' our mind

The vast spaciousness of the galaxies

       Of infinite unknown dimensions

To play and romp in fields of flowers and grasses

To rest your body and eyes upon

What abundance we have in store

What monies can be bared and paid at the door

Of our bounteous gifts bestowed in glory

And from the Father's love from the start of history

Pray as if you have already recieved we're told

Believe that you already have the requested lot

Then let it not for a moment be forgotten too

To take the moment and thank and be thankful for

Be gracious with your bounty in store

Give freely so that you can freely receive too

For not one cent can you at the close of the hour

Take on the journey to be with the Father evermore

Premium Member Equates To a Single Blood Vessel In the Vast Depth Called Myself

First name
unique, generous, wondrous, enigmatic, hopeful
Sister of Madonna, Gail, Chris, Diane and Heather
Lover of life, puzzles, people's laughter and language
Who feels loves intensity with hope
Who fears the dark, enclosed spaces, yet feels fearless in the breeze
Who would like to see the masses succeed
Resident of home, a warm embrace, a tender touch
Surname

I found this structure boring and unimaginative and mundane in a world enriched with such flavoursome musings - I unapologetically ruined the form with pride and decided the words below were more entertaining for your reading pleasure... Enjoy me

An ounce of ratbag, a giggle, a bounce and slide,
she puts on her socks and polishes the floor with her moves,
the running dive onto the bed is never a question and she loves to sneak up and tickle.
Frosted grass, and a breaky sunrise eaten from the curb, delights her heart and inspires her mind.
Her one love - a child of impossibility - held on by hope; a chance to live, to laugh.
Intrigued by the landscape of colour, enlightened by touch, cleansed in a breeze.
A smile to light up the dark, delivers a truth profound, generous in love in all its forms.
A dancer in a world of statues, grounded and real, she will lift you up and hold you til your ready.
Musically, she paints the tragic world with grace, sensually depicting each space, raw and defined.
A family of separated ties has carved an independence so fierce she is rarely displaced.
Adopted by the masses, free in spirit she maintains faith, home is all she needs and finds that in many: a comfortable easy smile, a gift of coffee, an open door - embraced.
Loved.

A friendship gift, a unique beautiful ride, buckle up she's arrived...

Vast is my love - vast as an ocean
with feelings as deep as a sea.
Tides rise or fall; waves come and go,
but passion flows always from me.

Vast is my love - vast as a forest.
With you I am always at ease.
Moments we've shared are plentiful as
the woodland's mighty oak trees.

Vast is my love - vast as a desert
as our years have drifted like sand.
Our time will go on, for you're my oasis
and true love our lifetime has spanned.

Vast is my love - vast as the sky
though cloudy sometimes, mostly clear
and sunny are days we have known.
Forever I'll love you, my dear.

Vast Reflection

light year daze
objects burst in seams and blaze
starry blinks

farther still
burning in a fiery haze
planets turn

vast in sight
dark and bright in part and whole
earth reflects

Plundered Fortune

Doomed to be alone
As my sorrow swells in me
Immersed beneath the waves
of this hopeless misery
While pondering the oceans
Of each, mistake I've ever made
All of those unworthy
My true love that I had gave
Only to be broken by a sea
of crushing tides
An abyss of suffering
filled with dark
and endless lies
Reminded by the winds
of my dreams, they'd never be
To sail away with him
And feel his kiss
Upon the breeze
Where loves a priceless treasure
A last chance for nothing less
Then a dance that swirels forever
To it's deepest, vastest depths
Lost within the storm
that flows beyond these shores I see
To plunge into it's noble blue
Embraced by he
Who's life
is loving me
And with my last and final breath
I'd fade into it's blackest trench
That's where I long to be
With you and you alone
For all eternity

Premium Member Vast Variety of Race

Civilizations used white to mitigate the lack of black.
Black is not just skin color but also a human spirit.
Imagine indigenous people having red skin plaque!!
While things seem disastrous, it is just painted on it.

Civility will be total only If all races are treated fairly.
Thus, do not squander your life if time runs limited.
Not the same as 1960s; CRT has no sign of diversity.
CRT prep does not contain a notion of finitude.

Light exposes everything in some way or another.
The sight of a wacky mind is preferred above others.
Superior words develop at the moment they recover.
There is no compelling reason to blame our ancestors.

Nature will piddle it happen if she so discovers.

Life develops for its own durability.
Shaded Earths mutate regularly.
To preserve impartiality, we should be blind.
For exploring, notice the hues of parental rind.

Our fragility leads to family growth progeny.

It is plausible to identify prominence.
When do we have complete awareness?
People are forced to crack without food.  ?
Without the deemed necessary mood.

CRT is a crucial forerunner of our world's drooping.
And we're all equal; all have the endowment to evolving.
The modern age is replete with hate; thus, let's end it.
Let's not fail to renew forgiveness to the world's past.

Vast Huge World

Young boy, fritter not your days inside
For, myriad outdoor splendors wait,
A vast, huge world you’ve left untried,
Now go! Discover flowers ornate,

For, myriad outdoor splendors wait
Where glowing screens won’t mystify.
Now, go discover flowers ornate,
Find flora and fauna to satisfy

Where glowing screens won’t mystify.
Dare climb a tree, have both your eyes
Find flora and fauna to satisfy
And marvel at earth, its scope and size;

Dare climb a tree, have both your eyes
Venture, at last, into countryside
And marvel at earth, its scope and size;
Unplug those games, cast phone aside,

Venture at last into countryside,
A vast, huge world you’ve left untried.
Unplug those games, cast phone aside:
Young boy, fritter not your days inside!

Vast Love

The love that kisses with a tasteless tear
A pain that can’t be painted on the soul
A longing for a place without a fear
Longing for a feeling that makes me whole
Beloved, words can’t heal my tattered heart.
As thorns pass me by the pain cant compare
That of the pain of being torn apart
Even the wind howls about it I swear
Tell me was falling in love my mistake
I chose my own fate and decided to stay
I will not let this love become forsaken
Love can’t just get up and spirit away
Love is worth overcoming a mountain
My love for you flows like a vast fountain
