On Rode the Valiant

Through the gates of Absalom,
steed and gate did ride,
charging fast and furious
o'er centuries gone by;
peace did shout in vain,
the Lidless Prophets...
must come again,
nigh is the evening sky
but full of hope

The ramparts held fast, ballast and beam,
cannon-fire bombasting flesh and bone,
groans of death ---
such dreary breath!
of decay centuries old

The Rose of all that is Earth,
her petals unsheathed,
torn for time ---
tear and antiquity ---
her red sheen lilts in the new day sun,
begging for Love, she asks:

Shall they come?

A Valiant Fight

I don’t want to go, you said
The words still echo in my head
Valiantly you held on tight
Loving life, even as you had to give up the fight
A month of hell, six weeks at least
It seemed so sudden
And yet long expected
If only in September I knew it was the last month of “normal”
Quality time with my family as a whole
Nightly rituals of television, Pogo games, and time with the dogs
Bi-weekly trips of life extending drugs
The poison slowly creeping into the bloodstream
Trying to keep the ever growing monsters from being the winning team.
For only so long can one enjoy only the taste of a flavor
Before it prematurely snuffs the light and all is over
You fought bravely
We lost dearly

She Was My Sister My Once Valiant Hero

She was my sister, so pretty so strong
She made me feel as though I belonged
She sang to me of angels and god
She came to me whenever I called
But then one day an evil overtook
My loving sister I found as she shook
I found her one day on her bedroom floor
A bottle of pills and needles unsure
With tears in her eyes she told me one thing
That I was her hero
She asked me to sing
The song that I sung was of angels and god
But this one last time it was me that she called
And with one last hard breath
She breathed no more
And she died right there on her bed room floor
I started to scream I stood just to fall
My mother came running and was shocked at what she saw
She picked up the phone and called 911
With tears in her eyes she told what she saw
Only minutes later we heard the sirens near
The doctors rushed in announced she was dead
And silently took my hero to her bed
My sister the angel still helps me along
She sings to me of angels and god
And she answers me now whenever I call
She was my sister my once valiant hero
She is my sister, who’s now with god.

Valiant Pegasus

‘When only the satellites are spared in the distance
And the mother ship has lost her spin around the axis
When our last personal effects are launched in a capsule,
And we’re all gone, is there proof that we had a soul?’

My wings span Armageddon’s aftermath
Feet far removed from the scotching earth
Fluffed pillows suffocate my insomnia
I levitate on a bed of euphoria

‘I’m a warrior
I’m a survivor’

Gifted tongues for fangs
We bridge turbulent waters
Gifted hands instead of claws
We reap what we sow

I stencil my thoughts on the fabric of time
And flap my wings to all forms of freedom
I know my presence is a gift
And to deny others of me is theft

My palms bare blisters from the grasping of endless doors
They bleed from the endless digging of granite floors
I stare high at the bar of unrealised dreams within
And summon the valour to face (my worst nightmares) the griffin

Gifted talents instead of talons
We sore to greater heights
Gifted honour instead of bloodlust
We embrace all that is new and different
Gifted vision instead of eagle eyes
We envisage a brighter ever after

Wing tips tingling in the winds of change
I fly beyond to define a new age (a new world)
I fall to the warm embrace of novelty
Newton never invented gravity

Gifted hope instead of ropes
We are the emancipated hope(s)
Gifted longevity instead of nine lives
We appreciate what we’ve been gifted evermore

'May the soul never die'

Valiant Quietness

Brave and noble knight
Afraid to admit defeat
Lonely silent death

A Valiant Knight

A Valiant Knight

Death springs a new day basking in the breeze
In solemn moments lets pause to think of a place
A far off castle in the mountains away from it all
A valiant knight lived in the structure of it's dwelling
Those days of old where mere men had a noble demise
A beautiful maiden was in waiting for her knight
He would often fight for the cause of stregnth and dignity
The draw bridge where the castle stood had a very unique aura
A mystery of sort sought up in the vast array of crowned nobility

For the king on his thrown was humble yet greedy
Always would take care of himself caring nothing for the needy
A valiant knight was concerned about the kings trust
Often they would disagree on who it was to serve
A joker came in front of the king one day with a magic wand
Waving the wand in the air then there floated ivy everywhere
For the court jester was a fool in the making of his legacy
The maiden would often come forth and see

For she treasured a red rose that was plucked sometime before
Cherished the calling of her stature to the glory of the throne
A valiant knight would often sing sweet songs in the night
Had a following of village people that would sit before his feet
Having a way of words that he would often share
The castle was filled with dragons and warlocks searching for love
A cause to be brave amidst uncertainty of the kingdom
The legacy of golden capulets filled ardent vestibules
Let us toast to the valiant knight who keeps a watch on all that is good

Premium Member My Valiant Knight

You are my Galahad, the purest and noblest of knights,
in your light, others are but shadows in the dark.
Valiant, stalwart, and compassionate,
you take my hand in yours, and I'm in heaven.
You are the rock that I cling to in dangerous waters
and the anchor that keeps my dreams from drifting away.

When I needed a hero to believe in, you were there,
you're all I've ever wanted, and all I'll ever want.
Oh, gentle heart, you are the sun and the stars,
and I bask in the light of your love.

Without you, the birds refuse to sing,
the sun suddenly sets, and darkness descends.
You are my love, my life, my everything.
Forged in the flames of passion
two hearts and two souls melded into one,
and they've become inseparable.
Come to me my liege, let us embrace
and cherish this time together;
sharing one heart, one soul, and one love.

The Valiant Spirit

Behold, the Valiant Spirit! housed in a young vibrant body;
A litty like a titty;
Endowed with telepathy;
In this age of complexity.

I marvel at your smile that makes the day bright;
Your soft words that infuse strength;
And your words so refined.
Indeed, you're one of a kind.

Oh Valor!
Uphold thy honor
That those who seek for thy favor
May have a new experience to savor.

Folks, listen when he speaks.
Friends, feel the dimples on his cheeks;
For he smiles like a dove
And his heart like the blue sky above.

Striving for happiness is a long, hard journey with many challenges. It requires eternal vigilance to win the victory. You cannot succeed with sporadic little flashes of effort. Constant and valiant living is necessary. By Jack H. Goaslind

We owe so much to the brave men and women
Your sacrifice for America will never be forgotten
You deserve our focus and will never be blasted
America recognizes virtues you've never tasted.

Smugglers die many times before their deaths
Heroes rarely die twice without gentle breaths,
Nothing is difficult for a courageous heart
Few who fight dust and blood do their depart.

Who will recognize the triumph of a great victory?
And worst of all, who will fail in defying history?
Earn a vow to be brave and desire to be bright,
Decide to be dynamic and attempt to be right.

Be brave and courageous when pressure is high,
The greatest act of obduracy, a talent could display
Motivate another person to exert their imagination
Bear hold of your life and strive for any situation.

Various names have been given to the future
It can't be done by those who pursue a suitor,
It is unknown to those who are afraid of heights
And yet, it's ideal for the brave, of valiant sights.

What we retain is most crucial than what we read
It's not intentions but actions that lend us deeds,
We don't achieve our goals by wishing for them
But it is a lifelong fight to render us a valiant gem.

If you're valiant, you will have our full respect
You might be killed anyway due to some defect,
One shouldn't place a high value on the criticism
It's not fair to feed praise to an arena of cynicism.

The Execution of the Valiant Man

Calm sits a valiant man inside of a dungeon
In Darkness sits a monk inside of a Monastery
And On this night they both share the same thoughts
how long God untill I am free from here
Footsteps resound down through the hall
They Listen as the sound goes back and forth
The Valiant man awaits his execution
The monk has been put in charge of reading his last rights
Now we hear the murmur as the crowd gathers
They are laughing and joking with one another
The Valiant man smiles because he too finds his death enjoyable
It's relaxing I must agree with him
And why is the monk so scared of death
The Final bell is rung
And There dressed in black
under the black hood is the executioner
He runs his finger down the blade of his ax
He looks up here comes the Valiant man
And for the first time on the job
He is faced with fear
His composure faulters
His finger slips and droplets of blood
Fall from the fresh cut
Now there's a battle fuaght inside his mind
Because he knows
that this execution will torture him forever
Silence falls over the crowd
This proud look of this mighty warrior
Commands respect and they observe it
The Monk stumbles but he does not trip up when he speaks
My Son are you ready to make peace with your Maker
Thank you Father, but me and God have never been in opposition
The Monks says You"re what the prophets wrote about
When they wrote about Valiant men
Son forgive me I am curious
How many men did it take to capture you
He say's I don't know i killed them all
Father look around, I killed every man in the King's army
And I would of did it a long time ago
If i knew that they was going to reward me by sending me back to my Father
Let the peace of God be with you Monk
And with those words This worthy man falls to the ground
The Executioner can't bring himself to raise the ax
And this Valiant man taunts him in the face of death
Please do it! I never ask a coward for a favor

I always dream of life with you
And remember the sweetest day
When love was innocent..and true
I finally asked you to stay

A moment that drifts forever
In the wishful valiant heart
When we crossed the times of never
And found we'd never part

To cherish time we're given
Bound by silent binds that hold
To know hearts are forgiven
For the stillness when we're old

I'll hold your hands so tender
A need with its own allure
The patience that they render
And the pleasure we're secure

A moment that drifts forever
In the wishful valiant heart
When we crossed the times of never
And found we'd never part

Valiant He Man

He is a selfless King
To his golden castle
Sacrificed everything
For his generosity he was belittled
To rule his kingdom
Of loyal Brethren and kin
And protect this freedom
For the eternal love of his Queen

~Happy father’s day – another reminder and a show of appreciation for your selflessness and generosity~

Premium Member Tears of a Valiant Soldier

A valiant soldier stands before me
Eyes flooding with tears.
In one mere teardrop
I see significance, joy and fears.

I see experience and courage
And wisdom beyond years.
Battles fought. Some won. Some lost.
A hope that's grown, then disappeared.

A valiant soldier pure and true
Whose armoury is LOVE.
No need for weapons of destruction.
Someone to be proud of.

A soldier worthy of imitation.
An individual of fascination.
A person of inspiration.
A heart fighting to be free.

In one teardrop of a valiant soldier
I see a reflection of what could be.
I see the qualities that amount to
The kind of person one aspires to be.

The valiant advance ahead with grace,
Prefer the death of honour to disgrace,
And they beautify the pages of history,
When waves of tyranny run and race.
