I Am

I am A shadow That lurks on The wall that has No Home None at all But to have no home a
Shadow would say is worst way to live out each day.

I am The shower cap covered in rust i do not work right but I am a must so you put up
with me for the time being until you used me all for your need.

I am an outcast who sits alone who is treated like I do not belong and goes off alone to
cry plotting his end as others laugh at me and spin wicked lies about things I've done
making me wish i ended it with a gun.

I am the friend you once had that moved away and made you sad but said good by and turned
away as you tried to stop me and make me stay but i smile and say the words you wished to
hear all those years.

I am me a young man with hope who ends his day trying to cope with the withdraws from
drugs like dope and cry's as he chokes on his own words when he looks at you and you spit
and curve away from me and all i did was say hi to ye but it wasn't you that made me cry
it was the feeling of wanting to die to hide away from the world from those who say
I Am a mess a nothing a no one.

You Never Believe Me, Do You?

You never believe me
You never do
So what’s the point of loving you?
If you don’t even care I do?
In that collapsing moment
In that lack of care, of believe
I shouted and yelled
It’s like I’m talking to someone with no ears
I repeat my words yelling louder
Louder to seize my right, my existence!
As I threw rubbishing words at you
And said it with all my heart: I don’t love you!
I’m afraid I might lose you, but I think I already did
You speak to me “you wait for us to arrive home to eat
With us and instead we cause you problems”
I exploded in rage, protecting my actions
But you never listen, do you?
As I repeated the single line, again and again
And in the end, you just said:
“You arrive home, fight together, so why shall I wait for you?”
My heart and mind just fell into throbbing sadness
You never listen!
Do you? The tears of truth just kept falling down my face
Asking what did I do!
Either you’re deaf, or you ignore everything I say
It is as I never talked to you
You call yourself “stupid” for buying me some sweet I like
I said thank you, without hearing the last part
I realized what you have said
I threw the spoon!
You took me out of appetite; you took me out of life
I explained again and again, heading to my room
I inhaled, exhaled, and acted for you
With red-face madness and “sanity”
After for all, you just said: go put Quran
But I just told you, I don’t know where the CD is?
Go put it yourself! I don’t want to put anything!
“I do not love you!”
You closed the door gently
As I came to this desk, and wrote all what my heart had said
So you either just listen, or ignore me just liked the others did
I needed a hug…
I needed a kiss…
But I just wrote…,
All that my heart can confess

The Legend of a Lyricist

I am what you would call the last.
The outcast of a breed,
fading so fast
that people loose track of its original art.
Its original words spoken from the heart.
Twisted to form a dreadfully big part of todays young minded.
Twisted to make people live so frightened.
I am the last of a dying breed.
A lyricist set to bring people a new creed.
Hope that I will make the correction.
Hope, that I will become a legend.
The one. The only.
Francisco Martinez: Changed the game slowly.
Somebody once told me:
"your words will change a life."
He told me I will become this generations muse.
I took that in and believe I'll never loose.
Still, the last of a dying breed.
Give me a pencil and I'll personally plant the seed.
Will personally lead the next generation of the American Dream.
Bring back the history of the verse.
And don't be the first,to doe of the thirst that causes this curse to only get worse
and worse.
Follow me my fellow lyricists.
Believe that we will come back from this.
Pencil at hand, let's rebel out of the abyss.

Why I Write Poems

i write to ease my brain.
like an alcoholic twisting off the top of the bottle with PAIN.

the words just flow easier then when i speek.
i can't express how i'm feeling at times my words r ALL combined n my cheek.
n then a few words leak.
but it's not coming out right, so n my head i go, thoughts i SEEK.

i write to let people read the REAL me.
like a book u kno the character but the figure u can't see.
it's somethin i hide behind.
but kno the true me you'll find.
i raise the pen and put it to the paper n begin to let u be un-BLIND.

as a child with no father, mother's working late.
i write n my little notebook to take the focus off my hate.
my hate for our situation me mom n sis for food we wait.
i'm 9 what can i do to help the situation we're facin.
little me just bracin.
for no food when i return home from school.
mom does what she can she'd starve 4 days 4 us she aint uh fool.
to hear kids make fun of our cloth's n wonder how at this age can u b so cruel.

i write 4 many reasons some i don't even know.
but thru my poems my mind does nothing but grow.
my true feeling's i show.
what i'v been thru by looking at me not 1 person would know.
even as i grow.
i put on a show.

i write cuz it's like my drug of choice right now.
i'm writting for hour's, head's clear then reality hits POW.
i wish my mind could let me be i just don't see how.

when my world is goin crazy u can turn it all around.
writtin my poem everything around is a peacful sound.
n my head i try to grab the thought i found.

but my minds got so much n it spinning like me.
i write so my evrything lets me be.
n my mother ME is what i SEE.
