Best Unrepairable Poems

Broken Bottle

Being hurt is being human, now I know
been blind all this while, this I never saw
Inside a bottle I am placed,I am controlled
A sad story of love told, I am duped.
Never going back, this is an unrepairable crack
I thought I was on top of her stack
only to realize in lies I am stuck.

love has fallen, A tender heart is broken
my joy is taken, my heart is frozen
Foolish lies not so wise
infidelity has a big price
A must payed price
A dead end of love
A dark dead end.

Anger and stress
whole body aches
Lost trust in the female species
very promising,no evidence of wrong turns
Trace the truth a warehouse of lies
The bottle is broken I am now free.

Deceptions of the Heart

Funny how a path can lead you to the truth when you least expect it.
Life’s crazy way of leading the blind to what they choose not to see.
What stubborn hearts won’t let us hear when we’re deafened by sweet words.
Words desired by a heart more than willing to listen.
From the start you came into my life with deception being your intention.
To ravish what purity of love my soul still had to give someone.
With your charm you lured me in like bait on a hook.
With your kiss you stained my lips with your poison.
With your hands you singed my skin with sinful touches meant for lovers.
You had me right where you wanted me, breathless, paralyzed, and yearning for more.
For another dose of the illusory love you portrayed for me.
Wasn’t long before you suddenly had to go, to where I wondered?
Back to where you had come from in the first place, to her arms, her lips and her heart.
Unwittingly to her or me at the game of hopscotch you were playing between our hearts.
Undeserving of the heartache at the discovery of your unfaithfulness.
How dare you toy with the emotion of the heart with the chance of damage being unrepairable.
To reduce my heart to useless fragments of bleeding flesh within my chest.
Like a snake charmer you hypnotized me to believe your lies.
Using me as just some stepping stone to carry you further than you could go alone.
Miserable in your own exsistence of what the game of life has dealt you.
You found me and played your hand to your own advantages.
The sad part is I seen so much more in you than a mirror would’ve reflected.
Perhaps if that mirror had been two sided I would’ve seen straight through you.
Damaged and broken you left me to heal what you had destroyed.
Every tear fell with purpose of sealing the seams of my broken heart.
Repairing all that will be shielded more vigilantly than before.

Premium Member So Far Away

Once I held you close
My dear sweet loveless soul
So rigid cold jagged your
Edges left unrepairable scars
Tears caress my cheeks
Lingering in the fine lines
Of age so dimly left by time
But it was always you
Every dream every plan
You were just deaf to
My words my meaning
Distance blackened my heart
At times I felt dead
But until your ashes
Filtered through my hand
Despair disjointed tenderness
No longer alive and well
Or was it ever?
If but Love would it have
Died as fast as you?
I ask but I cannot answer
For I do not know
Lonely despair and emptiness
A void left unfilled
Miracles are madness
Faith is undaunting
Hope is but a glimmer
Of the next light of day.

Empty canvass.

Your periscope
Will never
reach my center.

Unless I attribute
Your Felix and
such ridiculousness.

Silly am I?
Well perhaps
It is my unrepairable
Libido now.

And the elderly
Weep while I partake
In sinfulness.

But of course,
we are of the
Thirdkind.

And indeed
A swing-set
Cannot fix this.

And you didn’t make me
I formed myself
From the periodic table
with a little help
You added slurs and
blackened my milk
Turned me into a scapegoat
and my flesh to filth

And you never broke me
I smashed up myself
Unseen fractures
healed wrong by themselves
Broke the mold early
was looking too good
Patriarchally cast
as the whore of love

And you cannot destroy me
I’ll do it by myself
Sick of covering up
what never turned out
The unseen twists
and labyrinth of lies
I’ve no f*cking soul
a doubt, or denial

And you’ll never fix me
It’s down to myself
I look in the mirror
pondering why else
All this potential
rotting away inside
Necrotic failure
unrepairable child

And I cannot be forgiven
I’ll find a way myself
For being too perfect
lacking self respect
On freak show earth
a man made planet
falling to bits
You pious can have it

greatest story ever written ~ will not be penned with a kids mitten

apples perhaps said she to Adam ~ my fruits were never forbidden

a fig leaf rose one more fell ~ as the whore of man Lilith got bitten

Quest the shove your fate, my mate.
With the advice of the dough of joy sate,
To coincidentally run into one's soulmate.
In the way of other options, we baste.

Though worries were springing up thus briskly,
Settle on the result to uphold the rules swiftly.
Equally, dismiss woe's ragged remnants slickly.
Hunting by dint of endless strides befittingly,

Unrepairable harm might initiate uneasiness.
Shouldn't we venerate oddity and cleverness?
On the overall sum of scars stockpiled across,
Reliance is reckoned by integrity uprightness.

Defying scarcity's mayhem with disdain.
It doesn't reckon what term may sustain.
Unremorseful acknowledgment of a reign.
Each hurdle was cruelly drawn with pain.

Even if gentle, one should build expertise.
People-pleasing in the face of harsh peruse,
May use risk to gain fortune and to get wise.
Outperforming one's inner welfare also increases.

Yet, read stories' old age lots on the oozy listing.
Those that kiss beasts hazard flotsam beguiling.
While hunting for skill's idea, that follows on daring
Divine treasures that hazard using lugs embracing.

wounded earth

Wounded Earth

we did a big deal to destroy your dear earth
coming from a broken heart for you
letting you to melt in our quest of unending race
making you more sick and week

asking for forgiveness would be not enough
the damage is long long bigger
the trees mountains waters and air of you destroyed
bigger than the lenghts human greed

we have caused eminent damage unrepairable maybe
but have mercy on us
as we are children of your green womb
care for us still we are the piece of you

still we have for forgiveness
from our wounded earth
as want to repent for our deeds
from our melting hearts

forgive your children for the forbidden deeds
the surface of yours is not green now
the scars are deep and arid
still your children seeks mercy from you

Premium Member the competition

(this is another throw-back - a piece of writing, from high school, used in my Yale applications)

I pound the pillow, curse the clock and mock injunctions to rest.

The sun finally rises and its rays slantwise fall through the curtains as I dry my hair.

A meal, like a forced dose, we soak ourselves in wasted, nervous time.

Finally! We arrive at the competition...

Tension is here and tireless pressure.

The players waiting stiff as straw, tongues playing over dry lips.

Teachers and coaches unapologetic in their pallor.

Music drifts behind us and occasionally gasps as imperfections play like daring circus tricks.

The sparkling prodigy returns disappointed, grimace of a smile, stricken, he stares away as we search for words, oh! clumsy, unrepairable prince!

Suddenly, its time and I wonder why we are hurrying, feeling weak, momentarily frightened to go there.

On this stage in this great, hushed hall, enormity suddenly dawns with mass enough to crush me.

At last, I sit before this odd Steinway music machine - my dearest mechanical friend.

A tremble resisted - the reward of mortal afternoons - endless practices fruit.

Eyes closed I prepare my best self - pushing all fear, all doubt, to the margins - and begin.

I hope, to recreate, one note at a time, Chopin's ancient impact - with hands flying, like tethered birds, I hammer out his timeless melody explosions, his streams of crazily exact math exam fiery semiquaver motions.. then, almost suddenly, I'm done.

I stand, joyously, nearly crying.. The world hasn't ended.

I thought I was going to be a concert pianist once - before covid.
Did you know there are piano recital competitions?
I wasn't a prodigy, I practiced endlessly, only to lose, eventually to one of the prodigies.
I competed in 7 'big ones,' two were international, and I came in second every time.
My joke was, "I'm the second-best pianist in any room.
I only switched my goals (to medicine - sort of the family business) when that fell through (Thanks, one more time, covid).

Unrepairable Heart

Born and raised in you
You, I heard in my dreams
Dreams made me live you alive
Alive, you were all of me

I walked and slept in you
You were my sun and my rain
Rain filled up and down my brain
Brain, without you I was vain

You conceived and commanded my acts
Acts were the blood in my veins
But today all is gone in day dreams
Dreams left me with bleeding wounds

You have killed me all alive
Alive, I am with these unrepairable hurts
Hurts make me live dead forever
Ever I madly trusted you, love
Love, I am a fool innocent victim

Presidential Debating

Presidential debating
Will be a little strange
Only two to listen to
Not many to arrange

Just Hillary and Donald
Throwing lefts and rights
The only ones left standing
After the preliminary fights

We the people will be lucky
If we hear some substance there
In politics as love and war
All and everything is fair

One's a liar, one's a fool
Neither one of them's correct
Too bad we can't recall them
For unrepairable defect

Hope I'm wrong about all this
Hope one can rise above the fray
Hope one of them will be worthwhile
Hope we don't have to rue the day

Twas the Night Before Cexmas

This poem was submitted for a work competition at CEX

Twas the first day of CeXmas, and all through the land
The taverns were a buzz as grog was in hand,
Participants were giddy about the quests they would face
All vying to be top, in the coveted first place

The gems are the goal and need to be hoarded
For these will determine your position and what prizes you’re awarded
But before you go forth and slay your way through
Let's meet the teams and see what each are upto

The Blizzard wizards are getting people whipped into a flurry
Their ice cold talons grabbing any dropped gems in a hurry
There were poems, songs and even a russian dance
All being used to put their rivals in a trance

In the cold outside the Pine Fresh Paladins are lingering
You can hear their swords clash, and their frozen bells jingling!
They have too much honour for tricks like the wizards
They would rather a battle to rip out your gizzards.

Some were stealthier in their approach, despite being upto no good
Robyn’s raiders were silent, all was good in their hood
Their archers were poised and ready to shoot
If anyone even thought about raiding their loot

If you’re caught by Jurassic bards, the damage is unrepairable
They could bust an ear drum with a song, they are genuinely quite pterrible
Their hunter will stalk you, don't risk your bag being empty
For you must toss a gem to their witcher, in the tavern of plenty

Now if you want to steal gems, you wont get them from this lot
They are locked in a chest, in the legendary Tenacious G spot
Some say it can only be uncovered whilst playing a song on a flute
The greatest guild in the world? Or are they just a tribute?

Last but not least, Nakotomi nightmares hide in the mist
(its still being debated if they should be on a christmas guild list)
Why should you fear them more than a wizard, paladin or bard?
Because they have a machine gun, be prepared to die hard.

You have met the six guilds, pick your team and get ready
But don't forget the rules, after all there aren't many
Visit the tavern each day, and gems you will gain
Gather as many as you can, then make it rain!

Premium Member If Only, I Wish, Maybe

If Only…I Wish…Maybe…

If only…
Shards of shame
Lay splintered
In unresolved pieces –
Bits of crystal intentions
Unrepairable…

I wish…
Minutes of regret
Not revived –
Living unreachable
In lifeless echoes sighing
No resuscitation…

Why…
In a whirlwind
A tornado
Uproots shallow graves
Screams at the unknowable
Unanswered…

Yeah but…
Expletives excuse -
Bargains with
The blank face of denial
Unrelenting tears of truth -
Pacing energy…

Maybe…
A star at midnight -
A wishing star -
Bends down in prayer
Points to a northern light
Always there…

Could it be…
Time makes a way -
Ascending
From ashes of stone -
Grace has its own mission
Acceptance.

Immortality Is Fanciful

Like antique china that slips through clumsy fingertips
Shattered into tiny fragments
Unrepairable, unreplaceable
A blameless mistake
It's beauty disintegrates
Never to be appreciated again
By future enthusiasts

Like a daisy tweaked from the vast landscape
Once admired by all that stumbled upon it
Basking in the summer sun
Life dragged from its roots
Crippled at its fragile stem
It will never grow again
Petals float onto a zephyr
Carried away to where distant memories lie

Like A man surrounded by family, promises,
All snatched spontaneously away.
that love that encapsulates him
At first a void remains, as his memory lives on
Until it becomes so vague
It inevitably expires

Premium Member In a Split Second Ii

A train door closes packed with passengers.

Destinations being most different than others.

Typical light touches, embarrassing rubbing,
Lastly, the ever so bothersome nudging.

Unfinished conversations, from platform
Carries on within the overcrowded train.

Yapping and gabbing, defined as gossiping,
Amidst disgruntled passengers within-earshot.

Young teen of a nimble mind, lights a cigarette,
To a host of an onslaught accord that repeats,
All trains are non-smoking so put it out you creep!

An infant goes from a whispering innocent alto coo,
To an uncontrollable, unstoppable, sopranos' scream,
Unheedful to weariful pleads of failing-to-comfort bass.

A newspaper that was fully read, is now being
Reread from its beginning, cites boredom
From too long of a wait, passing time fruitlessly.

An out-of-town couple, ask an old guy to take
Their picture, but to everybody's surprise, he
Took the camera and slammed it to the train
Floor, whereto, it broke into unrepairable pieces,
"Hi-ya!" was heard, a karate chop is all was needed,
So down for the count, the old pus was out,
Camera pieces and out-of-town couple all gone,
And gossips continue on, that now includes
The old pus and out-of-town couple.

The engine is heard and a forward thrust is felt,
At last, they are about to go on...until suddenly...
They jerk to a stop...then a voice is intensely heard,
..."We at Metro apologize for this undue delay,
For this train is now inoperable, so please disembark
And take all you have with you, as this train will
Now head to the shop from this station.

Bear in mind that another train has been dispatched,
Whereto, it will take you to your final destinations."

"We at Metro, would like you all to have a pleasant day!"

This all took for a moment of time, to record in the annals
Of the written memory that is historically held in the
Everlasting void belonging to the sanctity of a mere...

                                                        ~~ second.
