The sky embraces
The beauty of our love.
Unshed tears remain
Unreleased as in dark clouds
Filled with heavy rain.
The colors of the rainbow
Hold fast our secrets
Shared in separation
Forever kept safe
In our soul’s dimension.
I hear your voice
In whispers of the wind
As your shadow
Walks with mine
Hand in hand---
One day my tears
Will mingle with the rain
As I journey to your side
Once again.

Willow

Loose green tendrils hanging low
kiss the soft green earth, the bough
kneels with the wind as if in prayer,
a penitent so humble, so subservient.
A pliant bow that's unreleased,
and like to spring to heaven with a swish,
a stately, monumental king
of meadow and a murmuring stream,
in haze concealed, a misty dream,
a graceful monolith 'twould seem,
cloaked in the blue-grey hush.

moistened eyes, dew drops swallowed
pain that tugged bleeding heart plugged
bliss beats led us and we followed
surfing suffering soul shrugged

no one sees unreleased sneeze

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

A Vision

A VISION
--------
The raw reflection, she is
The silent mirror of my soul
Who in her stillness channels deep
The sour secrets that stain
The dying hopes that drain
The heart of their keeper

Her dreamer's dream, like dice
Enfold in the fist of his hand
With rapidity, restrained
Unreleased to disband
Raveled, like the white lit stars
Secluded from the searching eye
Enrobed inside the night's dim sky
So was his love for her, emotions deep
Possessed, but never a prize
Displayed of him

The glamour hind the golden gates
Her city, there within resides
The glow of glory and my eyes
Like lips of lovers quick collide
Encumbered, closed inside a kiss
A soulful duet, sung
With power, undeniable
With passion, indescribable
Bowels of intimacy, in love
The bride/groom,

This ethereal, intimate scene
My eye beholds
Yet with heart of hearts
I withdraw and withhold her

Though so ever wise,
She's shows herself
Her wisdom, infallible
To myself, I say
"Be wise, take heed!!!"
For I know from my mind
The famine shall flee

Understand!!!! Understand!!!
Your will, to hers, yield
For your fate, in her hand befalls
"A wrong direction," she assures me
"Never should you know of fear"
For this angel, sent to you shall guide
And oversee you through the ever
Deep and dark divide
Between the distant realms

Do You Have My Back

Do You Have My Back? (Loyalty)

Earn my trust
Earn my allegiance
Allegiance professes commitment
Allegiance is pure dedication
Dedication proper and steadfast
Dedication allows peace of mind
Mind not at ease when lacking
Mind needs constancy
Constancy denotes dependability
Constancy communicates so not to alienate
Alienate an enemy
Alienate frenemies they reek of perfidiousness
Perfidiousness will lead to deceit
Perfidiousness feels like betrayal
Betrayal is a human trait
Betrayal like a wound that is familiar
Familiar ends with liar
Familiar should not create duplicity
Duplicity is not overt
Duplicity will use falsity to hurt
Hurt is at times begins covert
Hurt can lead to a life reclusive and remote
Remote must find a resolution
Remote reattachment requires swift amends
Amends may counteract negative damage
Amends must be sincere to fortify prior commitment
Commitment rectified can even strengthen devotion
Commitment combined with action can rebuild trustworthiness
Trustworthiness is key to avoid treachery
Trustworthiness sought must be a given to receive
Receive it and bask in the glory
Receive and attain a security worth more than gold
Gold is nil compared to trust
Gold cannot outweigh a true friend who has your back
Back another up with their true interests at heart
Back a friend and feel the heartfelt commitment
Commitment is for the resilient
Commitment makes one’s heart feel secure
Secure attachment from each other
Secure feelings are bound by devotion
Devotion is priceless
Devotion empowers liberation
Liberation allows one to live freely
Liberation enables dissidence
Dissidence unreleased can grow black inside
Dissidence with adulation can be expressed
Expressed to a mirror when unaccompanied
Expressed aloud when appropriately linked
Linked to others forges faith
Linked reciprocally is fidelity
Fidelity
Faith

T enderly, Mother Earth, allow me April's dew
O pening my senses for barbed thoughts to rest
U pon lean nights pained by winter memoirs:
C uddle these breaths unreleased, till I am
H ealed by the gleam of your spring's awakening.

The wailing of a long midnight,
as burdened eyes carry much weight.
I leave you my tears from dismal rites
without the will to bear or translate

a rake piercing my threadbare sky.
The only thing I need to ask
is where’s the balm to our goodbye;
as somber air tries to unmask

the wilted hours robbing time’s grace;
while frozen lips that have not kissed
the hope of summer’s warm embrace,
endures my angst’s prowl ...unreleased.

Somehow the clouds drift to unfold
A vision of torn reveries
Designed by fate... gentle yet bold
Until new stars bequeath rest’s peace.

Heartbroken Clouds

Mingle with mounts, wander arid desert sands
seep into seas, lie lone o'er unknown lands
replicate waves of myriad mirrors flowing below
stand on meadows high engulfing green bands
innocent smiling children, gaze in delighted awe
at tufts tickling kites with a feathery fluff claw
the meditating sage atop a peak simply seeks
that all wants, wishes, into this vapour withdraw
stepping stones on the patchy pastel sky
furrowed fields, they fade, and away, they fly
shifting, shrinking, shapeless strewn shreds
white paint stroke streaks hovering high
in ripe time, like truth, they silently freeze
they twist and break with the blowing breeze
or seem darker than lies hidden away
than truth clouded, delayed or unreleased
creeping crimson hues mark presence
climb slow the soft snowy effervescence
as they eclipsed the sun, it lost sunshine
its soul seemed dead, life lost the essence
a sight that reminds of love's fulfilling bliss
this upside-down land that the angel's kiss
afloat on cotton cushions, watch the world amok
running across horizons,floating this abyss
the shadows shielding are so dark, so dead
how the heart and soul shiver in dread
fearing the sunshine shall never return
wishing to merge with the clouds instead
overcast meaning, truth casts a shroud
flashing rage in sparks, thunders angrily aloud
live dreams not fears, crush doubts not hopes
cries the perennially pouring heavy cloud
at times soft clouds meet thundering peers
throwing lightning, thunder, words and fears
tender hurt hearts shatter at the harshness
making broken clouds mourn a million tears

Only Everything - Part Two

I got an ultimatum, I can shoot through them or create a diversion,
but either way it's the same, just an unreleased version.
It's never different, one just brings a smile,
I accept the little things, one step is the beginning of a mile.

Never denial, there's no regrets and no looking back,
what happened then is gone, a figment of your imagination, it's the past.
You brought that out, you let me release my inner thoughts,
you brought my chin up, and when I fell you instantly caught.

When it was hot, you were a fan, a resource for fresh air,
when nothing was right, you were the only place where things were fair.
My fairytale, my mansion where there were to many rooms,
where I could take of my shoes, and finally tell the truth.

You're my destination, it doesn't matter how far,
my fabrication, where I can build anything that I want.
I can't replace you, there's nothing more that I need.
You are my garden, and my pen is the seed, you're Only Everything.

Premium Member The Forgotten Soldier

The train trundles on, leaving behind at each station a soldier with his own past
Heavyweight in its endeavours portraying its only passengers as its un-holy cast

Each face a palpable grey, their blackened eyes sunken within their vast sockets
Each sat at their given seats characteristically sullen, with their hands in pockets

One only feels the coldness, within each carriage that descended upon them all
As not one ice breath plume emanating from the mouths, or nostrils did sprawl

Lifeless grey of their eyes gave nothing away of their hell, or of the horrors seen
Of a war where no real moral understanding is ever found for any of us to glean

Each un-sung hero now taking his last journey home, each to its own eternal life
Each one given their own time to offload their burdens of the unforgivable strife

Only once the reality of what has happened did the train lessen its speed to halt
As the one last soldier left his seat, then upon the platform made his last assault

He was going home now, but with no lessening of the grey pallor within his eyes
His home a cold grave now, lying under the darken un-forgiving, harrowing skies

He had fought for his country with an unquestionable honour, lay now as forgot
His remains under a white ensign Portland headstone buried within its own plot

A young man with no wife, or child, just parents themselves long gone deceased
His secrets of the war held within this mound of earth remains to all unreleased

So if passing a graveyard, and upon your eyes a lonely regimental grave you see
Place a flower of remembrance and set a well-earned soldier from his sleep, free

Burden

Plunged deep into chaos Man adios
Love in hand and daily in trance
                           Steering rulers losing
                                Man anew with
                                      Burden
                                a poet's flame
                          to diagnose each pain
seeking what of words can Man heal
pen at rest the load lingers unreleased.

Dark Chords

What am I for the world so wonderful:
the word mute in an unreleased verse,
the tormented pause in song,
fourth picture of triptych ...

In the theater of life /without sufleurs/
I'm not even an inclined tree,
I am not even a bush, and a sheet deflated,
in the order of numbers-the smallest number,

one of the ants working without memory
obedient little bee in his hive,
in a small hole returning to a covenant,
still alive, but until when, O God ...

Yet She Smiles

Her dreams crashed on the shore of reality
Her ambitions lay covered in the blanket of misery
Life has stolen a piece from her
And left without saying as much as a word
Time heals wounds but what about dreams
Her scars run deeper than my imagination can explain
She holds a suicidal amount of unreleased pain
But her screams will not be heard
Her giving up has never occurred
Her bravery has slain dragons in ages past
Her courage has pushed forth soldiers fighting for freedom
Her attitude has broken through diabolical spells cast
Its her motivation that allowed the tyranny of oppression to become undone
She stands tall, as life tries to break her down
But with every punch with every pound
She never shows where it hurts
She never complains about her tears
She never breaks the glass of valor
Tales will be spun, for she is what makes it all possible
Everything breaks down in time
But her shattered pieces of dreams are nowhere to be found
She picked them all up and placed them somewhere to never make a sound
For dreams are ambitions that have lost their drive
But she miraculously manages to keep them alive
Shattered, broken, unhinged, damaged to the very core
Unable to walk on clouds no longer able to soar
She is now an angel with clipped wings
A dancer with no ankles, a story with no end
She has been through the darkest of pits
She has wormed through the narrowest of slits
Cut, bruised, beaten … life gave it it’s all
But she is wonderful because through it all
I would have broken down, and yet she smiles
So for that I wanted to say thank you

Daniel In the Lions Den

https://m.soundcloud.com/user-921599710/daniel-in-the-lions-den

To govern at large, with depth and reason
King Darius ruler of the kingdom
Presidents for a land of size
The king thought Daniel to be wise

Princes appointed honourably
Filled with growing jealousy
Daniel served so faithfully
Others watched him carefully

Faultless find, a call to stay
Devotion daily, time to pray
A plot to have him done away
Of treatment in a wicked way

A king with pride deep at the core
Presidents helped to plan the law
For no requests of thirty days
Carried forth, unrighteous ways

Such flattery, from trusted men
From Daniel’s prayer – into the den
A law in place could not be changed
A callous plan they did arrange

Into the pit, sat unreleased
Sealed mouths of savage beasts
For God knew they were guilty
Daniel saved and rendered free

Injustice that was ensuing
The truthful case of wrong-doing
Into the pit, the men of wrong
For there the righteous don’t belong

Premium Member Nightmare

Myriad of wired scenes consumes me
Stained by Hades , shadows lurk
Within a lunar widescreen of a dream---
Voices raking with madness...lost
On phosphorus wisp of evening

Despite frail light in the shade-
Bleak visions cascade on damp floor
Ghastly these shadows crawling
Through serpentine weaves , as if
To pluck my soul, their angst unreleased:

I slither into deeper caves of dreams
Rummaging my last trails of grace,
My faith begging for prayers to lilt...
Until my body wakes, rocking gently
Changing macabre hours into twirls
Of calm, a behest from morning god
While I finally slay my own ghosts.
