Burden

Plunged deep into chaos Man adios
Love in hand and daily in trance
                           Steering rulers losing
                                Man anew with
                                      Burden
                                a poet's flame
                          to diagnose each pain
seeking what of words can Man heal
pen at rest the load lingers unreleased.

Your poetry flows with such golden ease of deep emotion and exquisite expression, dearest Besma. Your avid reader loves to linger with your verses pondering your profound insights from an enlightened mind, a shining heart and a loving soul. Yes, leaders are too often oblivious to people's pain and suffering and this realization can overwhelm and paralyze the poetic mind and pen. A deep, meaningful poem and a true pleasure to linger over, my lovely friend. A FAV! Warmest wishes and love always.. ~Susan

Releasing the weight of burden can often be attained by putting pen to paper, something which you have undoubtedly experienced, Besma! There is much meaning in your words, and it is apparent that you enjoy making use of this form. I'm glad that "Mollie" served as a spark:) Regards // paul

Pouring out our hearts and minds into words is definitely satisfying and healing but still when questions remain unanswered, when mysteries linger unveiled, when rulers give no heed to people's sufferings and you feel disabled... Too much for a pen to handle the pain.. Thank you so much Paul for your gracious visit and insightful feedback. Be blessed always.
