Stars glare at the twigs,
  darkness begins to settle
Forlorn dreams of stars,
  moonlight covering them with clouds.
As clouds express its thoughts,
  Moon strengthens its mettle
Dreamy stars infuriated,
  with flares, bashed clouds.

Stars and Moon clashed,
  deleted dreams covered by ash
As clouds watch over,
  comets ignited so fast.
Dwindling down are sprinklers of dust,
  speeding with lash.
Titans collided,
Clouds wept like a torn outcast.

Tribute To the Twenty-Ninth Titans

If it were only me, I will be doing anyhow
Nobody would have been there to challenge me now

Now I look back into the face of the future,
What I see, golden grains, people of peasant pictures;

Red roses rooted in the soils of 29th August,
Some still sailing other down in the dazzling dust;

Blessed blueprint on earth pages by sincere sages,
Firm footprint by men with messages for all ages:

Ingrid Bergman, the mother of motion picture
Won worldwide awards, with firm face and features.

Michael Jackson, king of pop, sensational singer,
Dances and drums, thrilled the throng with Thriller*

Isabel Stanford, first African American, actress- leader
To win Emmy Award, Guess who is coming to dinner*

William Friedkin, award winning American producer,
The French connection*, the exorcist’s*… super screenwriter.

Richard Attenborough; British born, powerful TV producer,
Multiple Award winner for Gandhi *: a daring drama.

Rebecca De Mornay; an American film and TV actress,
Thrilled in the Testament* and her roles in Risky business*

Oh, Lauren Collins; an alluring actress, a colorful Canadian;
Thrilled in The Next generation*; she shares my day: a Nigerian.

John McCain, an ambitious American politician, a senior senator,
From Arizona, lived a lively life, formerly an active aviator.

Thom Gunn, a passionate and multiple award-winning poet,
For priceless poems collections…the man with night sweats*

Charles Kettering, American, an inspiring, intriguing inventor,
Invented automobile self starter and engine-powered generator.

Too many to mention: poets, actors, sportsmen and philosophers
Men and women: wise, wild and wonderful; lively, not loafers.

Adeite Adeleke, see the soaring stars who share thy dear date;
Learn from their fame, faults and frailty, focus on faith and fate.

Tyrants and Titans

Impossibly still
The very worst of our kind
Often lead us all.

Titans Clash

Titans Clash

The lightning, it was over-bright
Beads of sweat raining from above
titans clash in bloodthirsty flight
The lightning, it was over-bright
vaporized death exploding light
mythical violence without love
The lightning, it was over-bright
Beads of sweat raining from above

Premium Member If Only I Could Give To You My Best

If only I could give this world my best,
harbored in this port of call of restless
desires deep inside a ship in raging foam,
I’d find a way to make my way back home.

Digging deep into my sleep and slumber,
never more would I ignore the wonder
of sunrise colors painted on the sky,
or seeing your perfection through these eyes.

Peering past tomorrow’s whispering Titans calls,
to hear the ring of angels sing for all
lifting you above the dew and dreary,
weightless and devoid of feeling weary.

To pass God’s gift from underserving lips,
to stranger, lover, friend, who may begin
finding solace, meaning, that does prevail,
would fill my cup and lift me up in sails.

If only I could give to you my best,
I’d pray that every day brings happiness
to you and those who love you like a rose,
the scent of all your goodness, I suppose.

When We Were Titans

once upon a time
 we laughed

clutched hands
 and loved shamelessly
 fearlessly protective
 when her back was turned

I caught every arrow
 dodged every snare
 swallowed every poison
 until I gasped for breath

reaching for a hand
 that is no longer there

once we were Titans

Wizard: Legend of Literary Titans

Free from the sins of the America’s bureaucracy,
you were always indifferent
To jealousy,

Yet your poetry
Has fostered poets
To compose legendary verses,

And, though you are distinguished from,
The majority of your contemporaries
The wounds of the broken have been mended.

Premium Member Two Titans

Yo,
I got two titans,
They be fightin' and rightin' wrongs on the sharp curves of Nashville,
Equipped with expressive brakes,
I mean straight screamin',
Irate with hubcaps from 1993, for all to see,
They gaze and wonda?
Why one wheel got a different pattern than the othas,
Yo the 96 ultima, and the 91 camry, they be gettin' me from points a to b,
I mean my titan rides so phat, they go to the mat,
Pushin 55 and never brakin' but maybe shakin'
Yo, the camry has heat so my wife be drivin' it,
But the nissan, naked like Adam, it be helpin' me appreciate nature,
Cause ever time I turn the air on,
I get smoke all up in my esophagus,
Yo, can't dismiss, the straight bliss, of my sound system,
Yo I got 12's in the trunk, yeah 12 aldi boxes that I got for posterity,
Full of food, that I'll probably never see,
And yo, like at least every 3 months I clean my car out,
But the smell sometimes makes me pass out,
Yo, I almost killed a man, cause he got too close to my exhaust pipe,
Yo as I be drivin, I always get an audience,
Runnin' side to side to avoid the cadence, of my backfires,
The object of my desire,
My phat titans, be settin' fires, no I mean literally,
And my titans got fans, and cans of spam in the back seat,
And on my floor boards their be roach hoards,
And bold mold, remindin' that I'm never alone,
Yeah, I'm in the zone,
Two Titans,
Gettin me from a to be,
And soon you'll see em, classics!

Titans of Powder Ink

O Ye
Titans of powder keg Ignatius ink
I speak to Thee
When flight and night
Draw
The thaw of bedded grass
Under village green sunlight flowers
I seek my charge
As fond letters
Adorned with stamps and frank's
Litter my thoughts
Provoking verse of stale curse
I while each stroke to the i
I dot and cross
For all is lost
More than the last
Each parting shot
Is such sweet sorrow
So i beg of your leave untill tomorrow
Goodnight god bless
No more no less
She takes to the Skies tomorrow
She leaves us at a loss
But somehow better
She is the personification of the letter in a bottle
My muse of peace
The season's follow
I set thou free
From my clench released
Go forth from me
Let me be

Clash of Titans

I saw two clashing titans,
Ten miles above the green;
Their massive bodies twisted,
In battle over Spring

The beast shown black as sackcloth,
The hero – white as snow;
They battled one another
With brutal, mythic blows:

Two terrifying creatures;
They quaked and thundered loud,
Both vying to be victor
On mountain tops of cloud

Behemoths bearing weapons
That blazoned fiery white;
They wrought colossal chaos
Across the calm of night

Until the darkened monster,
Amid the epic row,
Bore down upon the other
And struck a fatal blow

As echoed booms of thunder
Traversed the mount of death,
The weary whitened hero
Then drew his final breath

T’was then that storm did conquer
The innocence of Spring,
And took her mountain dwelling
From which she used to sing.

Walking Amongst Titans

Years before today, I dreamed -
of walking amongst titans.
I pushed, and I ran, and I signed;
I trained, and one day I got it.

Today, and for many days before,
I've walked amongst those titans -
and I find them not only unequal
to the title, but indeed far lesser.

Soon, but never soon enough,
that walk comes to an end.
And I dream now of new titans,
of a new walk - next to an old one.

Many near me try to scare us,
try yet to claim the title;
saying that no others "outside"
can live up to it, surely.

Most ears don't heed their words,
knowing the false bravado behind.
Mine are already listening elsewhere,
tuned to other words and other steps.

A few days past I heard some I'd missed:
the drum beat in the swing of a hammer,
mirth exchanged between workers,
instead of hatred; and "great job - thank you".

I was dead wrong headed into this,
and it's almost time for the remedy.
A few more miles, and I can trade
work boots for these worn marching ones.

I already had my dream, already
walked amongst the true titans -
and to my shame never knew it.
But I was one once, and will be again.

Arc Cherubim Titans

Titans
The wicked monsters are back!!!
The haters of what they hate are back!!!
All they want is extinct of whom they hate.
I think they want a throne
       The cherubs
The holy cherub preparing their hosts.
Micheal leading his soldier of honour.
      The titans
Oh titans are back!
Welcome back chaos.
Welcome back war.
     The Arc
Arc angels leading straight into battle?
Micheal preparing to strike.
Preparing to spill blood.
 Gabriel in angry mode
The angels are ready to fight.
