Best Three Wishes Poems
If I had three wishes and knew that they’d come true.
I’d go back in time. There are things that I’d redo.
I wouldn’t do them differently and change my today.
I would do them over again, in the very same way.
To hear my mother laughing, see my dad’s twinkling eyes,
hold my now-grown children when they were infant-size,
kiss my handsome groom again on our wedding day,
or sit in our old sandbox and with my siblings play.
If I had three wishes, I’d travel through the past
to do again my favorite things to make the memories last.
Thank you for the wishes! That’s what I would do.
But I only need the one. You can keep the other two.

If I were to be granted three wishes today.
I'd wish for a mind that would stay clear always.
I'd wish that in the beginning, man had not sinned.
So that the world wouldn't be in all the trouble it's in.
I'd wish for some toys, so that we could all play.
And be happy and carefree, together always.
So if these three wishes could possibly come true.
Then living would be wonderful and we'd never be blue.
Three Wishes
If I Could Have Three Wishes,
I Wonder What They'd Be?
Would I Have the Wisdom,
To Not Think Just of Me?
It May Not Be a Good Thing,
To Be Given Something Free.
It Would Lose It's Value,
But That Is Hard to See.
I Could Ask for Money,
But What Would it Be Worth?
I Couldn't Take it with Me,
When I Have to Leave this Earth.
But There Are Three Things,
That I'd like to Call Just Mine.
Love and Happiness Are Two,
The Other...Peace of Mind.
I'd Have All I Could Wish For,
If I Just Had These Three.
Then I Could Be of Help to Others
And Not Be Thinking Just of Me.

I summon Genie from Aladdin's lamp
Requesting he fulfill his wishes three -
I think of children (eyes becoming damp),
Wish 1: please Genie, end their poverty.
Then, contemplating nations still at war
With all the devastation they entail,
Wish 2: please end the conflicts we abhor
That global peace forever may prevail.
One wish remains, dear Genie; don't be mad,
But this one is more selfish, if I may -
I wish to spend some time with Mom and Dad,
Two souls whose presence I miss every day.

For I look thru yonder skies as three jewels catch my eyes
Three wishes come to prize cascading down celestial highs
Within the night I must decide a yearning heart deep inside
Wishing well upon the hillside before the dreams do collide
The universe I wish to keep being close in a quantum leap
Creating stars in just a sweep lifting veils of vastness deep
For my heart I wish to heal so my long lost love will reveal
No more sorrows to conceal thus vanquishing all that I feel
Heavens align just once more keeping me in their drawer
Dictating love from the core with angels & music as décor
A billion galaxies within my view as my love begins to spew
Now I start a life anew my last wish I have saved for you.

A bottle was floating in front of my eyes
And drifted ashore from the sea.
I gazed in amazement when to my surprise
The message enclosed was to me!
I'd been on the island for twenty-one years
All hope of escape had grown thin.
On reading the note my eyes glistened with tears,
Three wishes were granted within.
How long I had prayed isolation would cease,
Yet clear was the choice I must make;
I wished that the world might know love, hope and peace
Then prayed that my heart would not break.

My biggest and first wish is a world free of nuclear weapons
The future is in the hands of the enemy

I have to be aware of what I want
Thinking about the values of life and how I want to live it
Having a happy life is both a wish and a goal
Happy people live in the present
If we want to live a meaningful life,
we must first understand why we are here
The people on earth are born under the same sky

Can fairy tales be part of life,
Or does it only seem
That a Cinderella slipper
Can be part of every dream?
I won't pretend to know it all,
I'm really not that smart.
But, some things will not be denied --
They live inside my heart.
If I had three wishes, I'd use only one.

The two that were left, I'd give someone else --
To hold them would be too unkind.
To know you were mine for the rest of my life
Would, all my hopes, far exceed.

That, till now, has been forbidden.
Two idle wishes would remain
For someone else to own.
A single wish would give me more
Than anyone has ever known.

Or be a driver in a NASCAR race.

Or a cool car or my own private plane.
I could be the strongest man alive, the smartest too.
Oh the things I could wish for, so many to choose!
I could lead the country as the U.S. president,
But have people follow me everywhere I went.
I could be a lion, eagle, shark or a bear.
I could be anything, go anywhere.
I could be a kid again, where all my life's a game.
I could climb Mt. Everest or walk the Moon's plains.
I could have all these things, and a lot more too.
If I just said the words "I wish" then they could come true!
So many wishes to make, I can't take it anymore!
I know my first wish: I wish I knew what to wish for!

Three Wishes
Three wishes I will grant you,
Three wishes and no more,
No wealth nor riches can I offer,
Choose wisely I implore.
Perhaps the gift of wisdom,
Like Solomon or Balthazar,
The offering of kindness,
A Samaritan or Angel afar.
Precious talents of a musician,
Master of canvas, paint and brush.
Take time this is your chance,
I will wait patiently, no hurry, no rush.
If I had three wishes that could be made true,
I can tell you without thinking
what I would like to do.
My little friend Kate’s just five and has cancer,
could you touch her and heal her please,
She’s fighting really hard, but she’s getting really tired.
I would ask for peace, no more war,
let our soldiers all come home,
for they’ve fought a long hard battle, and
their so far from their families.
Lastly I would ask that all the missing children
would be found, so they and their parents
could finally lay to rest in peace,
knowing where they are sleeping.

A sneeze I blow into my hand
Staring at the strange liquid hiding deep within me
Glaring like a green ember from a leprechaun
it popped up and metamorphed into a fairy
Granting only three wishes
My first to love a man made up in my heart
Second to run the world and back with gifts from the seven Contenents
Third to never exist only in the eyes of this fairy
When the Third was granted
The fairy had taken me as her wish
Her first,
To make love to me all day
Second, to chain me is sexual bondage
Third, for me only to exist in repetitious demeanor everyday
We made sexual promises in purple fields
Became naked under hot pink water-falls
Procreated offsprings of haflings
I want to never leave the fairy world
He's a Genie after my own heart
he gives out wishes of great value
love was the first choice of my start
there is no greater hark then I love you,
then I wished for health for me and mine
he smiled rubbed the lamp and said go on
then my eyes picked up a glowing shine
I could not believe the way he shone *
Lastly, I did wish for family peace
for all the world to be as one and well
he smiled and said "my name is Maurice"
then we hugged until the sun slowly fell.

If you rub my lamp,
You might get a cramp.
Three wishes I give you,
Nothing like voodoo.
First wish,
just not a fish.
Second way,
Nothing to betray.
Third is a charm,
But not to disarm.
The way these work,
I'm not a clerk.
There's nothing I wouldn't do,
Since when is a genie blue?
